[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an arty person, I love painting my nails and have an ever growing collection of nail polish, painting my nails whenever I can. It was my first time using any product of Sally Hansen but I liked this product a lot. I got it in the shade, Pink Tank along with a Top Coat; it was really pleasant and very easy to use, especially as it didn't need a UV lamp!Initially, I thought the packaging was very sleek and professional which gave it a real premium feel. I think it isn't too awkward of a shape to store as well as sturdy. The handle was a comfortable, sensible size. I was also impressed by the generous amount of nail polish so it should have many uses.Upon application, I really liked the shape of the brush; it's flat and wide so it doesn't take more than 3 strokes to complete a nail and glides with ease - ultimately preventing common mistakes such as streakiness and missing the edge of your nail. The brush also held a lot of polish so constant dipping back in the bottle, which can often be annoying, was unnecessary therefore the application was quicker. In my opinion, this shade of pink was really pretty, it was bright but not garish, perfect for spring/summer and quite mood-lifting. I found that I didn't have to worry about any small mistakes with the colour polish as the clear nail polish had an extremely smooth overall finish. Furthermore, the formula dried considerably quicker than I am used to as I rarely purchase high-end nail polish which aided in the quick application as I mentioned before. Living up to the 'Miracle Gel' name, the polish was beautifully glossy and looked like real salon gel nails without the requirement of a lamp. Although the polish promises '14 days of colour and shine', I saw minor chips after about 3-4 days. Then, after approximately 10 days, the chips were a lot more conspicuous and started to peel at the edges so it often caught my hair and was slightly irritating to do things such as washing my hair. Whilst it didn't meet the '14 day' claim, I was satisfied with how long it lasted As with most nail polishes I use, I was worried about it staining my nails when removing, however, the Miracle Gel left little to no stains. The removal process was just like any other nail polish, using a general nail polish remover. Perhaps a bit more vigorous (but to me that shows the longevity). To conclude, I enjoyed using this product as it was a very pleasing and easy going experience. Although it is pricier than the nail polishes I would usually gravitate towards, I wouldn't mind expanding my new collection of Sally Hansen Miracle Gels for a treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical as to how well the no lamp gel polish would stay given that I usually do my own gel polish at home with a lamp. I have used Sally Hansen polishes in the past which have lasted better than other brands but hadn't tried the gel polishes before. I decided to try using the Sally Hansen miracle gel in pinky promise as it was closest to my favourite lamp cure gel and wanted to try it alongside my other gel polish to see how well it lasted and to compare it to the others. I liked the fact that it applies quicker and was impressed that the polish looked the same with the same brilliant glossy shine effect that comes with lamp curedgels. The Sally Hansen miracle gel surprisingly felt lovely on with no tackiness like you get from uncured gel polish. I found that the miracle gel was long lasting and did not discolour at all however after a 9 days I did begin to notice small chips along the edges of the polish. These were not immediately noticeable if you weren't looking for them. After another day or two the miracle gel did begin to lift on the edge of the nail and I found that this was now more noticeable, but to be honest, this does eventually happen with lamp cured gels too.I have to say that although a lot more hard wearing than standard polishes, the Sally Hansen miracle gel was not quite so long lasting as a lamp cured gel but did come close.I decided to remove the miracle gel nail as it was now very noticeable but I have to say that 12 days wear and half the time to paint them was a pleasing result and I found that removing them was less difficult and damaging to my nails. On removal my nail did not look rough and damaged as they would usually do. There was no scraping or scrubbing required but they did need a bit of a soak. For the ease of use and time saved by using miracle gel, I was very happy and my nails did look great. The price of this set of gel polish and top coat, was very reasonable and the results really were quite exceptional. I would certainly buy this again and will choose a more vast colour range as they are great for saving time and effort in both putting on and taking off. Sally Hansen is my go to quick fix nail product and the miracle gel has not disappointed. No gloop, no mess and happily no curing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Metallic polishes have always been my go to colour since aged 12 when my older sister told me these were easier to apply without looking blotchy. Whether or not this is true I still do not know 15 odd years later, but my habit has been set!Game of Chromes is a beautiful colour. Normally I avoid a polish this gold out of fear of it looking tacky, but there are a number of subtones to the colour that tone it down and cause it to look a mixture of silver, bronze and gold depending on how the light shines. Very much a statement polish still, but one that looks like it has been chosen by an adult! The polish is opaque enough that one coat will give you sufficient coverage, but I opted for two to get that added sparkle. Note you need quite a long drying time in this case.I tend to only use polish on my toes, and therefore I can't provide helpful comments on how resistant the polish is to daily chores such as washing up and typing. However it has lasted amazingly well on my toes compared to previous polishes I have used. Two weeks later and, except for my nails having grown a little, looks like I applied it yesterday. To be picky, the brush was slightly too large for my nails. My little toe nails needed more of a dot than a stroke! Certainly I would have struggled to do an accurate job on my fingers. However, this is common for me and I would rather the brush spread too far than did not cover my whole nail as it's not that hard to pick off the bits that get on the skin if needed. The polish did go on smoothly and very streak free. As mentioned before, I did two layers and it took a while for the first one to dry enough to attempt the second coat so had to flap round the house wiggling my feet like a mad lady for a while. The top coat was very good and seemed to really meld with the colour polish. Note that you get best results using this in sunlight as that sets the polish in the same way a UV lamp does for normal gel nails. Not the easiest when you're doing this on your toenails and don't have a garden, but I managed!Overall I'm very happy with this polish and think it's great to not need to go to the salon for a long lasting finish.

