I like this range from Sally Hansen that throws the kitchen sink into one bottle with base, colour, top coat plus strengthener, growth treatment and chip resistance this is a gorgeous offering from the collection with outstanding rich colour and consistency and good wear for having no locking top coat. For extra longevity I would be tempted to see how it performs under a Daylight-cure gel top coat. The colour of Cherry cherry bang bang is not really cherry but a raspberry- fuschia blue toned pink slightly muted to take the 'edge' of so it is much softer than the summer hot fuschias, a gorgeous colour if you like your nails making a statement and BEAUTIFUL for autumn winter .I love fuschia-raspberry polishes but I especially like this colour for its muted tones making it more wearable in the colder months, but for those who are intimidated by the darker colours it's a much easier colour to wear for a pop of bright without standing out too much. I will certainly alternate this throughout this autumn and winter with pat on the black AND I will repurchase this gorgeous colour. The formulation of Cherry cherry bang bang is creamy, slightly gelly and consistent and achieved almost perfection in one coat but needed a second for true opacity, however if you like a semi sheer look this would be a one coat wonder. Unlike most nail polishes today it is pretty quick to dry fully meaning my manicure was complete quickly and set without too much sitting around. It dries shiny but not as glossy as some others in the collection. This one also self levels better than others in the range meaning you get an even opacity and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience.I was impressed at getting 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting tip wear, of which was not wearable due to the brightness of colour making wear and chips obvious though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good considering no top coat and the other treatments.Overall I love this colour, it's perfect for Autumn-winter in its muted pop of colour however you have to factor in it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you won't apply and base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary for a traditional manicure. In all I will buy this colour again and if not in the gel range then try it with a daylight cure gel top coat for added longevity.

This colour Society Ruler from Sally Hansen is part of the new seasonal release, it is a cherry wine-burgundy and as the title suggests, if you have a collection of nail polish bottles that diversifies beyond nudes you probably have this colour already. Is it worth it? If you have a full bottle of a similar colour that works for you in formula, finish and longevity then no. If you cannot repurchase a beloved formula, if this colour in another brand doesn't work for you or you are trying out a dark colour for the first time this is a great choice.I like this range from Sally Hansen, it really throws the kitchen sink into one bottle with base, colour, top coat plus strengthener, growth treatment and chip resistance altogether. The colour of Society Ruler is a typical cherry or burgundy deep red that is seen as a staple in every range, although this is a good example with a cool rather than reddy-orange tone and leaning blue-violet rather than brown. This is a favourite staple colour for a reason, it's a great statement especially in autumn winter without looking too out-there with less 'traditional' colours, but it is a perfect shade that looks gorgeous on anyone. The formulation of Society Ruler is smooth, resembles the application of a thin gel and doesn't streak, this would be a one coat wonder if you don't mind a bit of sheer, but was fully opaque in two. It is pretty quick to dry but didn't quite set meaning 30 mins after application rocking my baby to sleep meant I got slippage but not smearing on my dominant hand. This one self levels brilliantly meaning you get an even opacity and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience.Taking the slippage out of the picture, I only got at getting 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting shards at the tip though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good for any non UV polish considering no top coat.Overall I love this colour, it's rich, dark and a must have colour that is bold but classy however you have to factor in it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you won't apply and base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary for a traditional manicure. In all I will buy this colour again, and I would probably seek out this version of it.

The colour of Nightwatch is a real midnight blue (see second pic with flower in corner for 2 coats) with a slight grey hint rather than a crayola dark blue a great colour if you like your nails making a statement and BEAUTIFUL for autumn winter . If you like dark polishes this is an OMG I love it colour, but for those who are intimidated by the darker colours it's surprisingly an easy to wear colour. I will certainly wear this throughout this autumn and winter AND I will repurchase this gorgeous colour. The formulation of Nightwatch is silky, gel-like and consistent and achieved almost perfection in one coat with an inky blue just a tad darker than Parker fountain pen ink to the nails(see picture without flower in corner) but needed a second for true opacity (see picture with flower) and a true night sky midnight blue, however if you like a semi sheer look this would be a one coat wonder. Unlike most nail polishes today it is pretty quick to dry fully meaning my manicure was complete quickly and set without too much sitting around.it is super shiny compared to some others in the collection. This one self levels better than others in the range meaning you get an even opacity and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience.I only got at getting 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting shards at the tip though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good considering no top coat and the other treatments.Overall I love this colour, it's rich, dark and perfect for Autumn-winter however you have to factor in it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you won't apply and base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary for a traditional manicure. In all I will buy this colour again and if not in the gel range then try it with a daylight cure gel top coat for added longevity.

