L'Oreal have been keeping on trend, for those who dislike the matte look I've seen gloss or semi gloss looks coming back but this time stepping away from the gloopy stickiness of the 00s gloss (I was there!) towards a slicker, softer but still super shiny glossy look that's more comfortable and less hair attracting. These have a lovely feel on the lips and are quite moisturising, but don't leave any trace when removed (apart from insanation which is a little stainy)Of course with ANY gloss product it's not going to last very long, you will want to reapply after a while and if you are showing any signs of aging you may want to get a wax or 'invisible'

1. Colour: The shade I bought is shade 352. It's a nice bright red tone. Classic Red. Great for making teeth look brighter. Unfortunately, not the colour for me. I would however recommend using this only slightly to just brighten your lips.2. Appearance: not matte, more of a shimmery glossy appearance. A small amount of application gives a natural gloss3. Texture: very smooth and easy to apply. Glides across skin. I dap this product gently from the applicator onto my lips rather than pulling it. Gives a more natural and more easily controlled finish4. Longevity: I would suggest a lip liner with this lipstick as it would easily bleed onto the rest of the face. Also be careful not to get on teeth.

A lovely peachy brown lipstick, that leaves lips feeling smooth and moisturised. Also reasonably long lasting.I am now fifty eight and I have been a fan of L'Oreal products since being a teenager and I especially love the L'Oreal lipsticks. So when I was given the chance to review this new lipstick I jumped at the chance not having tried this range of lip coloursThis L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Shine Lipstick is supplied in a classic lipstick barrel (a stunning crystal cut design on the outer and silver on the inner barrel). This range of lipsticks come in various fashionable shades and the one I received is called 642 MLBB.The first thing I noticed when applying this lipstick was that it went on extremely smoothly and afterwards my lips felt wonderfully moisturised,

Only in Paris is a soft shade of peach with more pink tones than orange, I believe this will be flattering to any skintone.The case comes with a security sticker for peace of mind, the clear plastic top fits well and is unlikely to open accidentally in a pocket or makeup bag.Coverage is very smooth and soft against the lips, it has just enough shine to be classy rather than glossy. You can use the outer edge of the bullet as a lipliner before filling in or just use it straight from the stick, colour is buildable if you want to personalise the look. I can detect a slightly fruity fragrance that is pleasant and in no way chemical. For a dress down day a light coat would give a natural look and for more drama just blot and apply again.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Shine Lipstick 350 Insanesation is lovely to use lipstick which has a lovely to apply on my lips as it does not dry them out compared to others I have used in the past. The lipstick has a narrow round edge which is narrow enough to apply on my lips without making me look like a clown!The softness and sleekness of the lipstick is a pleasure to apply and wear and for me, this is one lipstick I would be happy to purchase in other colours, personally, this colour being the 350 Insanesation is a very deep, strong red colour and simply too bright for my pale skin. Though I do like the finish of this product and it makes it very easy for me to recommend a first class product

LOVE this lipstick! This is the perfect lipstick for someone like me with dry lips that just doesn't look good in matte lip colours. This lipstick provides lots of colour and moisture to the lips and feels comfortable to wear. Yes, it doesn't last forever so you do need to reapply fairly often, but that's a price I'm more than willing to pay for the result this lipstick gives! You also have to keep an eye out on your teeth as you might get a bit of this lipstick on them because of the formula, especially this bright colour! I really like the colour of this one, a nice pink shade that I think most people would enjoy! Can't wait to wear this through the spring and summer! Such a pretty shade!

