This Lego set was purchased for my Grandson for Christmas 2011. He already has other box sets in the Hero Factory design and was thrilled with this one. He was just over 6yrs old but very clever at using Lego so managed to put this together with very little help from his parents although it was intended for 9-12yrs of age. This set took a few hours to build and he was absorbed in his project which kept him well entertained. He kept it on a tray for a couple of weeks to show visitors and only took it apart when it was time to travel home. This particular set looked quite spectacular when built and he has rebuilt it many times since also using the parts for his own ideas.

I bought this toy for my nephew. I had not been aware that he wanted a Lego Hero as one of his presents for Christmas, so I was really pleased that I chose the right thing. The colours and the very realistic shape of a scorpion had attracted me to this toy in the first place. My nephew had already in possession another figurine from the Lego Hero series but it was in fact one of the 'goodies' so now that he has got Scorpio he can create whole scenarios.The toy was assembled very easily in about an hour by my 8 year old nephew and he then started playing with it immediately.

Lego have just got this toy right. The pieces fit together brilliantly and the instructions are clear. My son who is under 10 managed to put it together in a slow and steady space, in about 4 hours with no adult input. During that time he was focussed and enjoying making his toy. Since then he has played with in all manner of scenarios. The colours are lovely. The firing mechanism works perfectly. However while I would say the age rating of 9-16 is mostly correct, I am not sure a 16 year old would get that much out of building this unless they were a die hard fan.

I purchased this for my young grandson for his christmas present so obviously I haven't opened it but I am sure he will love it as he is mad about these figures. It was a very good price and delivered in a couple of days so roll on christmas day.

Can’t fault the product but very expensive. My son loves the hero factory figures but I only seem to be sold online at a significantly higher cost than RRP.Will be a happy bunny on his birthday as wanted this figure for a while.

An excellent product, my 6 year old son loved it. It kept him entertained building it for a good 2 hours. As with all lego products it is great fun to see what else can be created from the parts.

This toy is very moveable and worth it's price. It has good detail and it is big. I enjoyed making it, easy to build and it is fun to play with. The tale shooter is good.

trusted and durable.. lego is great.great for younger generation and their imagination.very good customer service from lego too... good after sales follow up.

My son loves these toys and they keep him busy putting them together. The only downside is that they fall apart easily and occasionally pieces get lost.

MY 10 year old son is having endless fun battle with this and his other Hero Factory models! I would highly recommend this toy.
