Feels like a premium product compared to typical kitchen stuff you'll find in supermarkets or IKEA. The materials used feel like they will last a long time, and the ceramic blade will never go blunt. The blade is sharp and though I did nick myself on first use, it's not so sharp you need to be afraid of it. The handle has a comfortable shape and gives good grip.Not much else to say, it's expensive, but worth it. Not the first Kyocera product I've bought, and won't be the last.

The blade is so sharp and peels effortlessly, will have to see how well it keeps the 'sharpness'. Only used it on carrots so far, not sure i'd use it on sweet potatoes or something with tougher skin. The blade feels perhaps slightly vulnerable to being knocked and the unit is plastic, but it was fairly cheap. It's going well so far.

Wow so good I had to purchase it again for my mother-in-law because I told her how good a peeler it was. Easy to handle, it peels very clean and it is so sharp. Because it is not made of metal it will not rust so I expect it to last along time.

very good for as house kitchen. not for a professional kitchen where you need to peel 80kg off carrot a day. =P but dose do a good job till it brakes 8 month in. but i just buy a new one as it quicker and sharper then most other peelers.

Works amazingly. You have to be fairly gently and maybe peel in smaller slices, but best peeler I've ever had. Its light to hold and doesn't make my hand feel like its going to fall off after peeling a bag of potatoes :)

It is sharp. It seems to glide smoothly through potato skins, and other vegetable skins.The depth is good. Not to thick or thin. It's a sturdy, confidence-inspiring handle.As for longevivity... time will tell.

great little peeler. light, sharp and really accurate. Perfect for fruits to stop them oxidising. Not sure I'd try on a butternut squash as it might be a bit brittle.

This is the best ceramic peeler we have found. Saves so much time when peeling any vegetables, even ones with tough skin, such as squash. Also reasonably priced.