These are truly wonderful lipsticks. I have been enjoying wearing these as we have come into summer as there is a lovely range of beautiful bright colours and nudes to choose from.The finish is very fresh and shiny, which I think makes my lips look juicy and more plump.The scent of them is very pleasant, as they have a subtle fruity sort of scent. It is nothing over powering and fades after a short while. The scent of them also reminds me of summer.The packaging looks very luxurious with the gold band around the rim. The clear plastic is styled to look like a sort of crystal.I am very impressed with how moisturising and nourishing these are, as they feel just like wearing a lip balm. Despite this,

I absolutely loved the stylish lipstick packaging. It looked incredibly classy.‘High on Craze’ 245 is a fabulous coral colour - quite subtle but noticeable. The lipstick glided on smoothly and perfectly and did not just colour the lips but also moisturised. It left a lovely glossy finish on application.Colour 'Girls Night' 906 is a light purple/grey, almost neutral colour with irridescent, glittery shimmer. Surprisingly it looked good on and not too garish.'Hot Irl' 643 is a lovely neutral brown hue which gives a lovely natural tone to the lips. As above, this lipstick glides on and leaves a great gloss finishAll the lipsticks leave a pleasant 'taste' on the lips.My only criticism of the product is that within three hours,

This lipstick comes in such an expensive looking, classy case. It easily rivals high end brands with its modern design. As the lipstick is entirely flat on the top, I was worried about getting a precise, even coverage on the lips. Once applied, everything was fine. What an amazing lip color! I was so impressed by the vivid and bold color. It is a lovely, warm, passionate red. And the glossy shine just adds a touch of glamour to it. My lips felt hydrated and smooth and great. As the day wore on, the lipstick did come off a little, but not in bad way as it still left my lips with color, although not as strong. This is a wonderful product and I will definitely look into trying more colors in the range (as well as buying some more of this beauty!)

This is a very classy, glamorous lipstick! It comes in such a cool, modern, high-end looking, clear lipstick case. It glides onto your lips really easily, although it might be best to use a lip brush around the edges to keep the lines neat. The color is a nice, deep berry with hues of pink and blue coming through, depending on the light. It is really striking and lovely.It is a light consistency on your lips and it is not sticky at all. It stays in place more or less the whole day, but does fade after time (eating, drinking, etc), but fades generally all over, so you don't look messy.This lipstick has so much sparkle it could rival a diamond ring! The shiny gloss it leaves is amazing - it helps my lips look fuller!

I really love this product and this colour. It comes out as a fresh twist on a classic red due to the high shine. It stays really well and looks amazing on. Even after the gloss fades, you’re left with a pretty lip tint, and that’s without using a lip liner underneath. For more of a defined lip, the infallible lip liner in ultra violet looks great with this shade. The packaging of this product is really chic and the fragrance of the product is Devine! I need to get some more colours in this range as it’s really amazing - just so glossy and shiny and so flattering to wear. I decided to go all out and pair with a warm orange colour and it wasn’t too much, but just really on trend.

This is a gorgeous product that feels so smooth and lovely on the lips. In terms of pigment, it's sort of a cross between a sheer lipstick and a thicker one, as it's quite sheer at first but you can layer it up really well. This one is a lovely light peachy colour that shows even if your lips are a slightly darker shade (as mine are). It does pick up if your lips aren't completely smooth so I'd advise a good lip scrub before hand or to layer this colour over another thicker nude lipstick.Overall though, it's a beautiful summer lipstick, just the right shade for this season and moisturising on the lips. It does transfer but it's easy to reapply. Also, the packaging is simply gorgeous,

This lipstick is lovely. It feels like a rich, moisturising balm as it goes on, such a pleasure to apply that you wouldn't mind having to keep doing it. But you don't need to because it lasts: that's the big surprise, because I would have expected a moisture-rich lipstick like this one to come off very quickly. I put it on mid-morning and it survived, coffee and then lunch. By then, the high intensity of the colour had faded a bit, but I was definitely still wearing a pretty lipstick, not a vague stain. Also, it remains moist and comfortable no matter how long it's been on. 464 is my favourite. It's a rich, berry pink which would be a good one if you find red tones to be too orange for you.

This is a beautiful dark purple shade. It was the first time I to put on a dark purple lip color and I absolutely loved it. It has a really nice shine with intense color which it was quite long lasting on my lips, without drying them. The texture was perfect. I applied it without a lip liner, smudging the edges slightly, to make is less sharp. I will be wearing it next time with a lip liner for more definition. It has a nice subtle scent. I was less keen on the packaging, I didn't find the transparent case particularly attractive.Overall, lovely high shine lipstick. Perfect way of wearing dark lip color, informal and modern.
