L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in "VIOLET SATURN" No 214There are occasions when what you see is not exactly what you get, and this is one such item! At first sight, this looks to be a fairly dark colour lipstick but "VIOLET SATURN" is a much more natural shade in use.1st Impressions:• The Lipstick is tamper-proof sealed with a peel back label which shows the list of ingredients (you will need a magnifying glass). The lipstick has the traditional 'twist up' style action.• The pale satin gold casing to the Lipstick is very, very classy and smart, with a shiny gold engraved centre band.• Pull off the cap and the twist up action of the lipstick is sure, smooth and steady. When fully retracted back again, the actual lipstick does not sit up 'proud' but lies level with the top, so it is not susceptible to damage when re-capping the lid.• The lipstick cap snaps on and clicks into place, and feels firm enough not to come apart in your bag.• Engraved on the top of the cap is the lipstick shade number (so if you love it you have that reference) and underneath the end is a sticker giving the lipstick name range, shade name and number. In use:• The colour of the lipstick ("VIOLET SATURN" No 214) is a very pretty mid Rose Pink, like a gorgeous summer rose in the garden, with an additional subtle and discrete sparkly finish. There is a good amount of colour and is by no means a very pale lip colour.• It is easy to apply from the stick, or with a lip brush. The lipstick has a traditional point to it and a tear drop shaped smooth side.• Once on, it felt very smooth and moisturising with no cloying or sticky feeling.• There is hardly any fragrance to the lipstick, just a really vague powdery type scent.• The lipstick has no real 'taste' – nothing to dislike or that is particularly noticeable.• I applied the 1st coat, blotted and applied a second coat. There was next to nothing left on the rim of a cup after a first drink. As the day went on the lipstick did disappear and did not have much stain to it, to give a lot of lasting colour. The lipstick did not 'bleed' or come off on my teeth (natural or otherwise!!)• For any ladies who like to use a pencil Lip Liner before applying lipstick, L'Oréal Colour Riche Couture Lip Liner "BOIS DE ROSE" Shade NO 302, is perfect to go with this lipstick. It is like it is tailor made!To sum up:-• This is a reasonably priced lipstick. I had no allergic reaction to the product, and I just love this colour. It suits my pale complexion and older age group. (Not as dark a colour on the skin as it looks in the photos) It is a great shade for all year round and is flattering.• At an RRP of £6.99 it is great value from the tried and trusted L'Oréal cosmetic collection.

L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick in "BEIGE Ὰ NU" No 630This is one of those lipsticks that at first sight looks darker than what it actually is on the skin.1st Impressions:• The Lipstick is tamper-proof sealed with a peel back label which shows the list of ingredients (you will need a magnifying glass). I received a free L'Oreal Color Riche lipstick in 302 Bois de Rose to try out and waited for the opportunity to try it out several times before writing this review. At first glance the case is impressive - 'Riche' gold and with a handy notch clasp that keeps the lid in place, even when being bounced around in your bag.The action is smooth and the stick is a lovely, solid one with a great applicator point which stays in shape use after use. The scent of the lipstick reminded me of the vintage ones my Mum and Grandma used.Bois de Rose is a warm, neutral, dusky pink - only a few shades darker than my natural lip colour - and this would be my preferred shade for any lipstick. The first opportunity I had to try this out was, unfortunately, a family funeral. The event called for an understated, subtle look and 302 was the perfect shade to achieve this. The colour swept on easily and smoothly, no need to load it heavily as the colour depth I wanted was achieved with just a few strokes. The lipstick was surprisingly moisturising, despite the matte finish, and I didn't need to use a lip balm. The colour lasted well - this isn't marketed as an extended wear lipstick so I would expect to reapply it after the usual eating/drinking etc. I didn't notice any transfer but as I said the colour is neutral. The second occasion I had to try this out was dinner and the theatre with my Mum and sister. This meant going from day to night with minimal products as I was heading out straight from work. I took the Color Riche lipstick as I figured it could also be used as a blush due to it's matte finish and neutral colour. It was a perfect balance for my preferred eye-heavy evening look. All in all this shade is a great staple for your make-up wardrobe - a versatile neutral that would complement many skin tones and works well for day or evening looks. L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick - Violet Saturn (No. 214)=== OVERALL ===This is a lovely lipstick that leaves my lips feeling moisturised and where the colour stays on well. The packaging is sleek and elegant in a pale golden colour and feels good quality; the internal golden twist-up barrel feels sturdy and is covered by a metallic cap that clicks securely into place, so it's safe to carry around in your handbag. The colour is a pinky peachy nude with a slight shimmer, suitable for daytime or, for the evening, contrasting against a dark smokey-eyed look.=== IN MORE DETAIL ===There are three qualities I look for in a lip colour product, namely:COLOUR - The colour is a pinky peachy nude with a slight shimmer, suitable for daytime or, for the evening, constrasting against a dark smokey-eyed look. The colour on the lips is slightly paler than the colour on the lipstick itself when looking at it in the tube.FEEL ON THE LIPS - Lipstick must feel smooth on application and not dry the lips out as some products do. This L'Oreal lipstick goes on beautifully smoothly and leaves my lips feeling moisturised (though not quite as much as my favourite Laura Mercier lipstick, but it's a fraction of the price).COLOUR STAYING POWER - If a lip product is too hard, it can be drying, but too soft and the colour can wear off quickly. This colour stayed on well, although the middle part did wear slightly after I'd had a drink and eaten a full meal. For maximum staying power, I use a lip pencil around the outline of my lips to stop colour bleeding, apply the lipstick with a lip brush, press the lips together for a second or two to melt the lipstick into the lips then apply a second coat; otherwise I just slap the lip colour on as I go and that's easy to do with this lipstick as it's shaped at an angle at the end.For sale at the time of writing this review at £6.99.

