My expectations of this nail polish were high, and at first, I wasn't overly impressed. I thought it was no better than a regular nail polish, however, I take that thought back! It has lasted a week, and it IS shiny:) The only thing is, it kind of wears off the top of the nails, or it could be that my nails were just growing. I needed to apply 2 coats for a smooth effect, and next time, I will apply a top coat. It dries very quickly and is a good quality nail polish. The service was really good from the seller, as well. I chose the 'Hollywood' shade, which is a deep red colour, very rich and glossy. I have bought a pink one too,as over all, it's a relatively good performer, compared to other ones I've tried.

I first came across this polish when I had a pedicure at the spa - that lasted amazingly well so I knew the polish was good and that it would be user error if I bought some that didn't last! I have it in three different colours and also the weekly top coat, I use it mainly on my toes and I find this polish fantastic! It goes on easily, I find you need fairly thick coats, I always use two coats plus the special weekly top coat and it lasts on my toes literally for weeks, it easily last four weeks then I take it off because the nail has grown! It survived the spa and holiday with no problems. I do occasionally use it in my finger nails and it doesn't seem to last as well but as I said I'm not an expert at applying and it lasts fine for the night out and a few days before I take it off.

I cleaned my nails and nourished them with Jojoba oil ,then sat and let it sink in for half an hour. I found the brush to be very full. A good shape to it but you do need to take of excess varnish prior to application and ensure the brush is properly shaped. First coat appeared a little thin which was what I wanted. Do not apply the 2nd coat until the first one is FULLY dry. One of my nails wasn't dry and it dragged with the 2nd coat which meant I had to remove it and reapply. When both coats fully dry I applied a thin top coat ensuring that I had capped the nail properly to seal the colour. My nails are very weak and brittle so I have to be sure to do this.

This is the second Vinylux colour that I've tried, I love them! Both of the colours were a slightly different colour than they appeared in the picture which I would say is the only downfall, but still worth 5 stars! Tango passion is slightly darker and has a shimmer which I personally cannot see in the photo, but still a beautiful colour! The last application of the previous colour lasted 5 days on me, but my hands work hard as I'm constantly washing up, cleaning, doing up zips and poppers for my children etc! I could have gotten away with another day, but I wanted to try this new colour and I had a little bit of tip wear/slight cracking to the top coat, but only I would have noticed that probably!

A silvery sparkly polish - it is a bit less green than it looks on the picture. It lasted 5 days before it began to wear off - it didn't chip. I touched it up and it lasted the rest of the week.Because it is a sparkly polish it is stubborn to remove, but it did come off with normal nail polish remover.I am not particularly careful with my nails and standard polish usually chips within 2 days, so I am really pleased with this.It doesn't last like a professional gel manicure, but there again. it doesn't damage your nails either.It is very quick drying and the fact that it doesn't need a base coat is a bonus.With normal polish my nails will peel if I don't use a base coat but I have not had this

I love nail varnish and am so lucky to have great natural nails. I decided to treat myself to a proper manicure a month ago and they use this varnish....I had never heard of it before. I do all my own housework and only wear rubber gloves for harsh cleaning jobs. I do all my own gardening and have a large garden for which I do wear gloves for most jobs. I also look after other people's animals, so mucking out horses and chickens etc I have just been back for a mini manicure, four weeks on. The polish was a bit worn at the tips and obviously missing from the top as the nails had grown but had not chipped.

