I will be honest and say I bought this just for the colour. I do have every type of Kong for my two dogs, simply because I enjoy providing my dogs with different textures. I like this Kong as it is softer than the regular (red) Kong but not as soft as the puppy (pink and blue) Kong.I gave this to my 4 year old Staffy who can be a strong chewer but as she has used many Kongs before and knows to lick to food out, she has not yet made any marks on it and she does carry it around in her mouth.Maybe if you have a strong chewer this would not be for your dog, the regular red Kong or a extreme black Kong would be better.

What a great buy! Pups love it. It is robust, so can take any amount of tugging between dogs. It is heavy, but not too much that the dogs cannot pick it up. Most dog biscuits will fit in the hole and so the dogs enjoy working out how to release it.I bought a large one for my Labrador and a small one for my Cairn Terrier. Needless to say they have swapped, each preferring one another's. Thankfully it is suitable for both. Would recommend as a fine toy for any dog owner.

Very good item. I bought it for a newly adopted 9-year old dog who started showing interest in chewing our shoes. I thought he might need some entertainment and kong turned out to be a good choice. He has quite poor teeth but still managed to rip one of those cheap tennis-like balls. The kong is still in one piece, 2 months later, and very much liked. I usually put some dog biscuits and a bit of cream cheese and that keeps the doggie entertained for a while.

I had bought a kong for our puppy, and my old dog, of 13 years, who has never had a passion for toys, kept eying it up. So I decided to buy the senior one for her, as the rubber is softer. I fill it with delicious treats, freeze it, and when I go to work, they are waiting for their kongs! It's quite large so keeps her occupied. She's not got that jealous glint in her eye anymore! Great buy, and it was delivered promptly .

Product not as described - was solid purple. Don't think the dog minded though. She has contentedly played with this and it has kept her occupied for several minutes! That is good for a border collie. Although with hindsight it seems a little on the large side for her if I had to buy again I would buy a medium. But happy dog equals content owner and purchaser of a senior kong!

I bought this for my elderly greyhound who lost most of his teeth, I fill it with cream cheese or Peanut Mutter (specifically for dogs), he loves it. He's never chewed anything but is very content to just lick the Kong for hours. As he's had his walks reduced due to arthritus it's great for distracting him when I take my other dogs for a walk.

My Staffie absolutely loves these Kong's & they last longer than any other toy. I normally get about 4 to 6 months from one Kong & maybe 4 to 6 seconds on anything else. First time you fill it with treats may take your dog a minute or two to figure out how to get them, after that it's only a matter of seconds lol.

Great for my 10 yr lab he loves it with treats inside ( then again a lab would love anything with food in it ) he loves throwing it round to get the last bits out brought the treats to go inside tooHe had a red long but it was to hard for him and heavy to throw around this one is better now he’s older

My Dog is a rescue and has severe separation anxiety, so when we do leave to pop to the shop for 10mins this is a perfect distraction to help him calm down. Most of the time he doesn't even notice we have left. Only dropped a star to 4 as they are expensive but still one of the best on the market

I purchased this for our eight year old dog. After an initial ignore (no treats in it and rubber smell), he soon caught on and has lots of fun with it. We used three bacon strip treats and wedged them in the bigger hole. He took about an hour to get them all out, so definitely good for boredom.

Very good toy, it’s flexible enough but durable at the same time.It works good also for fetching games due to its flexibility, it jumps it different direction, great for a more active dog.Gentle on the teeth and jaw.It’s great to be able to just rinse it and everything comes right off.

Awesome dog toy, keeps my Vizsla happy for a good 40 mins, dog food, a few biscuits, a drop off water, mix it all up and fill the Kong, push all the food in and freeze , peace and quiet follows along with a lot of licking and tail wagging, and that just from the Dog !!

This toy is fantastic and gets my 13 year old dog who is pretty thick and lazy to do something other than sleep keeping him entertained for about 20 mins if stuffed with liver paste and treats. Only thing is I will be spending a fortune on liver paste!!!

My rescue staffy loves peanut butter in his Kong and he needed a replacement. I decided on the senior one because my boy has weak teeth due to neglect as a pup. He seems to be coping with it really well. Recommended

Didn’t last long with one of the staffies unfortunately. The one it was bought for was happy with it but it was pinched by the other and destroyed within minutes . Even although I bought them the xxl one
