This is a really good value tie-in set to the forthcoming Toy Story 4 film. I've not seen the film yet (it's yet to be released in the UK), so cannot comment on how well this set up fits into that storyline, but it's easy to see how many play opportunities this kit gives you. The set features Woody and a new character called Duke Kaboom; a daredevil stunt performer, complete with a 'ring of fire' stunt rig, decked out with small cars to jump over, "oil barrels" and a pretty retro looking motorcycle (a fairly obvious homage to the Evel Knievel action toys of the 1970s). Part of the Lego 4+ range, the set is designed for younger builders who are able to move on from Duplo,so all these pieces fit into the wider Lego system (and can still be used as the builder ages up) and designed to avoid more complicated or potentially frustrating building techniques. The "ring of fire" is made from blocks connected by ratcheted hinges, so you can position and reposition this as you fancy, and the "oil barrels" can be stacked in quite a naturalistic way using the single stud on their lids. I added a photo of the two minifigures heads, as I don't think it is clear from the product information that both characters have two face prints: Woody can sport either a wry smile, or an ecstatic smile, whereas Duke Kaboom looks smugly confident or incredibly worried (perhaps the stunt isn't going to plan!). The Lego minifigure interpretation of Woody is charming - I'm pleased that he looks enough like a regular minifigure that he could "pass" as a regular member of a Lego City set up - and Duke Kaboom has a fabric cape, as well as a nice hairpiece for when he's not wearing his crash helmet. There are no stickers in this set - everything with a 'design' has been printed on (which is my preference, and it also means young children won't stress over the fiddly job of delicately applying countless stickers). The natural storytelling or action possibilities presented by a stunt show makes this a really valuable set, and anyone will get a great deal of satisfaction from building it, using the pieces to create entirely new, wacky stunts, as well as the role play and interaction afforded by having two minifigures to play with.

Lego bricks are a timeless toy that will last for generations and are pretty much guaranteed to fit bricks from the past and future. This set is not as complex as some we have in terms of creating the depicted scene. There are small parts and although this is suitable for 4-year olds I would exercise caution as at that age they are still wont to place bits in ears and noses! The bricks are bright and colourful and the characters, whilst looking like typical Lego characters, are dressed up to look like their animated equivalents. Although, if you ask me, Woody is looking a little fuller in the face and thicker in the waist – I guess middle age is catching up on him.Bottom line: It’s a good kit, will keep a little one occupied and it can be combined with other bricks. At the moment the kit is priced at £16 which I think is a little high for what it is. I’m taking a star off for value for money, but if this drops to £12 or below I would give it 5 stars

This Lego set was fun to build and not too difficult as it does contain some larger pieces. The box says age 4+ on it, so I think the larger pieces just make it that bit easier for the smaller kids, my nephew (age 5) needed just a bit of help. The set contains Woody and a new character, which I googled and turns out to be called Duke Caboom. He's apparently a motorcyclist that goes through a ring of fire, and the ring of fire in this set looks great! It is made of some new Lego pieces that hinge together so you can make a circle, and then attach some flames on. The set includes the motorcycle and a couple of simple cars, so you can run the vehicles up the ramp and into the ring.My nephew spent maybe half an hour doing this.

We purchased this Lego set for our three year old at Christmas who became a massive fan of duke kaboom after watching the latest toy story film. The set is quite simple and she managed to build most of it herself. My only issue with sets like this is the inclusion of parts that break apart after building. Lego are clever at getting the brick counts higher on the box ny including pointless bricks. But also the fact its aimed at 4+ i feel the builds need to be able to be played with without breaking up without hardly touching them. That said as usual its Lego as usual easy to rebuild and endless fun the character prints look great and really that was the main reason for purchase.

You absolutely can't go wrong with lego, and I love this new Toy Story crossover collection. The car is really cool! The whole set takes maybe 20 mins to build, is complex enough to keep them occupied but not too big that it becomes a project. The usability of it is fun in that it all becomes functional and essentially a car with a track for imaginative play.Another great set from Lego.

As always with Lego it has clear instructions and nothing missing. Lego is never cheap but there’s a reason...the quality. There’s very little toy story Lego sets so we purchased this as presents for family and a stocking filler for our 4 year old. It’s a good set and he has loved it. Our 6 year old built it for him so doesn’t take long to build.

Cute set that has ramped up the enthusiasm for the movie's release. Nothing too taxing in terms of construction but enough to keep little builders engrossed. Fun to play with once completed and we'll add to this set with others from the franchise (Buzz and Woody's Carnival Mania being top of the list so far).

This is a fun little set that ties in with the upcoming Toy Story 4 movie.Usual Lego quality its a 4+ set which means it is an easier build with more child friendly instructions and is a great gateway set to get youngsters building and transitioned onto Lego.

This is a really nice set, and fairly pirced for what you get. Anyone of a certain age will of course think of Evil Kneivel rather than Duke Kaboom!Lovely set, very colourful and not too tough to put together of course, Nice to have a Woody in the box.

Expensive but fun add-on kit in Lego, goes great with other sets.i do think this is more an exercise in building fun and posing the set afterwards, not much on-going play activity.Be careful of babies and small parts!

Good set for little toy story fans. I bought this for my four year old nephew's birthday, he loves Duke Caboom. It's a good addition to the other toy story sets available and easy to put together.

My grandson is not yet four but was able to construct the kit and enjoys playing with it and the other Toy Story kits he already had. He also likes to reconstruct the pieces to his own design.

My son really wanted this set after watching the movie. Had to travel to get it as local store did not have it but the set was reduced and so very good value.
