WOW! After only 10 days of using this nail oil, my nails are stronger and are actually looking longer. For about a year, my nails have been so soft that they have ripped and broken constantly and fine tasks like threading a needle or scratching have been impossible. It's been so bad that I have had to keep nail clippers in a pocket to trim the rough edges, and I have tried so many products such as dietary supplements and creams and strengtheners but nothing has improved them until now. It has been just like having no nails at all.The name " Color Therapy" is a bit misleading because there is no colour in this oil. It is quite liquid--so it's not like a varnish, and after application the only difference I could see is that my nails look less dry. It dries quickly and it doesn't matter how messy you are with the application because the cuticles will get the benefit of the oil as well. The applicator is a soft, rounded brush which is easy to use.I have tried Argan oil before on my nails and it didn't improve them but this either contains other strengtheners or it is a much better quality oil because it is working so well. An immovable sticky label covers the label on the back of my bottle, so I can't tell you exactly what's in it.I apply the oil at bedtime so that it has all night to soak in (and it doesn't leave marks on the bed linen) and again after my morning shower. Occasionally, I apply more if I have had my hands in water for a while. The level of liquid in the bottle has hardly dropped after so much use, so this is an economical buy.It is truly wonderful to have nails growing beyond the skin again--many thanks for a great product Sally!

I have been using this system for a while now with the result that my nails are the best they have ever been. This cuticle oil is so delicate and fine that it penetrates the skin and really softens up the cuticles but it also keeps the nails hydrated and flexible. This bottle lasts for absolutely ages too, even when wearing every day.I use this along with the Sally Hansen Colour Therapy polish and top coat as a system and it is absolutely fantastic. You do not need a base coat as the polish and top coat is infused with Argan oil and other nourishing ingredients. They are able to penetrate the nail plate to strengthen and improve your nails as you wear it. After applying 2 coats, you then apply top coat and when completely dry, apply this cuticle oil a few times daily. Now as if this is not wonderful enough, to get really healthy, long nails but even better is that this polish stays on for about a week without chipping or peeling. No nail polish ever lasts that long with me. This stuff really is perfect in every way.

The first thing you need to know about Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail and Cuticle Elixir is a little goes a long way.It its heart is argan oil and that stuff really spreads. So the first thing to do is to use a minimal amount and then see just how well it spreads.Argan oil is the new wonder kid on the block for moisturising. It's an old if not ancient oil that has been 'rediscovered' and resold big time. The big question to use that over worked adjective is 'Is it any good?'I'm pleased to say it is excelent. My wife (bless) insists on washing stuff by hand without wearing gloves and this has an adverse effect on her nails. They are chipping and breaking far too easil. She needs help and this liquiddelivers in spades. You have to take care to use a tiny amount and spread it in.If you use too much all you will do is wipe it away or rinse it down the sink. The effects are instant and my wife's nails looked instantly better. Some recommendation.

I've had a few nail oils in the past, but this genuinely is the best I've used so far. I don't generally wear nail varnish, but I do like to keep my nails relatively tidy - which means the cuticle beds as well as being neatly filed. Using an oil like this each evening really helps, and means that I generally don't have to do much else. If I do ever go to a nail salon, they're always surprised that I really don't have any cuticles to speak of, and that my nails are in great condition. So why this one? The brush is short but gives a nice wide coverage. No need to coat the whole nail in my experience, but this does help. It's a lovely consistency, so isn't going to run all over the place.I'm safe even using this without rubbing in much and then using my keyboard. I do tend to use it at night so it has a chance to soak, but if I forget it's nice to use at any time. And it smells nice!

Sally Hansen Nail Care Color Therapy Nail and Cuticle elixir is a lovely nail oil to use and I say this because it did not take ages for me to fully massage the product fully into my nails. As recommended I apply daily and with the short brush which is based on the end of the applicator makes it easy to apply as with the short brush, it only applies a small amount, I find a small dot of the product on each nail is adequate to fully quench my nails with this very enriching nail health product.I have already noticed an improvement with only using the product for seven days as my nails are less dry, cuticles are enriched with oil therefore not causing me pain and strife - for me personally,it is one of the best nail oils I have used in a long time.Sally Hansen Nail Care Color Therapy Nail and cuticle Elixir is certainly a nail oil which works.Happy to recommend.

