This set has 460 pieces spread over 9 bags, 1 manual and a sticker sheet. There was nothing too complicated in the build as it is actually quite a simple build despite the number of parts. Too be honest considering the name "Sports Arena" it felt a little lacking in areas. But, as long as you buy it knowing this you won't be disappointed. It is more the starting point for an arena, with the main entrance in the middle with bleachers on one side and a Taco stand on the other, with a memorabilia store upstairs. You also get a pair of stadium lights which are simple yet effective. The two sports activities are a mixed bag with the tennis court standing out as the best.You can flip the ball back and forth which is a cool feature, though the court itself could have done with being a few studs bigger in each direction. The basketball system is more of an amusement park machine, and has been sold as such in other LEGO sets. I would rather have seen a Basket/Netball pitch done in a full - all be it scaled down - version. Overall there is fun to be had here, especially if you have or a going to get any of the other sports sets which can be added to the arena. My recommendation? If you are into sports or are a completest then this is worth getting other wise I'd give it a miss.

With 460 pieces, and aimed at ages 6-12, this set adds a sports arena to Heart Lake City. My daughter is crazy about Lego Friends and she was happy to get a new character, alongside Stephanie, in this set – Stephanie’s rival, Vicky. She has a great expression and, with her looking ready to do her best to beat Stephanie, the competition is on!The arena itself has a great entrance, complete with winner’s cup, a taco stand and somewhere to sit; there is even a little tray which holds a taco and a drink. With a scoreboard, basketball and tennis courts, there is lots to do. The tennis court allows you to flip the ball back and forth and the basketball court allows you to flip the ball into the basket – or not!It is difficult and my daughter got a bit frustrated with this; with only two real games, this should have worked better.Overall, though, this is a good addition to the range. It has lots of small accessories, which help extend the play value. My daughter’s favourite thing was the addition of a new character and, of course, it is always good to encourage girls to play competitive sports. It is a shame the basketball refuses to go into the net, but, generally, good fun.

Nice looking Sports arena. This Lego set has some great detail. It is actually an easy build, yes it looks a bit complex, but the Lego instructions are great and put together in parts, which makes it allot easier to construct.The colours are amazing and looks very nice and cheerful. The only downside is the gimmicky sports. They could have added other parts to make it interesting. However, the overall look is great. I know the Friends set is more about building a location and having the many different Friends characters. In this set you get Stephanie and Vicky which are pretty good characters.So, overall a good set, yes it lacks a few things, but still a good set.

LEGO is for those who like to build and have an active imagination. It is great to see a LEGO sports arena for girls which my daughters love. Probably best for girls from 6 to 10.You get a lot in the big box; a 2-story building with a scoreboard, main entrance downstairs, souvenir shop upstairs (with a hinged spectator stand and taco bar to either side), a tennis game with moving ball function, a basketball game with shooting function, plus 2 non-functioning floodlights.It also includes Stephanie and Vicky mini-doll figures.Build and play. A simple formula.

Nicely packaged lego set with a very colourful outer box. Over 450 pieces so this is a longer term project for most kids. It is relatively easy to complete. Slightly disapointing moveable items, but otherwise it looks great once finished. Perfect for a seven year old girl (my tester).

Never disappointed with Lego. My daughter who is 9 years old is a fan of lego friends. We got this for her for Xmas and she started assembling the pieces straight away. It is quite tricky and level of difficulty is ideal for 9 year olds

My 10-year-old loved this set. Loads to make and some ingeniously playable 'sport' items. A great well thought through set and lots of time spent playing it.
