Got this for Christmas for 3 year old (nearly 4). Said he wanted a lego kit and we got this one because he likes toy story, even though it is slightly older age group. He needed help from Daddy to build the car. The car is excellent, really speedy - pull back and it shoots off, so we had a few races with that and another vehicle. Bits drop off the lego car all the time as it bashes into things, so be careful not to lose them. Eventually we left it as a kind of 'skeleton' car without too many bits left on, which was kind of fun. But oh the joy of this toy was the little mini buzz lightyear and woody that come with it and are supposed to sit in the car. They are also lego (ish).

I'm a big kid. I didnt buy this toy for my nieces or nephews, i bought it for myself, and I'm 25!Lego, long time favourite of children and adults alike, have teamed up with Toy Story brilliantly on this model. The car has a pull back and let go little 'motor' allowing it to speed ahead, which is great in itselfThe figures are neat. Buzz can be attached to his rocket and has little wings too.Colour wise both the packaging and models look lovely, very striking.The model is very easy to build. Took me about 10 minutes, and any kid, from ago 7+ would take no more than 20-30minutes, and probably could do it without parental help.Pros:Fun design, great to play with (my cats love chasing the model as it wizzes by),

These toy story lego kits are great! Available from both the Disney Store and The Lego shop, so dont be fooled into paying collectors prices. Me and the 25 year old loved putting the model together, took about 20 minutes and is quite straightforward. The 4 year old has had great fun playing with the models, making up his own games and stories with them. He is also learning that lego comes apart and can be put together again - sometimes with different heads! So I think it is good for young children using role play and developing their fine motor skills. I have found the attachments for Buzz's helmet visor inadequate too - it comes off too easily.

My son loves Toy Story series and when they are recreated with Legos, he was all excited and saved his own money to buy LEGO brand Toy Story Woody and Buzz Rescue 7590 on his own (the price is within his piggy bank range). For a veteran lego brickmaster, he constructed this 95 pieces set fairly quickly and seemed to enjoy every moment. This set features Buzz figure that includes an attachable rocket and Woody who looks like the original and after RC Car was built, it is sturdy enough for him to replay as many times as he wants the ending scene from TOY STORY 1 when Woody and Buzz used the blue & green car to catch up with Andy's moving truck to accomplish their rescue mission-a scene I already

We got this for our 3-year old. It's clearly marked 6-12, so certainly I don't blame anyone for what happened. But, I take those age ranges as suggestions for the difficulty of building it, not for safety. As for safety, I thought a 3 year old would be pretty much fine with anything, especially as I knew my son not to put things in his mouth! Anyway, this isn't to blame anyone at all, but just to warn other parents that my son went to bed with the Buzz Lightyear figure and SWALLOWED the wing. When we asked him about it, it became clear that he really choked on it. Of course, this is our fault, not the toy's fault, but I couldn't miss the opportunity to warn other parents.

Both my 5 year old boy and me think this toy is brilliant! It is easy to make, has an exciting pull-back feature (though it invariably shoots into furniture and breaks into pieces!! But hey, the joy of lego is putting it back together again). The buzz and woody characters are very cute, and the rocket has endless play opportunities. A tad expensive, but worth it for the amount of play time we have had.

Bought this as a present for a 5 year-old and it was extremely popular.The ages on the box are 6-12, which is probably about right, as I had to take over most of the making. That being said, it's been quite robust ever since and has lasted the 3 weeks it's been used for without me putting it back together again!Excellent for fans of both Lego and the toy Story films.

I bought this lego set for my godson for his 4th birthday. Probably a bit too complicated for him at the moment, but his dad and my six year old loved building it, and then the two children were playing for ages together. They really liked the Buzzlightyear and Woody characters. Would recommend this lego set, but for age 6 and above (as it says on the box!)

I bought two items of Lego from Toy story 3 for my grandsons 7TH birthday. Most boys of this age group love playing with construction sets, including the lego range. My grandson loves his lego and its the only time he is quiet, when he is busy making his models. I would reccommend lego as the perfect present for ages 2 - 12 years.

I was looking for something for my son for Christmas. He is obsessed with Toy Story at the moment and loves lego. This was a great present but not at this price. If you google the lego number you can find it much cheaper. I have purchased it for £9.99 plus postage on a well known auction site brand new in box unopened etc.
