I use this with a Makita cordless saw and rail adaptor, so not a plunge saw. The setup works well but I feel the guide, which is only an aluminium extrusion, is very expensive. Saying that, the benefits must be good as I have purchased a 1 metre length for shorter cuts.

Works perfect with plunge saw and makes job of cutting wallboards straight much easier than using circular saw
