This set appears to be directly targeting young girls and encouraging them into the world of LEGO. The Amazon title may say ‘Fun Playset for Kids’ but I think it’s pretty clear it’s aimed at girls only.For those new to the LEGO ‘Friends’ product line, it takes a bit of a twist away from the regular LEGO line, by having its characters take a less traditional blocky and yellow-bodied appearance, and instead goes for real-world skin colours and more realistic body proportions than the regular LEGO characters (all are fairly slim-build physiques). In some ways that’s a bit of a shame if you ask me, as I thought the regular LEGO line is a lot more flexible and open to more creative scope,as well as being fairly gender neutral with lots of different variations and options within the core product line. With the ‘Friends’ range, there is an attempt to cover as many hair colours and ethnicities as possible in the five main characters, which does come across as a bit contrived. It seems to be a male-free zone as well, which from my perspective doesn’t really encourage inclusivity or equality. No matter, as long as you know what you’re getting with this range it should be fine, it’s just a bit of a shame that it isn’t more inclusive or reflective of the real-world.Anyway, this particular set allows you to create a buggy with trailer and comes with some outdoor play items such as swingball, plus it comes with the Stephanie character and her dog (or perhaps it’s a stray dog that she found whilst out in the woods). There is also a bicycle that she can sit on in a fairly awkward way, and if you’re being totally on-form with your health & safety credentials, Stephanie can be adorned with a cycle helmet - although given her long shoulder-length hair, she suddenly looks like a skinhead when wearing the helmet as Stephanie has to make a choice between safety or her fabulous locks. Again, this is something that the more traditional LEGO characters could disguise better as none of them had long hair. She comes with a life vest as the idea is that she’s at a lakeside activity park or something, so that’s thoughtful, but given the health & safety approach I was surprised that seeing as how she has a portable campfire, why wasn’t she also equipped with a fire extinguisher? This is poor form, Stephanie!In some ways I prefer this sort of ‘accessories’ approach to LEGO as it doesn’t restrict the creativity too much and is more about you incorporating this new item in your existing play sets. There is only one way to assemble the buggy but then it is just a basic build and a lot of the parts are moulded to this singular purpose. As it’s not a large item this doesn’t bother me so much.If you’re wanting to expand your LEGO with some pastel-coloured accessories this is a suitable addition but it would be nicer if it were a bit more inclusive and a bit less contrived - plus more cohesive thought about promoting outdoor safety wouldn’t go amiss.

My granddaughter has a few of these playsets. The Lego Friends range features mini Lego girl dolls in a variety of settings. This set has Stephanie a sporty doll who has a pet dog, a four wheeled buggy and trailer, a bicycle, paddle board, tennis pole and camp fire setting. She wears a life jacket and has a helmet that she can wear instead of her hair. There are enough elements to this set to encourage imaginative play as well as some construction skills. There is an easy to follow pictorial set of instructions to build the buggy and trailer. A nice set for children of six years plus.

I think that Stephanie's Buggy and Trailer is very fun and interesting set to play with. I love the trailer attached to the car and the cute area to sit and roast marshmallows. I also love the jumper piece placed in the car for Stephanie's dog, Dash, to sit. As Stephanie is a very sporty girl, I really enjoy getting her to surf, bike ride and play swingball. I really needed a new car other than The Mission Vehicle and I absolutely love Stephanie's Buggy and Trailer!

Lego was always one of my favourite toys growing up but my niece and nephew thankfully enjoy it as much as I did.This is part of the Friend line and is a bit more approachable due to the more realistic bodies of animals, and people. THat's not To say that the car and trailer weren't fun to build and the little play / picnic area equally so.It's a fun set and a nice addition to our lego items.

Brilliant Lego friends set with lots of accessories like bike, surf board and dog, along with the main vehicle. It’s a medium sized set so plenty to make and play with but also not too hard or challenging to put together so it’s a great middle ground. This set comes with the Stephanie mini figure, one of 5 of the Lego friends characters.Great quality as expected from Lego, we are pleased with it

a lovely playset - my grand-daughter loves lego and she adores this playset!The set has a buggy and trailer as well as stephanie figure, puppy, bike as well as a swingball set and accessories - aged at 6+ it is easy to put together using the easy instructions ( I did have to help a little - but only a little on the jeep)A great price as well - we love it!

This little Lego set is very nice - a buggy, trailer and 'Stephanie' figure, it also includes numerous little extra pieces. For this I have to give it the full 5 stars. It isn't a difficult build but has added to the enjoyment of my children and their lego town! My general rule is, if it's lego, it is quality.

Our youngest (5) is just starting to get into LEGO and this set is brilliant for her. She really loves the theme and it's easy enough to put together with just a little bit of parental input. It feels like a 'proper' LEGO set but is simple enough not to be frustrating. Would make a great gift.

This is a great value introduction to Lego that hopefully hold its own against the electronic devices for a time. Best used with a friend, it will encourage kids to role-play and use their imagination.

My 8 year old daughter has really enjoyed putting this set together.The instructions are clear and simple to follow.The toy once built is great for playing with and can be broken down and rebuilt.

Everything I would expect from Lego with the added bonus that my granddaughter happily plays with it. To get five stars from me the product or service would have to be better than expected.

Another great lego set, with some great little extras. The quality from Lego is always top notch. Lovely vibrant colours and perfect for hand/eye coordination.