With my nails paying the price for a hands on life, this seemed an ideal item for me when offered it for review. It's easy to apply, isn't thick or gloopy and is meant to soak into the nails and cuticles. I found that even after straining the excess in the inside of the rim, the brush still apply too much of the product to rub in without getting it all over you.It contains argan oil but Ive no idea just how much is in this product. That said, this brand has long since been revered to be the market leader in nail care products. Its smell is light and pleasent. It doesn't stain fabrics and takes moments to apply.Time will tell if it makes a real difference to my cuticles and nail strength but so far I must say I quite like the nourushing effect it seems to have on each nail.

I suffer from dry hands and as a result my nails and cuticles often look terrible. I am always trying out new hand creams and oils to improve the skin. This Sally Hansen elixir is really good at providing much needed moisture to dry nails and cuticles. It is a small bottle, so great for popping in a bag or bedside cabinet, and you don't need much of the oil, a tiny amount goes a long way. The elixir comes with a little brush applicator inside the bottle which makes applying it very easy. The elixir has a pleasant, minimal scent which seemed slightly vanilla. So far, results have been good: my cuticles look more nourished, and the dry white skin around my nails has minimised and gone back to looking pinker.Overall my skin and nails look much fresher and healthier.

A moisturising nourishing oil that promotes strong and resilient nails, this product looks like a nail polish but is just a nice thin oil that is applied over the nail and cuticles with a nail polish type brush - very easy application and nice small size to fit into your handbag. The oil is thin so doesn't feel too heavy on the skin, one dip of the brush is enough to cover one hands worth of nail so this product lasts a while, it also smells likely of sweet almond oil. Once applied I'd rub into nails/cuticles and then paint clear base coat over the top, nails looked great and I did find my nails grew better than without so I would recommend. The only downside is the price, the current price of £11.49 is more than I'd be willing to pay.

I was a little bit sceptical when this product arrived in its attractive glass bottle: I could not imagine that oil could be so effective on nails. The first thing I noticed is that this elixir is made with argan oil and I know from first-hand experience, how amazing argan oil is when applied to dry skin. I thought I would give the elixir a test on my toe nails which are usually quite neglected and dry. Amazingly this nail and cuticle elixir lent an immediate shine to my toe nails and they are now looking a whole lot healthier than before the product was applied. The oil massaged in well and moisturised: I am impressed. This is a winner!

This is easy to use just apply using the applicator to nails and massage in then wash in warm water. Not a highly scented fragrance to it and the texture when massaging into cuticles and nail bed feels slightly gritty not coarse but not dead smooth either. For the price about the same as brand I already use. Would buy this when run out of usual brand as it does seem to leave my nails feeling nourished even after a metallic polish that makes my nails feel a little flaky after removing. My cuticles do seem to have soften up after using this a couple of times so would say it’s worked for me.

Very thin consistency, I found it best to use the included applicator to put a dab on each nail then go back and cover the nails. That way I got an even amount on each nail. I found it took several minutes for even the thinnest application to be absorbed, leaving nails the slightest sheen. Men could use this without anyone thinking they had nail polish on. The product is colourless, so wont mark clothes.Very slight aroma, possibly vanilla, but you have to put nail right to your nose to detect this.I shall be using regularly.

I don't have a problem growing my nails, I take a biotin supplement and they grow so quickly, the problem is they often break and don't look very smooth. This Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail and Cuticle Elixir has helped with this, even after one week. Contains Argan oil which moisturises and protects the nail. Use daily, massage in to each nail and then wash off - easy! This is a little bit expensive but will last a long time and I can see that it is working already.

I find it hard to review this as, after two weeks of assiduous use, I really can’t see any difference in my nails or cuticles. However I love the smell of the oil, and I find applying it last thing at night quite soothing and relaxing. Just using the oil has made me more assiduous about moisturising my hands, which must be a good, thing. And the smell is truly lovely - hard to describe, but delicious. You only need a tiny amount, so one bottle should last for months.

This is a nail oil and not a nail varnish. Its very easy to apply, it isn't too thick and it soaks into the nails and cuticles well and quite quickly. It has a pleasant faint aroma.I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and I have noticed that my nails do not seem so brittle and they look healthier. I will be interested to see the further effect over the next couple of weeks.I like Sally Hansen nail products and this is another good one.

This is easy to apply as it is like a conventional nail polish application. The argan oil must have something added which is grainy as it feels more than just greasy, and it has quite a distinct oerfume different to argan oil. I own several argan products including plain oil and would recommend that over this bur for the fact this is easier to apply. The grainyness however is unwelcome when massaging in its not very nice a sensation.
