The heat detector was very simple to install in the garage and the package includes the fixing screws, operation manual in around 20 languages, and PP3 battery. I tested the unit prior to instalation with an hair dryer to ensure it worked correctly. Although the warming tone is loud I can't hear it very well in the upstairs part of the property that may be a consideration for people in large dwellings. That said, it is a good quality unit representing great value.

Good heat detector which is perfect for the garage which is much needed as the garage is part of the house so now I have peace of mind, it only took 1 minute to fix to ceiling with supplied screws.You must use a heat dector in the garage as a normal smoke detector would get set off by car exhaust fumes.Please click on the “Yes” button below if this review has been helpful thank you.

These are quite small and do not stick out like a sore thumb when fixed onto the ceiling. I have two fitted in the kitchen (one either end).They were very easy to install, all fixings and battery are supplied. I have tested then with a heat source and they do work... Hopefully they will not be tested in real life. At the moment they are for peace of mind.

Purchased to replace smoke alarm in kitchen which went off when doing toast etc, looks like its working, but with this type of thing you don't know until the worst happens, which of course you hope does not

Great product for the price, i got 2 and both are working, easy to install too, i didn't bother screwing them to the ceiling i got those damage free picture hanging strips, saves me drilling holes! ?

Ordered this for my Man Cave, never had to use it yet, and hopefully won't, but I do text it now and then, it goes off when I do, so I take that as a good sign, especially for the price ??????????

Prompt delivery. Can't comment on the effectiveness as we haven't had cause for it to go off yet. It is in the kitchen and has not been affected by the toast burning so that's a plus.

The product works when the test button is pushed. Not yet tested by exposure to a fire in the kitchen.
