My Daughter is a huge Lego and Friends fan and has absolutely loved building this set which when finished produces two Heart Boxes which can either be used in play with the included figures or used as little trinket boxes.This is a medium sized set and has 2 build bags along with an instruction booklet. There are 199 pieces along with a couple of small spares and the set comes with both Vicky and Olivia minifigures and a poodle and a frog.The set is aimed at children over 6 years old and my Daughter who is younger than this managed to build the full set by herself although please note she has been building Lego for a while and is a little Lego rocket when she gets going.The Heart Boxes also

Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never owned a Lego Friends set but was impressed with everything (apart from as a Lego purist the people) on the first one I got. This, a much smaller set offers play possibilities in a different way - focusing on dressing up the different characters.The main build part of this set are the two pretty straightforward heart shaped boxes, which can be used to hold either the people and accessories or something else, both using pretty standard parts and the colours of the Friends sets. The real play quality however comes in the two characters provided and the range of accessories that come with them to dress them up in different ways and give them different things to do.Overall therefore,

This is quite an unusual Lego Friends set which actually allows very little model building. There are two different sized heart shape boxes which children can build and lots and lots of extra accessories. The boxes themselves, when made, are lovely and allow children to store the accessories in or anything at all. The instructions are well set out allowing children to build the boxes accurately. The accessories are a bit like dressing up clothes so allow lots of imaginative play with the two Lego Friends provided. There is a witches hat, astronaut helmet, pirate, police and builders hat, plus other accessories to match these. It is a nice set, but for me Lego is about model building and this is most definitely not what this set is about.

This is a great addition to the LEGO friends set that features Vicky and Olivia mini dolls and a number of outfits and things which will encourage both role play and feed active imaginations. There are two heart shape boxes to build complete with stands to display them on and comprehensive instructions to make them. For Lego traditionalists there may be a couple of sticking points: 1) The boxes are basically all there is to build, and 2) the characters that come with the set are not the traditional blocky characters that you see in traditional LEGO or in the movies. However, that said, they are very playable with and there are a number of sets that if you find your child likes this departure

Our two girl sprogs love Lego, in particular the new 'Friends' models. This Friends Heart box set comes with two packs of Lego – one pack makes the purple and pink heart shown on the box, the other pack makes the yellow and blue heart and also contains various legs, bodies, heads and hats to make the figures. There is also an instruction leaflet giving step-by-step pictures of how to construct each of the hearts.There are loads of accessories with this set, different hats – pirates, astronaut, witch and mechanic – the combinations for play are seemingly endless with all the different accessory pieces which are inter-changeable between the two figures. Good value for rainy day play.

This is a really nice twist on your usual lego sets. It has the usual Lego friends characters with lots of accessories for dressing up fun, but instead of a building such as an ice cream shop, house etc. you get two lovely heart shaped keepsake boxes which are really pretty and nicely sturdy.The boxes can be displayed using the little stands that come with them or used to store the characters and accessories (or anything else you like such as bits of jewellery etc.).A lovely new twist on the Lego Friends series and my daughter absolutely loves it!

There are some really small pieces in this so I’d agree with the 6+years old recommendation.You get two small girls called Vicky and Olivia. They come with a head, body and legs section. The hair is separate too so hats can be worn instead.You make up two heart shaped boxes (large and small) that can hold all the dressing-up stuff. There’s a little dog with a bone. A pirate hat and gun, a witch’s hat and wand and so on, an instruction book too (for making the hearts).A nice little Lego set with lots of play possibilities.

The kids in the family all love Lego and these 'Lego Friends' go this is a pretty neat set. Not so much Lego construction as such but plenty of ideas for play. The girls loved it as they like the little figures, Olivia and Vicky. B is like me in that anything small is great! Based around hearts with different play scenarios including pirates with various costumes to wear. Obviously, there are more sets to be had in this series and lots more characters and gameplay.

A lovely product that is perfect for a child who loves playing with little people. It comes with a fair number of accessories that can be used to dress up the figures. Best of all it has two heart shaped boxes to keep it all in. A lovely gift. I just wish it was less wholly gender specific and more like a generic toy - boys like all kinds of figures too.

Young Lego enthusiasts will love thses boxes filled with a variety of the smaller pieces of the multicoloued building bricks which are contained in two heart shaped boxes.They are themed around two ofriends playing imaginative dress up games together.Slightly fiddley for larger , grown up fingers they will nonetheless suit theur target audience.

This is another fun set from Lego. Probably aimed at girls 7 to 11 years. Comes with 5 figures and fun items, heart shaped box, pirate things, tool box and much more. Bricks are supplied in separate bags. All easy and fun to set up.Excellent Lego set. With hours of fun.

Me and my daughter liked this. Easy to put together and a nice little storage container to put all the accessories (fancy dress outfits) inside. Little stand that comes with it but doesn't hold the big heart container up that well.

I'm not overly keen on the friends variant of lego - it doesn't need 'girlifying' but for what it is this is a good set. Take out the silly figures (why are the girl legos skinny when the boy ones are thicker set?) Good value.

My 7 year old built it all in not time and was delighted with it; she'd been asking for this set for a while and was over the moon with it. Just like any Lego, very cute, very good, nothing to criticise.

My 9 year old was very pleased with this. You can't really go wrong with Lego. High quality product that kept my daughter amused for quite some time. Arrived well packaged as always.
