My Daughter loves the Friends range (she is an avid builder and we have bought a lot of the sets for her over the years) and this new underwater themed fair range has had her making a list for her Birthday to request the other sets from the range to go alongside. My Daughter has the older fair range but the fun underwater theme from this new range is just gorgeous and so eye catching.Age Suitability:-This set is aimed at children over 7 years old but my Daughter who is younger than 7 managed to build this with very little help however please note she has been building since she was around 3.Build Bags etc:-This is one of the smaller sets and has 389 pieces with some small spares.

This is a great set that represents great value for money (at least compared to a similar LEGO Friends set).In the attached video (also uploaded on YouTube in better quality) we play with this LEGO set (from 02:55 in the video) and another LEGO Friends set (41373 Funny Octopus ride). Both are underwater themed carnival rides. The Octopus ride has 324 pieces (including two minifigures) whereas the Underwater Loop has 389 pieces (including two minifigures) and is £10 cheaper (at time of writing, so better value). Also I like the Underwater Loop better because it can fit more minifigures on the ride (6 compared to 4, although both only come with two),

This is a very nice set, and contains more pieces than you would expect from just looking at the photos.Construction wise, it took a 7 year year old about an hour to finish building it all. As with most lego sets these days, the instructions are pretty clear and the only slightly tricky bit was putting the axle of the ride so might need a moment of adult/older sibling help.Once built generally ok to play with and the ride itself is not quite as fragile as I thought it would be.The set provides nice entertainment on it's own, but is far better if you already have other sets. We have it placed with other sea/beach themed sets and the ride itself can seat 6 squeezed in together so having extra

A brilliant Lego Friends set! As with all Lego sets, this is high quality, fun and brightly coloured. The amusement park is based on an underwater theme so there are cute little touches like a crab sign and a turtle and fish car on the ride. The ride swings nicely allowing it to be played with as a fun park ride. This little set comes with two Lego figures and is simple to build as the instructions are incredibly clear. The set is aimed at children over 6 as there are slightly more tricky connections that need to be made with some of the bricks to allow the model to move. Definitely a great little Lego Friends set.

Super Lego kit that supplements the Heart Lake City theme of Lego friends.I handed this over to my daughter aged 10 and she was suitably impressed. It took her a few hours to complete. Much to my daughters consternation one of the characters, Mia, has been up dated and now has bright red hair. Other than that, it's a themed Lego kit, straight forward and a quick build. While the Pearl was a nice touch the swing was the most fun.From a parents perspective I do think that Lego are great for my children but the cost is slowly becoming prohibitive. I do think this is over priced but it still has the magic of Lego.

This set is way too much fun that it should be. I absolutely adore this set... not only is it really really cute, I love the new mini figure (Vicky). The set is so colourful and I love the underwater theme. The crab is fantastic. The ride itself has a really good Lego structure and I had to re-arrange a few pieces to get it right. It’s so much fun to play with, you turn the dial and the ride goes round and around. You can also turn it backwards. Overall this set is good value for money and I spent a good hour and a half building this.

We already had the rollercoaster part of the amusement park and this fits in so well with it.We particularly like the nautical theme even down to one of the figures included looking a bit like Ariel.My daughter loves spinning the ride around so fast that the people fall off.The build was a little fiddly and my 8yo daughter got a little bit bored but I really enjoyed building this. The detail is great. I really want to expand our amusement park more and maybe get some lights and motors added in there.

Fantastic lego set. It says for 7+ but my 6 year old granddaughter got stuck into this and spent hours playing with it. I had to help our on a few occasions where she had some bits on the wrong side but she was completely immersed in it. The detail of the little parts is amazing, you can't stop looking at it as there is so much to take in. Don't let the age put you off, with support it is ok for slightly younger, especially if they have completed some smaller sets before.Highly recommended 10 stars

This is a happy kit, lots of fun to build and play with afterwards. My 7y/o niece's eyes lit up and she particularly likes the candyfloss machine.It's reasonably priced for Lego but there isn't a great deal to it. But like I said, it's pretty and there's so much attention to detail that it's fun. Besides, it's Lego and you can't go wrong if you're looking for a safe present. My 15y/o niece loves it (probably wouldn't want it for herself but she loves helping my niece with it)

The LEGO 41337 Friends Underwater Loop Fair Set, Amusement Park Fun set is a lovely colourful and easy build for youngsters. This set is targeted for the right age group; although I feel a good six year old can build this as well. It is a pretty straight forward Lego build and once built it looks niceIt has a nice selection of bricks and it has immense replay value. The figures are nice and go with the rest of the Lego friends set.Overall, a nice set and looks great.

My son has always loved Lego, he got his first small set when he was about 3 yo (however it was a bit challenging). He is now 8 and still plays with it, although I think by the time he is 10 he will grow out of it.Good advice - if you don't know what to get a child for a present - get them Lego. I do not know a single child who would not enjoy it.This set is for our niece and is descent size in decent price. She will love it!

What a great little set. Very fun to build and great fun to play with. The turtle and fish ride is really cute and is great fun to spin round and round. There are lots of lovely details to keep your kids occupied. Challenging enough but not so complicated that it needs a parent to build it - at least in our case.
