The creator jet is miniature in size (& price for that matter) but detailed. It's roughly based on the shape of a BAe Hawk (the kind the red arrows use) - except this one's yellow. It has moving undercarriage and afterburner effect at the rear. I bought four, 3 for my nephews and (I'm not ashamed) one for me. We built them together, then flew them together, in formation, performed run and breaks around the garden, then came in to land on the kitchen table. I'm 31. It was probably one of the funnest afternoons of my life. For £6; it WAS WORTH IT!

Bought this as a present for an aircraft maintenance engineer as a birthday present. He seemed to genuinely love it and said it was a lot easier to build and fix than his current (real) jet. His lego version is now sat on his desk at work next to the real thing. I chose it as it was a jet and it includes instructions to make two other models as well as the jet so is excellent value for money. It's also nicely priced too and arrived quickly in the post. Would definately recommend.

My 6 year old grandson is Lego mad! The Creator series are fantastic as they encourage him to follow the instructions and also create his own variations on the models.Lego always has encouraged children to think and we have almost 40years of experience in our family.This set has a fantastic helicopter that easily converts into a speed boat or space module or whatever he thinks is appropriate.

This is a great little kit not costing too much money (£12 at the time of purchase). If you are buying this model [or any other from the Creator 3n1 range] I'd be happy to recommend them. My son is an avid Lego fan, happy to build models from scratch, but the fact that you are able to build three different models from the one kit really makes him happy.

This was bought for my 8 year old and he could manage to follow the instructions by himself and made the plane with minimal supervision. The plane once built holds together well so it can be played with. There are 2 other models which can be made from rearranging the set so should give variety and hold a child 's interest. A winner for us.

great stuff. it kept my son (5yr old) occupied for quite a long time. Although at times he made few mistakes and had to cry out for help. But once that's done, it glued to his hands where ever he went.Best of all he is looking forward to dismantle them and try the helicopter this weekend.that's 3 for 1, value for money!

My son loved putting this together, but trying to get him to dismantle the larger of the two planes that he built first to enable him to build the other two items with the same pieces is proving a little difficult! The plane has provided plenty of fun once built however. Very robust.

I bought this for my grandson and so far he built two models. He played with it all day and loved it! The models are solid and the price is reasonable. I would recommend buying it.

My (nearly) six year old son and I had great fun putting this together... its been in form of plane for a while now and is standing the test of being played with daily! Great kit!

Love these creator Lego toys - needs adult help for the younger child but great quality time spent together building it. Would recommend.

It was for a gift for my 10 years old nephew.He liked it very much. Didn't stop till made all 3 variations of the Lego.

Packing squashed the box inside slightly. No problem with the actual item . It is a present , hence this comment.

My 7 year old grandson loved it. Good value and good fun. He played with it for hours after putting it together.
