I have to admit to having gone a little Duplo mad this Christmas, particularly with all the great offers which have appeared on Amazon. When this set appeared I couldn't resist, and after a long day with my three children, it turned up by courier and became a rather early present to kill time before bed!I have a three year old girl, two year old boy and 8 month daughter. They sat together that evening and for hours since playing with this set. The detail is fantastic and I look forward to their growing interest in assembling the more complex designs possible. A good selection of animals with some moving features and a whole host of other fun and familiar accessories give me at least a great deal to talk about when playing with my three; presently,

Duplo is such a fantastic toy - it is durable, attractive and has lots of play value. This set has lots of lovely pieces for telling stories and playing safari, and goes well with the zoo sets also available. I do wish that modern duplo sets contained more basic bricks as the things you can build are limited by the small number of these, but saying that there are lots of animals, cars and vehicles with this to make up for it.We bought this for our daughter after she fell in love with the set through playing the free dulpo iPhone app which features this set. She is amazed that the characters have come to life and can't get enough of playing with this toy.

This is a fabulous duplo set. I bought it for my 20 month old who has already spent hours playing with it. My six year old has been similarly entranced. There is a lot of play value with this set - the hippo and crocodile with their snapping mouths are my son's favourites, but with jeep, aeroplane and tent as well as the animals and people there is lots to do. The trees can be configured in a number of different ways which have also proved popular. There are a reasonable number of bricks, but it does help to already have at least a base plate and some standard duplo bricks to supplement play.

My son received this for his 2nd birthday alongside the deluxe box of duplo. It fits perfectly into the deluxe box which is great.This set is fab because it's different! I love the safari animals, it makes a real change to farm animals. His favourite piece is probably the airoplane, he loves flying it around. Some of the animals have working jaws and the giraffe has a working neck. The quad bike has suspension, which is a great detail.Paired with the deluxe duplo box I think we have all the duplo we will need until he is big enough for real lego!

My son loves this! We wanted to get him duplo for his birthday and as he loves animals this seemed like a good choice and it was. The bridge with the crocodile is a great idea and easy to build with a little book of step by step ideas. Whats great about duplo is that you can combine with other sets and he has so much fun with the animals. We thought about getting him the zoo but were put off by the price. I'm glad we got him this now, at nearly half the price, with all the animals and the duplo he already has he has fun building his own zoo.

Bought to go with Lego Baby zoo and Lego green baseplate - a little more expensive than other duplo products but there are quite alot of items in the box and my godaughter loves it and hasnt stopped playing with it since she opened it so well worth the extra expense - would recommend - genuine product - Ordered on Saturday 14/12/13 - arrived Wednesday 18/12/2013 - earlier than estimated delivery date by 5 days !! not bad to say it was xmas - well packaged and secure - no damage in transit - excellent service.

My 16 month old daughter loves this set. I've removed some of the smallest pieces so she can play with all the animals. On the picture it doesn't look like a lot of bricks but I was pleasently surprised with the amount of normal bricks present.The animals are great, the hippo is really cool and untill now exclusive for this set.And the stuff you can stick into the canvas tent! Look dad 2 minifigs and an austrich will fit in it!

I have used this set to help with my son's language development, when he was struggling to grasp words. He's been very enthusiatic about it! Even if your child can't yet build with the bricks, they'll love the animals that come with this set and create their own stories. I see us getting a lot of value from this over the next couple of years. Lego lasts forever, so you can pass it to a friend/charity when your children outgrow it.

One of my twin boys had this for Christmas 2012. I have had as much fun playing with it as they have! There are loads of animals and they are fun to play with themselves eg the crocodile 'eats' the fish, the baby elephant can hold on to the Mummy's tail. We have also had cross play with the farm Duplo as well. Even though my boys turned 5 in July they show no signs of tiring of it - well worth the money their grandparents paid.

Our family is a big fan of Lego Duplo anyway - it is perfect for little hands, all the parts are of the great quality, there are so many different animals in the pack (and my son loves animals) - so many different options to put things together! and even if my little 9 months old daughter crawls close to it I am not scared that she will choke, as parts are so big!Absolutely the best Birthday present my son had!

I bought this for my 2 year old boy's birthday and it proved to be a big hit, also with my older boy (aged 4 at the time). Duplo is great,as the child can build themself which is very satisfying for them and also offers endless possibilities in terms of the different options they can build. My boy was obsessed with animals and he also just loves playing with the animals, even if he's not building anything.

This is new released 2012 lego duplo safari zoo. I bought it to our boys for more different animals they can play with it. There is ostrich in it which you can not find it in other lego duplo sets. hippo and crocodile's mouths can move up and down and it is really fun. The kids love it and have a lot of fun to play with it. It is lego quality as usual, good and sturdy, worth every penny.

I ordered this for my nephew's 2nd birthday. I wanted to get something that he could play with with his 3yr old brother. It was sent straight to my sister's house and both boys love it. They were telling me all about it on the phone. I rather suspect my sister liked it too. I wish I could get one for my daughter but its hard to justify it for an 11yr old. A well appreciated present.

I shopped around and this Lego was much cheaper on Amazon than other suppliers so Amazon well done great price.i couldnt believe on Christmas morning when my niece and i opened this - the amount of Animals and accessories were brilliant.you also get an plane - tent - Fire pit - bridge - Tree house - Camera - just to name a fewi definately recommend buying this product

bought this when on offer for my 2 year old daughter, who loves her big brothers lego sets.. she had lots of fun playing with this as well as her brother!!the set is good quality - as you'd expect with lego, and the animals have moving parts which my daughter loves! This set fits very well with the duplo zoo set we already haveVery pleased with it, and worth the money!
