Fab, fab, fab, Just the thing to go with the Vampire Castle!It went down so well on Christmas morning, got it as son already has the Vampire Castle and I thought that this would be an ideal add on to it, and it is. Excellent quality bricks and great attention to detail and something that looks brilliant when finished (had a go myself as loved Lego as a child). Once you see it up have to have a go at it only for son to tell me it was his and if I wanted to play with it to get my own. Yes, I did get a bit carried away with it, but only wanted to see how the gate worked.One point to note though, it does require a battery for the light brick.

No doubts about this set. LEGO is expensive, but, at its normal price (£39.99), this is already good value. However I managed to get it £8 cheaper on Amazon, so praise allocated there as well.The set itself is great. I love the cyborg-style minifigures, and their car is groovy. The lab set-up looks great alongside the Vampyres castle, and as usual the set is filled with suprises and secrets. The light brick and essential monster minifigures makes this a definite for the series, and the glow in the dark elements - which are slightly pointless (who plays with LEGO in the dark?) - are very cool and quite rare.As always,

The detail in this set is superb. The light brick is a great addition and gives an eery glow to the laser on the crazy scientists table. Some parts glow in the dark. The monster fighters theme is discontinued now and they will be collectors items so get them whilst they're still available. My son loved building this and has saved up to buy all of the monster fighters sets. I think it's one of the most imaginative and fun themes Lego have produced. It's a shame it was a limited run ! It is worth the current £30 price tag.

Santa gave this to my 6 year old. He loved it and found the instructions so easy and could follow them without looking for help along the way.There were 4 toys to built and then they interact. As he built each toy he grew prouder and more confident as he did find building them a challenge. Pieces look like they will end up with our mass of everlasting Lego bricks that are used to make stuff but never as good as the instruction led first time. If you and your child are more organised you will give it a higher rating.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson for Xmas who is quite an expert Lego builder - it's aimed at 8 to 14 year olds but he had no problems building it, but he is very advanced for his age and loves Lego. He loved the theme and the light laser too. So if your child is younger than 8 and loves Lego then don't worry they may be able to do this without too much help.

I bought this for my sons birthday. I got it in the sale so only paid approx half the original price. For the money I paid I was happy but if I had paid the full amount I would have been very disappointed. There is not enough Lego in the box to warrant the full asking price.What is there is good and my son loved it

bought has a Christmas present for my lego mad 8yr old brilliant he absolutely loved it it came in 5 bags I think, light up brick strong bright light to!, and glow in the dark insects, really pleased with this peoduct and the price I paid. highly recommend for any lego fan.

My grandson adores!Very easy to put together (6 years) and yet beautifully done. Perfectly horrible and not too scary. Not babyish either! Love this collection and have bought every box except the haunted house which is way too expensive and unnecessary.

This kept 11 year old nephew entertained for Christmas morning - he loves monsters. He went out and forgot he'd left the lightbrick on so now it doesn't work and battery can't be replaced. Goes really well with the vampire castle.

The reason of choosing this LEGO, was to give a gift. LEGO is never wrong, we decided. When our son got it, he was totally happy, and extremely glad about, how diffrent it is as others LEGO what has had. He is 10 years old.

my grandson loved this present he hasnt stopped playing with it, it has given him hours of fun, the service was prompt but the only thing i was a little dissapointed with was the condition of the box it was very battered.

Great set! Fairly decent size with a couple of builds in it. The light block is nice but it's not 'laser bright' so don't expect to be doing any laser eye surgery! Nice little mini figures too.

Was one of the things my grandson asked Father Christmas to bring him. It looks a good, a typical Lego product but I can't say more until after Christmas morning for obvious reasons.

It was a fun set for my 7 year old son. He's a Lego fanatic so didnt take him long to construct. It has a working light as part of the set which was different. Overall great.

MY kidss love LEGO and had great fun building this and he plays with it all of the time.It's lego - nothing more to be said. Perfect Christmas gift for son, who's Lego mad.