I was so excited to try out this miracle gel nail polish, considering I paint my nails twice a week (minimum) and my nails are constantly chipping from rubbing against the black jack table and cutting into chips at work. I was praying this was my solution to no-chip nails, without having to use harsh gels. The brush to the polish is very thick, so for me it was hard not to make a mess. I applied two coats of the color, and let them semi dry. The box to the polish doesn't have any directions besides to use the color first, so I wasn't sure if the gel coat had to be used on wet or completely dry polish. Since it was a little wet, I had some red coloring exchange to the top coat brush.I went outside to let my polish dry in the sun,and when it was completely dry (which didn't take long at all, which is a HUGE plus for me!), I cleaned up around my fingers with some acetone. Clean up was much easier than I expected. As for how long the polish lasts, on a good day I can make it through a whole shift without a chip, but come Saturday my nails definitely have chips. With this polish, on Saturday, which is my second shift, I had no chips. I could see minimum wear on the very tips of my nails.I had work the following two nights, and I STILL had no chips until late Monday night! Four days may not seem long, but in my job I would consider this a #MIRACLEMANI , especially for a drug store polish! And when I say chips, I mean two of my nails which are on my primarily used fingers, are chipped at the top, not even half way down.I did in a way expect this polish to not chip at all during those four days, but maybe my expectations were too high. That is the only reason for giving the effectiveness 4 stars. The color never faded, it was soo shiny for the entire four days.I can't wait to redo my nails today, and maybe with better application the second time around, I can get the manicure to last even longer! But to consumers I would definitely recommend using this polish. And to Sally Hansen, I would recommend clear, detailed directions, considering this UV-Free gel polish is a new world to us all!(Unfortunately my photos wouldn't upload but I have pictures from my day 1 mani to day 4)

COLORI've tried so many white nail polishes over the years and creme de la creme has become a new favorite. It’s not a harsh stark white, but a pale cool-toned pinky white. I have cool/neutral undertones to my skin, so it looks like the perfect soft white on me. If you have warm or olive undertones, it may look more pink on you. It’s very similar to sheer ecstasy from Sally Hansen's complete salon manicure line. Same color, but creme de la creme is more opaque and appears slightly pearlescent in the bottle.APPLICATIONVery easy to work with. The formula is self-leveling and totally opaque in 2-3 coats. No streaking or bald spots. Pretty average dry time, just a few minutes for each coat.My only complaint is that the brush on mine was cut unevenly, so I had to go in with scissors and fix it. Not a big deal though. Sally Hansen’s brushes in general are the best. They have a wide, rounded shape that make it easier to really get the brush up to the cuticle and paint the whole nail in only 1 or 2 swipes.STAYING POWERWithout the top coat, this polish has the same staying power as Sally Hansen’s regular nail polish. With the top coat, it lasts a little longer. It’s not bulletproof, but it lasted a few days before I even got any chips. For what it’s worth, I tend to fidget with my hands and nails a lot, so there are certain spots that always chip off no matter what. The hot water from taking showers and doing dishes contributed to that chipping as well. After a week, half my nails had chipped, while the other half still looked perfect. However, the chips were so small that I was able to touch up most of them individually as I noticed them. I got about a week and a half of wear (including touchups) before I had to take all the polish off and do my nails again. I wouldn’t call this nail polish a miracle, but it definitely chips less than regular nail polish. Overall, I am happy with it and I will buy it again when it runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this product was very good and I would definitely use it again. I like having gels but don't like the hassle of removing them and soaking off. Therefore this product got me excited that I could have the look and staying power of gels but in a polish that I could remove quickly and easily. I wasn't disappointed as for a nail polish it was very hard wearing and even after a week there were no chips and it hadn't faded.I loved the look of the bottle it was big and chunky and easy to grip and hold. The top was easy to hold between my fingers when applying.I think in a beauty counter the product would really stand out and I would be inclined to pick it up and look at it.The smell of the product was fine and it didn't smell really toxic like some nail polish can. I picked the colour because is was a vibrant summer shade and I go on holiday soon. The colour was the same on as it looked on the bottle which I was impressed with. It definitely needs at least two coats however as the first coat looked very thin and watery but as soon as it dried and I applied the second I found it gave great coverage. I loved the fact it was really shiny and especially with a layer of top coat it looked lovely and glossy. I can't wear colour on my fingers due to work but I have applied top coat to them and it makes my nails look lovely and shiny. However when I go on holiday I shall be putting this shade in my fingers the night before it's gorgeous!! It seems to have staying power and being quite a clumsy person I am forever banging and chipping my nails. I noticed that all the times I caught my nails over the last week I have looked down and expected to see a chip but there wasn't one. That's impressive.i will definitely buy these polishes again as I was so impressed with the fact it was hard wearing, had good resistance to chips and made my nails bright and glossy. Very good product.

