Had just used the last of my L'Oréal Paris nail polish and was looking forward to trying a different colour. So when I was asked if I would like to review this I said yes.L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Top Coat 5 ml - Disco Ball (Number 922) uses LiquiGel Technology so I found it easy to apply. Now I found one coat to be alright for me as I don’t like polish to be too thick and I liked how the glitter was dotted about my nails. The colour is my favourite which is silver, the little particles of silver sparkle and give a hologram effect of different colours when the light hits the nail polish a certain way. This makes it a lovely polish to use if you’re going out in the evening. The polish goes on easy and the flat brush gives extra precision. It looks well when first applied and continues to do so for well over a week and it doesn’t chip like other more expensive nail polishes I’ve used. :-)The polish wasn’t too hard to remove and hadn't damaged my nails. :-)There are a number of different colours within this range. It’s a brand I’m sticking with as the 5ml is a handy size and gets used up quickly so it doesn’t go all thick and nasty like the bigger bottles do when you haven’t used them for a little while.I can highly recommend this nail polish to others. :-)

My wife's only real indulgence in make up terms is her nails. She's forever trying different finishes from the simple lacquer effect to the complicated colour changing magnetic polishes. She loved the idea of a glitter ball effect. Her comments were a combination of a number of other reviewers comments: it did sometimes annoyingly clump on application and required some pretty quick manoeuvring on her part to break up the clump, luckily because of one of the reviewers experiences she was prepared for this and so able to counter it before the polish set. She also found that whilst this is described as a 'top coat' its distribution wasn't uniform in terms of thickness so did need a clear lacquer on top to give a flat finish, however, as another reviewer points out that then gives the lacquer depth and allows the light to bounce off the particles suspended in the lacquer, which then does gives a fantastic sparkly effect. She did really like this for the effect it created and would love to see it in different colours so you could have each nail in a different colour (but same overall effect) or have different colours on the same nail. Expensive for only 5ml and not without problems in application, but get it right and the effect is spectacular.

Had just used the last of my usual nail polish and was looking forward to trying another brand to see if it was better than the last one we tried.L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Flower Bohème Top Coat Number 937, Boho Look uses LiquiGel Technology so I found it easy to apply. L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Top Coat is a good inexpensive way of adding a bit of sparkle to your nails without costing a fortune compared to a lot of other nail varnishes which offer the same type of nail varnish.I found this easy to apply, as the brush is a good shape for allowing me to paint my nails quickly and easily. I first of all applied a base coat, I find when using a glitter nail varnish that it sometimes can take quite a bit of work to remove, when I apply a base coat as well as protecting the nail it seems to stop the glitter from sticking to the nail bed which also prevents future damage. One coat of this Colour Riche adds quite a bit of glitter,I do like this when I have already applied another colour on my nail as it acts as a background to the glitter allowing it to stand out more. If you want a more concentrated glitter nail bed, I would advise applying L'Oreal Paris Colour RIche Top Coat twice, i.e. two coats on top of a base coat..This is great value and of good quality, which makes it very easy for me to recommend L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Top Coat to those who like adding a bit extra jazz and bling to their nails.

Polish goes on super easy with the precision flat brush so saves time.I used as a top coat on top of a french manicure peachy pink colour and lots of people have asked me about it as its was glitzy and caught their eye. I used 2 coats to make it this way but if you wanted it a bit more subtle, 1 coat would be fine. The 2 coats was great for me though and it lived up to the Glitterball name this way too! :)I love that it is a smaller bottle than a lot of polishes as I use polish a lot but some of them seem to go hard and clump quicker than others so this one is ideal in that I am sure I will use it all before this even gets a chance to happen. The polish is also not too thick but has liquid technology and is gel based so gives a really nice finish and look without a further clear top coat.Only downside was it started chipping after 2 days,Love my Glitterball nails and I will definitely be trying more colours in the range too.Cassandra220689

I ordered this nail varnish with my daughter in mind, she often ask me to use some of my nail polishes, but I hardly ever have suitable for her colours so this one seemed to be perfect and it is, in many ways...- The bottle is small, smaller than standard size nail varnishes.- The nail varnish itself is transparent and have white and light pink pieces (similar to glitter but not sparkly) shaped like flowers, lines and dots.- It looks very fresh, reminds me of pretty cherry blossom flowers and Japanese patterns rather than Bohemian style.- Despite the fact that it is not stated anywhere (on the packaging or in the description) that the nail varnish is 3-free or 5-free I haven't found any harmful chemicals on the list of ingredients, which is another plus.- Minus one star for difficulty of scooping and then attaching the flowers, they are a bit too chunky comparing to the other elements in the nail varnish and hard to spread more or less evenly.