Sally Hansen is a well known for their very effective Hard as Nails treatment to improve the strength of your nails, but I've never used their coloured polishes before.THE BOTTLEThe presentation of this nail varnish is smart enough but not overly fashionable. It's a heavy glass bottle with a decent sized lid (doubling as an applicator brush as usual). 14.7ml as is pretty standard for nail varnishes but it looks a bit bigger due to the heavy glass base.APPLICATIONThis nail varnish is very easy to use. You can tell it's better quality as it glides on smoothly without leaving any brush strokes like you can with poor quality varnishes. The brush is relatively large but not so big that it makes application difficult.I can quite easily do all my nails without getting a single bit of polish on my cuticles. It dries relatively quickly and then I apply a second coat.THE EFFECTAfter 2 coats it looks amazing! It has a deep mirror shine in a beautiful metallic rose gold shade. I'm really impressed with it and it looks completely flawless. When it's fully dry it almost still looks wet, since it's very shiny and shimmery. It's thick and provides full coverage with no sign of your nail underneath.DOES IT LAST?It depends what you're used to as to how impressed you'll be. I usually aim to have perfect nails for 2 days and then expect them to go downhill. This nail varnish typically lasts around 2-3 days looking great. It definitely lasts better than other nail varnishes I own (Rimmel, Nails Inc, Jessica). After 5 days my nails are always significantly chipped and this is still true with this varnish (but I regularly have very hot baths, go swimming, do washing up, type in a keyboard a lot) so I don't really expect anything other than gel nails to withstand these types of activity. As long as I can get a weekend's wear from a nail varnish I consider it a success. It's easy to remove with normal nail varnish remover and leaves no staining (something I dislike in a varnish).WOULD I BUY IT?Yes I definitely would buy more from this range and would have been happy to pay full price for this had I not received it as a free Amazon Vine sample for review.

This creme nail polish colour Mauvin' on up from Sally Hansen is not the purple-brown that mauve suggests, instead it is a pink-peachy-nude, not dissimilar to calamine lotion if I'm honest.Surprisingly it's not a bad colour on, and loses some of its 'chickenpox cream' hue with drying and resembles a 'flesh colour' felt tip, a peachy sorbet colour that would look great on tanned-dark complexions but doesn't look bad on my super pale cool skin.Is it worth it? If want a pastel peach creme (we are headed to spring after all) that goes opaque in two coats (hooray) and has decent longevity without a top coat, this is an excellent choice.I like this range from Sally Hansen,it really throws the kitchen sink into one bottle with base, colour, top coat plus strengthener, growth treatment and chip resistance altogether. The formulation of Mauvin' on up is smooth, resembles the application of a thin gel but us a creme and doesn't streak, this would be a one coat wonder if you don't mind a bit of sheer, but was fully opaque in two. It is pretty quick to dry but needs longer to set fully. This one self levels pretty well meaning you get an even opacity if you don't just completely slap it on and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience. But if you've ridges the creme formula makes them pretty obvious so buff prior.Taking the slippage out of the picture, I got 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting shards at the tip though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good for any non UV polish considering no top coat.Overall I don't love this colour, but it's not a bad one to have in your collection as it could wear from spring to early autumn well however you have to factor in it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you don't have time for a base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary for a traditional manicure.

It would appear that both the Aflorable and Back to the Fuchsia colours have been joined onto the same product page. I have both colours and so my review below is for both of them. There is a total of 7 different colour shades on this product page and the reviews will be mixed between them so it is worth seeing at the top of each review which colour has been reviewed. Just to clarify that I have not tested any of the other shades and so my review is purely for the two colours Aflorable and Back to the Fuchsia.I have only recently discovered Sally Hansen products and nail varnish after being offered some colours to use and review and I really like these 7 in 1 nail polishes. The only reason I have deducted a star from my marking is that both nail varnishes did not last anywhere near the "up to 10 days" that the product page advises but they did last almost 3 days before chips appeared on the edges of my nails. The colour Aflorable is a bright baby doll pink that would look perfect with a summer tan but could obviously be used all year. The colour Back to the Fuchsia is not a shade I would initially have picked up from the shelf if shopping in a store but after trying this for the last few weeks with some of the other shades I have been trying out this is easily one of my favourite shades now and dries to a sort of raspberry pink shade and appears to have a very slight shine to it too. Both nail varnishes apply well and they both definitely need 2 coats to get the desired shade and coverage. The applicator brushes are the same and are a decent size and they do spread the varnish evenly. Both bottles contains 14.7ml and they can be used for up to 30months from opening. I really like that these Sally Hansen polishes includes both the base and top coat along with a nail strengthener. I've had a few colours to try out of this range and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future and most definitely the Back to the Fuchsia shade.