Since the hope is to get 2 weeks of wear I should wait to review, but I'm excited and likely won't make it back here- so doing it now. Day 4.I am AMAZED at just how well this polish holds up. I am VERY hard on my nails, to the point I almost never bother with a mani. I have a pedi every month, but don't bother with my hands. I do projects around the house, I paint (art), etc etc.Well a few weeks ago I was attending an event and decided to get a Mani with my Pedi at the salon. I loved having pretty nails again....but they didn't even last 48 hours before they looked totally trashed. I took the polish off after 3 days. But I was determined to find something that would hold up to the beating I put my hands through.I ordered some Jamberry's. Did ok, but after about a week they where showing their wear. I took them off on day because we where going out and they where starting to look bad. I did a quick application of the SH no light Gel polish. I admit I wasn't prepared for how long the top coat took to dry, I ended up destroying 2 of my nails. I scraped off what I could of the polish in those spots, added 2 coats of color again (tried to keep it from touching the top coat, but only did a mediocre job) and then followed with the top coat again. I figured due to my mess up that those nails would look rough and wouldn't hold up well. They all look great!! I am now 4 days in. I'm so happy with the result. If I look closely I can see that there is a tiny bit of color worn off right at the tip of my nails, but that's it. In these 4 days I've showered countless times, worked out, washed my dog, assembled furniture, hung a flat screen TV, organized my kitchen. Like I said, I am ROUGH on nails. I'm not sure what to think of all of the negative reviews?! Make me wonder if mine adhered well because I had just used acetone to remove jamberry gunk? Who knows, but I am sold! I plan to update and mention how long they last overall.

I have been using Sally Hansen products for a while now and while I think this product is great, I'd still go for the Complete Salon set over this. I'll start with the claims/advertisements. The length of time they claim is "Up to 14 days". Many people mistake it for lasting 14 days but the reality of that statement is that it can potentially, that does not mean it can because the product can vary from person to person. When I gave it a go, this polish lasted about 5 days for me because on that fifth day, it had already started chipping badly. Applying the polish is a bit of a pain due to the streaking on solid colors. It (Literally) takes about 3, maybe 4, coats to get it opaque.I tried Game of Chromes, and that went on beautifully so not sure if it was my luck on a particular bottle but based on many YouTube videos (And personal experience), it seems that the streaking is accurate. I LOVE the wide brush. It is so accurate and helps to easily apply all around the contour of my nail. I'm glad Sally Hansen stayed with it. The easy removal is spot on. With 3 strokes with regular Acetone nail polish removal, the polish was coming off with little effort. I had no stains when removing the shades and my nails were strong and undamaged. The Top Coat worked well for smoothing out the polish for a clean finish but I also used the Diamond Flash Insta-Dri as well because that top coat added a brilliant shine and it is my top dog for smoothing the polish for a perfect finish. No base coat is necessary, in fact, applying a base coat will make it chip sooner. This needs to be applied to clean & dry nails. The time it took to dry does take a bit forever though. 30 minutes would go by and it felt like it could potentially smudge. Going outdoors with the sun out does help it to harden. Overall, it's a very neat and durable polish if you have the patience and "Me" time to apply it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are all aware of the procedure, open bottle of polish, allow one coat to dry, apply a second coat and then a top coat to seal it all in and then go about your business (usually after around two hours to make sure everything is fully dry and good to go) so when I set about painting my nails with this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish, I set myself a couple of hours where I didn't have to be anywhere or do anything and got ready to paint my nails with the gorgeous deep red colour I had chosen, I was initially impressed with shape of the brush, it had a good sized flat brush that made the painting process quicker and distributed the colour more evenly than the standard rounded brush that usually comes in nail varnish.I was even more impressed when I saw just how opaque the colour was with one sweep! Each coat dried really quickly and so I soon had all three coats applied (two colour coats and the top coat) and I was pleasantly pleased to find everything had hardened enough to allow me to go about my usual business within around 45 minutes which is much faster than my usual brand of polish - happy camper so far.My polish lasted for 4/5 days (after 4 days I noticed some minor wearing and on day 5 I got a chip on my index finger after an unfortunate run in with some barbed wire... but that's another story) without chipping and as I work a lot with my hands, that is amazing! Normally my nails chip within the first 5-6 hours of applying polish so to get 4/5 days without any chipping is unheard of for me. I'd always wondered if it would be worth investing in some gel polish as I'd always worried it was just another gimmick but I'm 100% converted..I'm really excited about this nail polish and I'm definitely going to be buying more shades and recommending my friends do the same!