This truly is a great product. I recently put a new hard drive into my laptop. Therefore, I bought this drive enclosure to house my old hard drive from the laptop. Now I can use it as an external hard drive. It is easy to use, no tools or anything required. Just take off the back of drive enclosure and insert the hard drive, just like putting a battery into the back of your mobile phone. Put the back on and you are done. Then just plug the usb into a usb port on your laptop. You can literally be using it in minutes.The only con with this product is that the usb cord is very short and it is possible for it to dangle when it is plugged in.This is a great product, and the price on Amazon is very good,

Changed my Macbook hard drive for a SSD so rather than chuck out a 750 GB drive this has converted it to a spare backup disk. The case is flimsy but you don't really chuck hard drives around so as a spare its fine. Plus if I ever get problems with the SSD I can boot of this.