I like this range from Sally Hansen that throws the kitchen sink into one bottle with base, colour, top coat plus strengthener, growth treatment and chip resistance this is a better offering from the collection with excellent coverage and consistency and good wear for having no locking top coat. For extra longevity I would be tempted to see how it performs under a Daylight-cure gel top coat. The colour of Sgt Preppy is a pleasant muted soft mauve-pink that is gentle and inoffensive, a great colour if you like your nails to be neat and painted but not making a statement whether for personal style or professional reasons. It not an OMG I love it colour, but it's certainly an easy to wear colour that I can see myself using up.The formulation of Sgt Preppy is creamy and consistent and achieved almost perfection in one coat but needed a second for true opacity, however if you aren't fussy like me or like a semi sheer look this would be a one coat wonder. Unlike most nail polishes today it is pretty quick to dry fully meaning my manicure was complete quickly and set without too much sitting around..This one self levels better than others in the range meaning you get an even opacity and does have a nice brush making application an easy experience.I was impressed at getting 3 days wear out of this nail polish before getting tip wear, of which was still wearable but the fourth day had shards wearing from the tips, though results across the range vary in severity but an average of 3-4 days is pretty good considering no top coat and the other treatments.Overall I like but don't love this colour, it doesn't save time, nor last as long as their gel range BUT is nourishing to the nail and a good compromise if you know you won't apply and base and top coat AND the coats of colour necessary.

4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.I've worn this polish for over 24 hours now at the time of writing this review and it's stood up to everything without a chip, so far. Mine arrived with no box, just in a bubblewrap. The Sally Hansen website has simple straightforward instructions, as does the product description here.Apply a coat to clean dry nails, wait 2-3 minutes, apply a second coat, let it dry. I'd advise a third coat to be honest, if you want confidence on how long this will last but basically that's it.There's no need to apply a base coat, no need for a separate bottle of top coat, it's just all here in the one bottle. The bottle is the standard Sally Hansen design, a square, heavy glass base for stability and a slightly rounded bottom to make it easy to use every scrap of the product. Likewise, the brush is short, flat and easy to control, as it is in all the Sally Hansen bottles. The top of the bottle had a sticker advising that this was a New Formula. Having used Sally Hansen products on and off for a while, I'm not sure what the improvements are supposed to be.The polish itself is fairly thin, but not so thin that you can't control the application well. I was quite pleased with the coverage that I got with the first and second coats, but decided on an extra coat as I really like the look and wanted to keep it on for a while.Whilst 2 coats are what is recommended, my wanting to keep the colour on for more than a day or two overruled these recommendations.230 Nude Now is as realistic a nude shade as I've seen anywhere - I'm Caucasian -, great if you want a natural look for everyday wear, that will match with absolutely everything you put on. If you want to give a polish as a present, you wouldn't go far wrong with this.

This is not a shade that I would have usually picked for myself if I had been shopping for example in a beauty store for nail varnish and I am very glad that I selected this colour as I absolutely love the shade which is a sort of purple pink colour and now a new favourite shade for me. If you are thinking of painting one nail a different colour on each hand then this shade alongside the Pat On The Back nail varnish looks absolutely wonderful and the colours compliment each other brilliantly.I have only recently discovered Sally Hansen products and nail varnish after being offered some colours to use and review and I really like these 7 in 1 nail polishes.I have been deducting a star from my markings because all of the nail varnishes do not last anywhere near the "up to 10 days" that the product pages advise and instead last around 3 days each before slight chips appeared on the edges of my nails but I love this shade and so I am going with the Amazon marking of 5 stars meaning "I love it" so do be warned that it is unlikely to last 10 days. The nail varnish itself applies easily and very well and in fact is one of the easier colour applications. The applicator brush is a decent size and does spread the varnish evenly. The bottle contains 14.7ml and it can be used for up to 30months from opening. The shade is gorgeous and a lovely berry shade with a tint of blue/purple to darken it slightly. I really like that the polish includes both the base and top coat along with a nail strengthener. You do however definitely need the 2 coats to get a non-transparent colour on your nail. I've had a few colours to try out of the Sally Hansen nail varnish and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

It would appear that both the Firey Island and Peach of Cake colours have been joined onto the same product page. I have both colours and so my review below is for both of them.I have only recently discovered Sally Hansen products and nail varnish after being offered some colours to use and review and I really like these 7 in 1 nail polishes. The only reason I have deducted a star from my marking is that both nail varnishes did not last anywhere near the "up to 10 days" that the product page advises but they did last almost 3 days before chips appeared on the edges of my nails. The colour Firey Island is a bright orange shade which is not normally a shade I would choose and I hadn't realisedquite how orange the colour was when I chose it so suffice to say this is not one of my favourite colours and is definitely for the brave! The colour Peach of Cake is a light peach shade and looks lovely for daytime wear. Both nail varnishes apply well but the Firey Island is a touch thicker than the Peach of Cake shade and so needs a little more care with application. Both nail varnishes are definitely a 2 coat application. The applicator brushes are the same and are a decent size and they do spread the varnish evenly. Both bottles contains 14.7ml and they can be used for up to 30months from opening. I really like that these Sally Hansen polishes includes both the base and top coat along with a nail strengthener. I've had a few colours to try out of this range and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future although not the Firey Island colour as its a little too bright for me.