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Miracle Gel does make miracles! I paint my nails all the time and I even if I never buy cheap products, normally they don’t last me more than 3 days. I must say that I am impressed by the results of this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish. I received two bottles, one colour and one top coat. The bottles contain almost 15 ml of product (this is something that you should always also take into consideration as there are some brands that even sell bottles with only 7ml and you don’t even notice because of the nice package!) The brushes are also wider and makes it easier to apply the polish on your nails, you only need to be careful not to get too much of product or it will go all over your nails and so you will need to start all over again.I have already applied this varnish twice hoping that it would last 14 days as it was advertised but that didn’t happen in my case. However, the results were still very good. First time I polished my nails with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, I started to see minor wear at the edge on the third day and tiny little chips on the fourth day. On the 5th day I took it off as I thought my nails didn’t look good anymore. The second time I applied it I managed to make it last longer by applying the top coat other 3 times during the week. Overall, I wore it for 7 days!!! That’s an impressive result for me!I must say that I work in an office and I am on my laptop all day so my job is not impacting much on my nails but still I had extraordinary results if I compare it to the other polishes I used so far. Next time I will also try to apply two coats instead of one and hopefully I will make it last even longer! I will surely buy more colors for myself and everyone should absolutely try this product! Thanks Sally Hansen!

I often use uv soak off gels (the kind that need a lamp to dry.) I really like the long wear of those and the quick curing without waiting for air drying time. However, the time you save putting that one, you more than make up for trying to get that crap off (I have my natural nails.) So other times I like plain old wipe off polishes. It is so much faster to wipe it off and change color than the commitment with the soak off (I am NOT taking that off every few days!)This "gel" polish is quite nice. It lasts so much longer than typical nail polishes and leaves a smooth coat. The Terra-Coppa color I got is super pretty, with tiny glitter and almost a copper color. It isn't like those buff-in powders that will leave you with a chrome finish, but it is a more glittery/frosty finish. VERY pretty for summer (epsecially with a little tan color in your skin.) It is coppery enough that it is also a nice autumn or holiday color, too.Regular acetone/remover will take this off. I do hold a soaked cotton ball on the nail for a little to soften it, then wipe. That seems to work best for glitters. I had a Sally Hansen gel top coat from another set I purchased a while ago, so I used that as a top coat. I think you could probably get away with no top coat at all if you plan on changing it in a few days. I don't always have time to wait for polish to dry, then do a top coat, and then wait for it to dry so I will skip it. I don't know how other brands of top coats will work with this, but I often will just grab any kind and see. I have never had one wrinkle or peel or anything, but do know that some ingredients are made to work with others more effectively. If you don't feel like buying this brand top coat, but do want one, try what you have and see. If you don't like the results, just take it off.

This Boho go go is a dark deep fuschia-aubergine colour with black and reddy tones, very Autumn-winter and as with most Sally Hansen products it comes with the excellent flat squoval brush that is becoming more standard across good nail polish ranges now. Across the range the formula is hit and miss but MUST be paired with the top coat, this is NOT designed to be used without the sunlight cure top coat and with the top coat lasts in my experience for at least 6 days if you pucker the undercoat and longer with a perfectly smooth application..First of all I love the flat squoval brush it's much easier to neatly apply your nail polish in long effective strokes as the design tends to be smoother and less blobby and also discourages the user from the 'dabbing'method that results in poor finish.the formula is much better than the awful Pinky promise I also trialled, I think the gelly bold colours are a better formula than the pastels but then some pastels are better than others, The application is very smooth but takes a touch longer than my usual brands of fresh polish take to dry. I needed 1 thin coat to get a pretty ever so slightly translucent dark fuschia and 2 thin coats to achieve opacity which dried quickly and much darker than 1 coat did. Some may prefer the sheer look with their tips showing through but if I'm wearing a colour I personally want opacity. It will chip easily without the gel cure topcoat it has absolutely no longevity but then it's designed to be a two part system not an optional extra so judging it's longevity without is frankly silly. The gel topcoat certainly gives extended wear (as long as you sunlight cure it before going to bed!) and overall is a much better experience than I had with pastel pinky promise, would definitely try this style again.