Shade 630, Beige au Nu is a mix of natural blush pink and the lightest brown rather than a nude beige, and it's perfect for my light Asian skin that I often have trouble finding pink-brown natural-looking shades for. This has a nice light scent that's a little old-fashioned, but that I like better than some overpoweringly scented lippies that are out there nowadays. It looks like a burnished brown when you twist the lippy up, and when wiped off on a white tissue it's the same, but trust me - once on, it's a definite rose-brown tint. It smoothes on beautifully, and I just needed to press my lips together for perfect coverage; only one coat on each lip was needed, so this is good value for money.Boy,does it last - it didn't need reapplying until after lunch, and lasted through 2 cups of coffee, a fried breakfast (a treat for Xmas!), some fruit, a salad lunch, and about 4 cups of water. There was very little transference to mugs or plastic cups and yet when I wiped the colour away to reapply, I didn't need to scrub. It doesn't dry lips out and doesn't have that 'tight' look that some matte shades can give, making your lips look lined/wrinkly.The outer packaging is classy: a slightly burnished pale gold metal tube that closes with a satisfying click and that doesn't open too easily so that it'd come loose in a bag, and yet that doesn't need yanking to open it.

I was so happy to be accepted to this campaign for Color Riche Lipstick. I chose Color Riche Lipstick 302 which is not the colour I normally would pick as I generally wear a well known nude lipstick.I decided to put it to the test on a date night. The first thing that catches your eye is the gold packaging(all girls love a bit of gold) which has made a lovely new addition to my make up bag.The texture is very moisturizing and very easy to apply(I didn't even need a lip brush) The colour as I said it was not my normal go to colour as it is quite a bit darker. When I first applied the lipstick it did take me by surprise as it was very flattering with my skin tone. After having a meal and few drinksI was rather surprised at the lasting power of this lipstick I would not go as far as saying there was no transfer but it was very minimal.I have also been talking to a few friends on a pamper day and a few of them have tried some of the other colours and we are very happy with the price point as you do seem to get a lot of product .I am soo happy to have the opportunity to try for free so Thank you bzzagent and L'Oreal. I was super excited to receive this Loreal Colour Riche Lipstick to trial for free from L’Oréal Paris in return for my review. I have always struggled finding the perfect colour to go with my fair skin and red hair so when I received this colour I was over the moon - it didn't clash with my colouring and didn't look like I was playing with my Mum's lipstick! The lipstick is presented in a very high quality case and from the very first application, I was hooked! It did not drag across my lips like some other branded lipsticks and I have to say that it really did make my lips more of a focus. The added Vitamin E and Omega 3 Oils really do make a difference and I never felt that my lips were drying out because of this lipstick.Coverage is excellent and it really does last for a long time before having to reapply. I would definitely recommend everyone has one of these lipsticks both for everyday use and special occasions - go - on you know you want to - a girl can never have too many lipsticks! The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick (Number 630 – Beige A Nu) is a stick of soft but deep and quite natural looking pink lipstick.THE PACKAGING:The lipstick comes in a standard looking lipstick holder with a 'classic' looking silver and gold casing.THE PRODUCT:The lipstick is a very creamy and rich colour. Applying the lipstick it goes on like a standard formula, but with a slightly 'creamier' feel to it than other lip colours have. There's a nourishing sensation as the lipstick is applied (although how much nourishment the lipstick actually offers is probably open to debate). After application the colour lasts really quite well, maintaining its deep almost natural pink colour with very little reapplication required.SUMMARY:All in all the lipstick has proven to be a particularly good one. The colour it offers is deep and certainly noticeable, but still offers quite a delicate shade considering its otherwise rich and creamy depth. The colour lasts well, application is simple and with a nice nourishing look and feel to it.