L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.OK? Let's go..WHAT IS IT=========A 5mls top coat. So while this seems a little pricey (rather small bottle, but them I'm used to buying fairly cheap polish/getting it in 3 for 2 deals) I am very happy with it. One reviewer was unhappy because it doesn't give an even finish... Personally I view that as a strength. I want glitter to be slightly chaotic, particularly when small and large glitter is mixed like this. Although this could be used as a topcoat, I always finish with a clear topcoat so that there is a smoother finish - I think it makes it a little more sparkly too - and it lasts longer. My nails seem to hate nail polish and it usually starts peeling after a day but this is day 2 and it is staying strong. Very versatile as silver is a relatively neutral colour, despite the occasional multi-colour effect as this is disco ball, so this can go with a range of colours. I'm delighted with the effect and ease of application. Worth the money!

I have the Disco Ball topcoat (no 922) and this is a lot of fun, bringing sparkle to any colour nail varnish, although I find it works best with a deep colour, like a flame red or a vibrant blue. There are different types of glitter within the topcoat - there are tiny, glitter like flecks and there are larger disco ball-like pieces, which reflect different colours, thus living up to the name.I found that the best way to apply this, is to wipe the brush before brushing onto the nail to essentially just get the small glitter and top coat and then to just add a little dab more from the bottle, which has the larger disco ball pieces - the effect will not be uniform, but that is part of the charm of this happy-go-lucky top coat. Great for parties and celebrations or even just for brightening up your toes to bring a smile to your face when you take off your socks!

This top coat is fabulous if you are looking for an eye catching look. I am currently wearing the Disco Ball top coat over a matte blue varnish and I’ve received quite a few compliments. Although this is a glam look, it isn’t overwhelming and can be worn throughout the day.My only gripe concerns the application and feel. The silver particles have a tendency to clump together, so you have to apply carefully. I found myself having to use the application brush to manoeuvre some clumps to ensure the glitter was spread evenly over my nails. The feel of this product after application isn’t perfect. It leaves the nail surface feeling a little grainy or bumpy due to the glitter, but I’m willing to overlook these personal peeves because the overall effect makes my nails look fab.

My wife's only real indulgence in make up is her nails. She liked this but commented that the application is a bit hit and miss. She found that it tended to clump and you need the patience of a saint to separate it out when applying it, and it did take her several attempts to feel confident enough that she could apply it relatively evenly and get the effect that she wanted given the speed at which the polish was drying - it's not super quick, but quick enough to potentially cause problems if you're not confident about applying it. To give the polish depth she used a clear lacquer over the top. This also served to prevent the polish from chipping and evened out the otherwise bumpy surface.Colour is good and pretty accurate to the photo in the description.

This is a small bottle of clear nail varnish that incorporates varying sizes and shapes of silver glitter.I applied on top of a deep nail colour, which made the glitter particularly prominent and, although I am by no means a proficient applier, I was quite impressed with the results. It left my nails covered with artistic glints that happily stayed put without visibly chipping for a few days.I experimented a bit and added a slightly tinted coat to the top of some nails, which smoothed the surface as well as changing and toning down the amount of glitter. It’s a good standby item to have to hand if you want to glitz up your nails for an evening out and something I will certainly use again.

I usually wait a few days after trying a nail polish before writing a review, but I just could not wait to rave about this one, it's so gorgeous! It is basically a glittery top coat in a clear base, with lots of shiny silver particles of different sizes. I painted on a base coat and a basic red polish before applying the top coat, and it is absolutely stunning! It dried quickly, and basically looks like a shiny explosion has taken place on my nails. I especially love that the silver flecks are of different sizes, so each nail looks different and it looks much more interesting. See the pics and you'll know what I mean.