I am a stay at home mom with two little ones. I don't have time nor the patience to sit at a nail salon for over an hour to get my nails done. I am always washing something or someone so my hands are always touching water. Because of that my manicure starts to chip or peel a few days after I get my nails done. I do feel like money has been wasted. So I purchased this product in hopes that the claims are true as well as to do my nails on my own when the children are in bed at the end of the day. I ordered the"Street Flair" polish. I washed my hands and then used nail polish remover to make sure that my nails are clean and oil free. ( I use a lot of hand lotion)This polish does seem a bit thin than other polishes but it dries super fast so I can quickly move on to a second coat. I follow that with 2 coats of the clear top coat (letting each coat dry in between).I did not alter my routine by one bit. My nail color looked great for a full 7 days EVEN with all the hand and people washing! The high gloss on my nails were a bit dull so I just put another coat of clear on and they looked good as the first day I put the color on. By day 9 I did start to see some chipping and the very edge of the nail but no peeling. I just touched it up and another coat of clear polish and like new again! A day or so later I started to notice cracks and more chips on my nails. I think it was because I am hard on my nail along with many layers of clearpolish that were on my nails now. It did not matter anyway because I was now getting tired of the color. The color did not last 14 days as advertised but it did last a lot longer compared to when my nails are done at a salon. I am perfectly happy with this product. So much so I purchased wine stock. I cannot wait to try it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took my time to try the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel 2-step nail polish and top coat in two different situations to put it to the ultimate test. Personally, nail polishes seem to chip on my nails even after a day, especially when I'm working, so I've always been quite sceptical when a nail polish claims to last an 'X' number of days. Application-wise, it went on very smoothly in a couple of strokes and I didn't think it took too long to dry. I was quite pleased with it's high shine finish and gel like appearance. The first test was wearing the polish to work. I must mention that for my job as cabin crew, none of the nail polishes that I own completely survive without a single chip after a 12 hour shift. Not even when I used to get soft and hard gel nails done.I was pleased to see that after a busy flight, there were only a couple of casualties. The best thing was that somehow, they didn't catch on everything and chip even more, which I thought was pretty impressive as that is one of my pet peeves! For the second test, I had a week off work so I thought why not try it out to see if it will last that long. I had chipped the forefingers by the second day, so I think I can't really blame work for the longevity of my manicures anymore but just accept that I'm probably not the most elegant and careful person when I'm using my hands! The nail polish is still going strong after a week with no further chips and the high shine is still there.I gave it 4 stars as it does still chip a little and for it to last 2 weeks is stretching it a bit.Overall, I'm fairly impressed with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish (I have the shade 'Tipsy Gyspy') and will consider purchasing more colours from the range.

This is the top coat of the Sally Hansen gel system designed to go on top and 'cure' the associated colours using sunlight without need for LED or UV curing lights. It has the excellent 'squoval' flat brush that helps give even application, I much much prefer this type of brush as it makes a massive difference to your manicure. This goes on nicely but unless immediately sunlight cured it can pucker easily, I would recommend painting in daylight as it will massively speed your experience, I painted in the evening and got the dreaded sheet marks as it wasn't quite set due to no exposure to UV/sunlight.Painted on top of the Sally Hansen gel colour my right (dominant)hand lasted 5 days before it shattered near the tip on two nails, but the left hand was still perfect with no signs of deterioration. I'll admit my right hand was badly painted due to four coats of the colour coat required and my losing my patience and painting over. The shattered section was indeed bits that had badly puckered and my left hand was perfectly applied so I reckon this could go far longer... I've cleaned, washed my hair, cooked, typed and more and it was only on day 5 that the already damaged section finally gave way and the undamaged sections are still fine. However I have lost patience again (like many nail varnish lovers) and want to change the polish up.I reckon this would be perfect applied on a Sunday afternoon to last a perfect manicure all week to change up again the next weekend.Overall this is a great contender to my favourite Barry M system mostly because it has a much better and fashion-led range of colours in the colour polish selections than Barry M Daylight curing, it costs more but it's worth it if you find a colour you love.
