As a massive fan of Yoda, this set was a must have the instant I saw it in the store. I have never built a character model like this before—the majority of sets that I purchase and build are modular buildings, and vehicles. However, I absolutely loved building this. Every time I finished a section I would sit back and marvel at how it was coming together.If I had to make a criticism, it would be that his head is a little small for his body, compared to the real Yoda, but I suspect that there would be no way of increasing the size the small amount needed without losing detail.At the end of the day, it’s a fantastic looking model with oodles of detail and well worth the price.Lego,

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. My coworker and I bought this because we had nothing to do and built it over the course of three days. Although the piece count is far higher than it needs to be (It often seems to use a 1x4 plate and a 1x2 plate next to each other instead of a 1x6), we still had a lot of fun building this. There are a ton of pieces in exactly the same color being piled on top of each other, and it is occasionally hard to distinguish what goes where, however we were able to carefully follow and everything clicked into place. There is nothing as satisfying as holding this chunky boi, six hours of our hard labor. We absolutely love this set and would absolutely recommend this to any Star Wars fans.

This is a great looking model. My daughter took notice of this and thought it was cute. Perfect for fans of Lego or Star Wars. The face is very realistic and Lego did a greta job at capturing the Jedi robe. The model looks fantastic from any angle and the mini Yoda and plaque are a nice addition to this collectable. The build was also enjoyable and Lego has numbered the bags in such a way that you work on one bag at a time. The thirteen bags are very manageable to work on, and each one does not take long; so before you know it, you're on to the next one. You can do this in one sitting, or spread it out over several days. I enjoyed the progress go the build, so I completed it in one sitting.

Hey Lego fans! I’m sure some will laugh at the time I took to build this but this was my first ever LEGO build and I loved the Yoda design. Being that it was close to 2000 pieces, I admit to wondering if I overestimated my abilities as I revealed the shiny numbered bags, one by one. While the build wasn’t an easy first try, I made some mistakes and had to backtrack, it was a great payoff as the awesome Yoda slowly emerged. The instructions go from showing placement to pure deduction at step 350, something I enjoy and could compare to reading Shakespeare, once your brain adjusts, it starts making sense. I loved it and my kids loved helping, for this 45 year old who was never into LEGO,

If you are buying this set, you have to keep in mind that this set is a display item, for collectors of all ages. If you are looking for a playable set, well this set is maybe not what you are really looking for. Very beautifully designed. I know lots of people are compaining about Yoda's eyes, but I find these accurate (as it is possible to designed with LEGO parts). This "statue" is not poseable, so keep in mind that the battle ready position is its final state, but it does not bother me at all. Instruction steps are very clear and logic (some people wrote reviews saying the instructions were confusing..... I don't know why....). As I said, a beautiful collectible set to put on a display shelf.

I was hesitant to buy this set because I thought it looked odd in the photos I saw. I was really wrong. This is a really wonderful figure to have on display. The build itself is very interesting. Yoda's hands are one of the most fascinating parts of the build. The way Yoda's robe looks up close in the photos doesn't do it justice. As is sits across the room from me, I can see the the flow of the robe quite clearly and it continues to impress me. This build deserves a micro LED for the light saber if not the entire lighting kit. (I sure with LEGO produced light kits themselves!)If there is any rumor that Lego will produce The Child from The Mandalorian you can bet I'll jump on that

This set is one of the full buildable characters that Lego have been doing in recent years, following on from BB8 and The Porg.This one contains over 1700 pieces, making it really good value for the price (perhaps helped by their being a lot of the same colour due to his cloak).The build is great fun and definitely one that requires a lot of focus. With the cloak layers made up of so many bricks of the same colour it is very easy to make mistakes.The finished character looks great , is very solid and is definitely well suited to being on display. For those wanting a good chunk build at a good price and that produces one of the most iconic Star Wars characters then this is easy to recommend.

We have 3 boys ages 11,11 and 10. They completed Yoda over Christmas break, so much better than the constant video game playing! It took them several hours and several days. On the weekends my husband and I would help them a little. We finally got it completed and now it sits on our fireplace mantel on display. The boys are so proud of what they accomplished, because to be quite honest, its overwhelming opening the box and seeing all those pieces! However, it was great famy fun, team building for my boys and now a "masterpiece" for them. The legos are sturdy, appropriately color coated and the instructions were easy to follow. I was initially sceptical about spending over £80 on lego, as I had only recently started collecting it. However, I took the plunge, and regret it, I do not. I couldn't be happier with this set. It was the biggest lego set I had ever built, but it was immensely enjoyable. it wasn't overly challenging or frustrating, it was simply a way of escaping and relaxing. The build quality is brilliant and the detail that has gone into this model is awe-inspiring. How they get little plastic blocks to resemble a character in such detail amazes me. I soon forgot about the price when I saw the figure coming together piece by piece. I highly recommend it. Regret buying Yoda... you won't.

The product came with a huge instruction manual with step-by-step instructions for the assembly process. Each bag is numbered in sequence of build order and there are surprisingly few spare pieces. The frame on which the body of the model is mounted makes our favorite Jedi Master a bit lighter than if he'd been fully brick, but he's still hefty. Upon making the purchase of this set, I was unsure about the appearance of the end product as a display piece.I grew up with LEGO and Star Wars and can be quite fussy when it comes to detail.About the build, the building process for me was enjoyable and slightly challenging. I’ve just recently started building LEGO again, so it took me some time to build.Techniques used to build Yoda fascinated me and I am more than happy with the complete build, it looks great and I can more appreciate it and it’s design.Very clever and fun build, reminds me of traditional LEGO displays from childhood times.

This is an AWESOME build! HIGHS: I learned a couple different lego building techniques while putting together the head--the outcome is brilliant. The start of the instructions is building the body frame which is the feet and a technik frame. This part was really fun to build. LOWS: The legs come off pretty easily in my experience in building this set. The only reason this happens is because I move it around frequently, so other people may have had a better experience with the legs. Get ready to put this on a shelf for decoration...not for play. Have a nice day!

This model looks excellent. The robe and head design is very fluid for using mostly 90 degree angle pieces. The building isn't difficult BUT the pieces on the head fit together in unique ways. There are only a couple places where there are gaps. 1x1 tan plates are very easy to miss until you have Yoda built. Then you see gaps and extra 1x1's and have to disassemble to fit those plates...but that's part of the fun! :)There are tons of tan plates, so doing a Tatooine, Scarif, or Jakku build would be possible.
