When I first unwrapped this I was unsure about the quality. The finish is not as good as I would expect from this brand. The metal slicer clearly shows that it is just punched out of a sheet of metal and the plastic handle also looks slightly shoddy, so only time will tell as to how this fairs.However, the slicing element is sharp enough to glide through a block of cheese and create consistent thickness of cheese slices so I guess it does the job.

This is a great sturdy cheese slicer. It does cut quite thick slices though. Ive knocked a star off because as a Swede I’ve used cheese slicers all my life and with most slicers you can vary the pressure to get different thickness depending on cheese and use. It’s not as easy to do that with this one.

Bought this for my son as his partner complains he cuts the cheese too thick, plus we have been using one for years.. Think he cuts more than one sliver to put in his sandwich but its somuch easier to allow how much you want, little or a lot. Easy to use and to wash up.

Before having this slicer, I was using a knife to cut my cheese like some kind of caveman.This is so much better than a knife. Since using this I have cut (see what I did there) the pack lunch preparation time in half!Long story short, great slicer.

Delighted to find a cheese slicer that actually works!!! Good quality nice to hold and cuts the cheese without hacking it to death! I'm very pleased that I shall purchase a 2nd one as a back up!!

Finally a cheese slicer that works. Premium quality and easy to clean. I have no complain about this item and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a slicer that works.

I bought this Fiskars peeler as a replacement for my old one and I can tell you that is huge difference when you peeling vegetables,very handy in use and peeling is so easy now.

I got this for my husband as he was cutting slices of cheese big enough to be used as a doorstop. This is quick and easy to use and now our cheese lasts a lot longer!

Cut through cheese easily. Reasonable thickness of slices, ideal for toasties, burgers etc. God's value for money I am very pleased with purchase

It slices cheese without any effort, but seems to leave a tiny wedge in its slot at the end of the slice, hence 4 stars.

The slicer works and the sides cut. It's also super lightweight. Goes in the dishwasher, what more can I say?