I bought this on the strength of reviews across the Internet, although with the expectation it would be no different to the better polishes in the high street. ( I do use UV gel polish but sometimes the effort to remove is too much for the length of wear you get.) I wanted a sheer colour as I have short nails and strong colours accentuate the lack of nail. This is a beautiful sheer pink, with a slight blue to it, and the tiniest hint of a shimmer. Two coats gives a light tint on the nail making them look well manicured , three coats gives a slightly more solid feel. I prefer two coats and that still gives strength to my soft and weak nails . Despite doing DIY, cleaning etc without gloves,

I very rarely wear nail varnish as it chips so quickly I can't be bothered with the messing about but as I had a wedding to go to I really wanted to have nice looking nails. I have in the past had Gellish and similar type gel nails. Although I have loved the results I didn't love the very weak nails I was left with after removing the gel nails. Vinylux is the perfect alternative. Although it didnt last a complete week I got a good 5 days with barely any wear or chipping and still with a high gloss finish. Very easy to remove with normal varnish remover with no damage at all to my nails. I am very impressed and at the price will definitely be buying more colours in the future.

I am used to Shellac gel nails and only if pushed do I use ordinary nail polishes as they last such a short time. All that has changed with this product. It really is a game changer. The polishes are applied to bare nails then the special top coat goes on. I am hard on my nails and work for a living but my nails last at least 5 days and the only reason I take the polish off is because the tips are starting to wear away (not chip). The polish comes off with any remover. I have binned my old nail varnishes as they don't compare. One wee warning - it is not as long lasting as shellac but significantly cheaper and I can do it myself so financially it is brilliant.

This is the second week that I have used this product and after 7 days it looks almost as if I have just applied it. It is certainly the best nail varnish I have ever used and believe me I have tried everything on my nails. My nails are not the best but it really stays on. If it does wear off a little bit on the edges it only has to be gently buffed and touched up and another top coat applied. I have done this on only one nail. I think another top coat after a few days is a good idea and keeps them bright and shiny looking.A big plus is also the fact that it does not damage the natural nailI would certainly recommend this product.

I haven't given this a five star rating as it doesn't last for 7 days. I have even used rubber gloves to protect my nails. For me, it lasts 3 full days then starts to chip. I could get away with 4 days. I still like it as it is better than ordinary nailvarnish as long as you put on the top coat that goes with it and the colour is lovely. I don't want to go down the road of Shellac nails or gel nails. CND varnish does not harm your nails. When I remove it, I wash and oil my nails, then after I shower I put on a new coat or varnish and top coat. I will continue to use it as it really is better than ordinary nail varnish.

This is the first time I have used Vinylux but it was recommended by a beauty therapist friend so thought I'd give it a go. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it...the colour is a lovely, deep rich burgundy, it goes on really smoothly and neatly ( a bonus for someone with a dodgy shaky hand like me!) and dries incredibly quickly to a smooth, glossy sheen. I've given it 4 stars not 5 mainly because I don't think it lives up to it's 7day claim...more like 3 or 4...which is still amazing for someone like me whose hands get a hard time in and out of water, I'll definitely be buying more colours

Amazing! Finally a nail polish that does what it says it does! Love having manicured nails and love doing them myself but since becoming a mum I haven't had any polish last longer than a day or so before it was mega chipped, usually use Maybalene 7 day polish which is the best I had found on the highstreet but this (along with CND topcoat) is great and my nails still look great! I had to re polish 6 days in but they weren't looking to bad just two small chips. Lovely taupe colour. Definitely recommend, will be buying more colours asap! (Great price for salon style polish and quick delivery)

This stuff is amazing. I found shellac made my nails flaky after several applications/ removals so have up entirely on nail varnish. I have used opi before but find it takes so long to dry I often end up spoiling it immediately. This dries to a completely solid finish in less than ten mins, I was even able to have a shower and wash my hair it as that solid! I don't know what the other reviewers have done but after 5 days it still looks immaculate and best of all , it comes off with normal remover so no damage to my nails! I'll be buying more colours... I am a complete convert!!!

CND Vinylux is a revolution! It truly does last for at least a week. One reviewer said it doesn't but I wonder whether they used it with the CND top coat, which I believe you must. The colours are just like the Shelac colours and I will never go back to Shelac as it ruined my nails after months and months of using and removing it. With this product you just use nail varnish remover - I use the CND brand one as well. This red is lovely and bright but I love so many of their colours and use the natural ones more. Love, love, love this product!
