This it the same high quality I have found in all the WMF Profi Plus utensils I have bought. Well polished, high grade steel, dish washer safe.The peeler works in both directions, so suitable for lefties too. The cutting part swivels and is serrated so cuts smoothly and easily.I have found this cuts at almost a set depth so if you need to remove more skin from your fruit or veg, don't try to press harder, just swipe twice or more to get as much off as you want.Works well and is top quality, which is worth paying for.

Having purchased cheaper peelers and tried to dishwash them I've always been disappointed as they invariably end up rusting in the dishwasher - but not this one!The serrated edges of the peeling surface glide easily through even hard vegetables such as sweet potato and swede and the stainless steel manufacture leaves a brilliantly clean and rust free utensil even if it sits in the washer for hours overnight.Forget cheap peelers and get this one.

I always have trouble finding peelers that don't feel oversized and uncomfortable in my hand. This fits the bill superbly and is so sharp that the thickness of peel it takes off means less waste on potatoes, carrots, etc. The only thing you need to get used to is the small little tab protective tab between the head and handle but that soon comes.

There is simply no finer potato peeler (and been through a few), although it resembles something like a James Bond plastic surgeon's instrument (and is probably as lethal), it tirelessly skins potatoes and vegetables. Furthermore, it goes in the dishwasher without any effect on it's ability. This is the "Porsche" of potato peelers!