It would seem that a few different colours have been linked onto the same product page and so this is just to confirm that I am reviewing shade 543 which is the Berry Important 7-in-1 varnish.I have only recently discovered Sally Hansen products and nail varnish after being offered some colours to use and review and I really like these 7-in-1 nail polishes. The only reason I have deducted a star from my marking is that this nail varnish (and the others I tried) did not last anywhere near the "up to 10 days" that the product page advises but they did last almost 3 days before slight chips appeared on the edges of my nails. The colour Berry Important is a rich red with a pink tone to it and ifthinking of painting one nail a different shade to the rest on each hand then I can confirm that the Pat on the Black shade looks really striking next to the Berry Important. The nail varnish itself applies easily and well although this is definitely a 2 coat application to get the desired coverage. The applicator brush is a decent size and does spread the varnish evenly. The bottle contains 14.7ml and it can be used for up to 30months from opening. I really like that the polish includes both the base and top coat along with a nail strengthener. I've had a few colours to try out of the Sally Hansen nail varnish and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future. This is definitely not a neutral what I would call daytime shade but it is a lovely rich colour and one of my favourite shades that I have managed to try recently.

First thing to say about this is the colour is gorgeous, a rose gold colour that is not as coppery as I was expecting but is still beautiful. I do like Sally Hansen products and I haven't been disappointed with this latest nail varnish. The colour applies well, you get a nice amount of varnish on the applicator brush and it doesn't run all over the place. It dries quickly to a glossy finish and I'm very impressed. (I've found in the past that some products claim to be quick drying but are not, this on the other hand does dry quickly). You get a good solid colour with a couple of coats. This supposedly offers seven benefits - base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, top coat, super rich colour, chip resistant and a gel shine finish, but it is difficult to judge them all objectively. I did have slight chipping after 24 hours, but I wasn't making any special effort not to catch my nails - I carried on doing the washing up, housework etc. If wearing for an evening out though, it should definitely last the whole night. You would possibly have less chipping if you used a top coat. As mentioned in another review it does highlight any ridges on your nails so you may want to buff them before applying this varnish (or try using it with a ridge filler first).Overall though this is an excellent shade (possibly my new favourite) so even with the chipping I have to give this four stars because the colour is stunning.

The colour Nude Now is a lovely neutral very light pink beige shade which is perfect for perhaps wearing during the week at work when you want to wear nail varnish but don't wish to use overly bright colours or perhaps just because you want to wear a neutral nail shade. The nail varnish itself applies easily and well although this is definitely a 3 coat application to get the desired coverage as you'll see from my attached photos that you can still see a little bit of the tip of the nail after just 2 coats. The applicator brush is a decent size and does spread the varnish evenly. The bottle contains 14.7ml and it can be used for up to 30months from opening.I really like that the polish includes both the base and top coat along with a nail strengthener and the varnish doesn't seem to dry out your nails like some can. I've had a few colours to try out of the Sally Hansen nail varnish and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.I have only recently discovered Sally Hansen products and nail varnish after being offered some colours to use and review and I really like these 7 in 1 nail polishes. The only reason I have deducted a star from my marking is that the nail varnish did not last anywhere near the "up to 10 days" that the product page advises (none of the shades I have tried lasted more than 3 days) but it did last almost 3 days before slight chips appeared on the edges of my nails.

My worry with this colour was that it would look 'shabby chic' and make it seem as though i'd drawn on my nails with Tippex. Thankfully, that's not the case! I applied 2 coats (no base or top coat) onto my nails and the coverage was very good. It has a slightly pearlescent finish (reminded me of that special pearl white colour of a car!) and with just the two coats it was almost entirely fully covered. There was just one nail where it looked a bit 'bleached' but I wonder whether that is the intended effect, hence the name. Either way, I was really pleased with the result. The brush is the best I have ever used (and I've used some different brand polishes in my time!). It is quite wide, flat and square so it means that you can cover the nail in even fewer strokes - which of course means a more even finish. It dried REALLY quickly (by the time i'd done a coat on all nails I could reapply a second coat) and the smell was really quite minimal.I'm five days in to the first wear and there are still no chips. The very tip of my index fingers are looking very minutely worn but not at all noticeable.Last but not least, Sally Hansen as a company do not test their products on animals, or any of their ingredients, nor do they ask anybody to test on their behalf. Ethics matters.I think this is an excellent nail varnish for those who prefer to do their own manicures rather than go to a salon.