I love this brand. I just got 303 rose tendre. The product is the real deal. No fakes here. It came sealed and obviously brand new and unussed (added pictures) the seal came off easily and didn't damage the appearance of the stick. This is a very moisturising lipstick. Feels lovley on your lips and applies well. It smells amazing. The smell actually makes it feel more expensive than it actually is.This paticular colour is quiet subtle. Perfect for every day wear and has a slight, very attractive shimmer to it. A great colour for if you want to glam up in a more natural way, paticularly in spring or summer. I have a very very pale skin tone (let's just call me a shade of light blue almost)and this compliments my colour very well, stopping new from looking washed out.The case is beautiful. It looks nice in your makeup bag or handbag.Very much recommended if you like the current "rose gold" trends.

Once again MLG happily helped me with this review...I am so pleased with this lipstick. It is a departure from colours I usually wear in that it is way more muted. I usually like lipstick that can be seen from the moon and this is a lovely purple-y rose-ish colour. It looks amazing on with a light burgundy blush. Straight away I liked the golden packaging and the shape of the tip of the lipstick. It has the brand stamped into the actual product which I think looks good. It has a lovely violet scent which fades quickly so as not to over power. it goes on rich and creamy and is well pigmented. I had lunch and two cups of coffee and it was still on just fine without bleeding which is brilliant.I use it straight from the tube, no lip brush, or lip liner, so it is dead easy to apply, no streaking or dragging. I recommend this highl

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick Beige is a very nice lipstick to use, it glided onto my lips when applied using the actual lipstick. I also used a lip brush to apply and this seemed to increase the staying power, I did have to blot it a couple of times with a clean tissue to get the effect I wanted.I would state if you are very pale to stay away from this colour as it will simply leave you very washed out looking. For those that can get away with wearing this particular colour, I would recommend a smoky eye as if you use very strong colours it will take the attention away from the nude lip look.Regarding the actual lipstick, this is a lovely lipstick to use which comes in a lot of colours, this is a lovely lipstick to use and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a more moisturising lippy.

The item arrived with a hygiene seal and was in perfect condition. The gold coloured casing looks lovely and the shade name is clearly displayed at the bottom. The L’Oréal logo is embossed on the bullet.I ordered the shade 124 S’il vous plait with I would describe as a dark, rich red.The colour in the tube looks very dark, but once swatched it is gorgeous-see video. The lipstick has the traditional L’Oréal lipstick scent (very slightly floral) and I can’t detect any taste whilst wearing it.I find that it applies evenly to my lips and wears well throughout the day. It lasts a good amount of time, but I would not say that it is a particularly long lasting lipstick. The formula feels creamy, comfortable and I would say that the finish is satin.A lovely rich, dark red at a very reasonable price.

I always like my L'Oreal lipsticks, they last a good long time and have colours that suit my fair complexion. Violet Saturn is slightly darker than I usually wear but I am enjoying it, as it certainly makes my face come alive. My teeth look whiter and my smile appears wider.I think this range is about the best you can buy for a reasonable price, the lipstick is encased in classic looking, fairly heavy matt and shiny, contrasting gold case and tube, which clicks closed neatly. The lipstick does feel moisturising and good for my lips. One for the handbag, one for the bathroom, one for the desk drawer...Even H M the Queen refreshes her lipstick in the public eye during banquets so no shame inwhipping out your lippy when the coat has worn off.

This is a gorgeous lipstick and the colour my review is about is the Beige A Nu shade. The lipstick is really creamy and applies beautifully although you may wish to use a lip liner to prevent any colour bleed. The lipstick container is very nicely designed and looks really elegant and expensive whilst the lipstick price at the time of this review is very reasonably priced. The container is gold on the outside and this continues on the inside with the applicator itself. The lipstick feels really soft and creamy on my lips and smells wonderful. The Beige A Nu shade itself is a lovely neutral light brown shade which I would think would suit most skin types and looks lovely for both daytime and evening wear.I am very impressed with this lipstick.

The lipstick is presented in a very high-quality case and from the very first application, I was hooked! The gold colour was classy and it stood out in my handbag. It did not drag across my lips like some other branded lipsticks and I have to say that it really did make my lips more of a focus. This glides on smoothly. This is such a beautiful shade. It has a comfortable creamy texture! I can see myself using It for glamorous nights out as it just looks so beautiful, classy and on-trend!I really enjoy the moisturising formula and glory finish it gives! If there was one thing I could critique is that it is not very long-lasting.Love the smell of this lipstick too.Looks so nice on that I'm sure I'll be using this a lot.
