With a hyper Poodle, whose job in life-according to him that is, to see how quickly he can destroy a squeak! Or, bit off ears, arms or legs.. Apart from a bit off one ear. This toy has stood a massive test, when you give it to our little man. Its still in one piece, and has the loudest squeak I have EVER heard, from a toy, and I have had this breed for over 30 years. I have also road tested ever new toy I think he won't manage to destroy. But he does. Not this one. In fact we bought a 2nd one, to have one upstairs and one downstairs. My labradors love this. Together with the equally obnoxious pink hedgehog(?), it is the loudest toy they’ve had, and obviously very satisfying to squeak (I say ‘squeak’ but it’s lower and louder than you’re imagining.) It is pretty durable, but to be fair they haven’t made much effort to chew it as they’re too busy deafening the neighbourhood. You will want to take this away from your dog after a few minutes and then see how you like dealing with the guilt when they sit looking at you appealingly with those big sad eyes.My rating is based on my dogs’ opinion of the toy, not mine. An excellent gift for dogs who live a long way away from you.

Bought this for Christmas for my Border Collie. I wanted to see how long it would last before writing this review, it is now September and the squeaker has only just stopped. She has a love hate relationship with my partner, so now and then she gets into a mood where she gets hold of a toy and squeaks it until she calms down.She also doesn't like my daughter going out. So instead of barking all the time she gets hold of the fox and squeaks it until my daughter is out of sight. This has been the best squeaky toy she had ever had. It is very hard wearing. She hasn't been able to puncture it with her teeth either.I highly recommend this toy

Hardy little toy, from an owner with a dog who will destroy any softer toy in less than a day. This toy for me seems to be the best alternative for any owner with a dog who main aim when getting a new toy is to see how quickly they can destroy it. Although the the ears and arms can be chewed this does not end the life of the toy and open it up like so many soft dog toys out there. The inner plastic body is strong and resistant and ensures this toy should last in most cases.On top of this our dog loves it and comes back to it time and again to play with it and chase around the house and garden.I would recommend to any dog owner.

My dog absolutely loved this, he played with it for ages and it withstood his big powerful had, however, I have a confession to make...the squeak absolutely did my head in and I poked a skewer through the squeak to render it silent, unfortunately, this led to the dog devouring it and it turned into labotomy bear, the poor blue bear with a gaping hole in his brain!The dog still enjoyed it, but not quite as much. Feeling a pang of guilt for ruining the bear and my beloved friends enjoyment of it, I ordered a new one, and he loves me for it. I promised that I won't ruin the squeak on this one, but maybe it should come with earplugs!

Well, i have bought a lot of kong toys over time and have never really been impressed with any as they last no longer than a 99p toy with my staff but i continue to but them.because there is such a huge variety and I spoil my pooch. But this one I have to say lasted a long while. Not the outside so much but it did take him a while to get his teeth into it because of the shape and the fact that the whole inside is a very tough plastic casing. Which he loved in itself once he had chomped off the fur. I would defo buy one of these again. But beware, as with all kongs soft toys the fur is a nightmare to get off your rug/carpet.

My collie x staffie cross has the strong jaw of a staff and honestly destroys all of his toys pretty much as soon as they arrive. He really loves stuffed squeaky toys but because he destroys the so quickly we thought we would give Kong a try and I am SO glad we did. We have had this toy (among a few other Kong toys) for a week or so now and its still standing strong against Harley's constant chewing - much longer than his other toys! This one is also definitely his favourite out of all the toys we have bought. I will definitely be buying more toys for him from Kong in the future

Hi, Harley Hound here. My owners bought me this as a surprise and I love it! It's super strong so I can chew it, shake it and throw it around to my tails content. I'm a 30kg Labrador so my toys take a bit of a hammering. This one has a particularly loud and annoying squeak, which I give maximum chew to just as my owners are settling down to watch the tv after dinner, especially if it's one of their favourite dramas, like Game of Thrones or Taboo. You should see the irritation on their faces! It certainly has the wag factor for me!

I am so surprised that in the few months that my Bullmastiff has been chewing and throwing this toy about , it is still intact, even the ears. Maybe she hasn`t yet been determined enough to kill it, as she could possibly pull it in half if took a dislike to it. The squeak did not last long, that indeed was a sort of a blessing and didn`t deter her from playing with it. I definitely recommend this toy, although, if your dog is a chewing psycho, who knows how long it could last.

Bought this for our puppy for Christmas. It is filthy dirty and soaking wet, nut stiLL IN OME piece, even thOUgh shadow fights it. Throwing it in the air and pouncing on it. He loves takeing it in to his. Rate s day hiding it there. At bedtime, he plays with it until he falls asleep very well made. We ha e Noe bought him Pedro penquin in the hope hill like this lomg enough to get blue away from him and get him in the washing machine.

My dog LOVED this, drove me nuts but hey, it was worth it. Material is quite strong and it took him a while to get the big plastic squeak out. Thats basically what it is. A big squeak in a fuzzy pocket, no padding or fluff to get everywhere. I did keep putting it back in and sewing the hole up until the squeak was damaged and for safety i binned it (my boy was heartbroken for a couple of days trying to find it).

Got this for my new dog. She really likes it and took it up to bed with her the first night. She has a mad 10 minutes with it every day biting it and tossing it around. So far it has survived this treatment. Kong toys were recommended by a friend who said they were tougher than others. I particularly like that the squeaker in this toy is right down the middle so it squeaks no matter where she grabs it - a hit.

I wish it would be bigger for large dog. My dog love the squeaker inside so got thru fabric in no time, but he likes to destroy.soft toys. However as it's Kong was expecting to last a bit longer. Positive side is as advertised no mess as there isn't filling inside apart from squeaker and that is a good quality and my dog still plays with it.Comparing with other toys in this price range I would recommend it.

Bought this for my Staff as he loves nothing more than chewing holes in soft squeaky toys. And although he's working his way through the material (I've re-sewed twice now) he hasn't managed to kill the squeaky in it's harder casing, The Material also lends it's self to fixing and is fairly strong. I also like the fact that im not constantly clearing up the fluff that normally surrounds his soft squeaky toys

Unlike most of her other King teddies, this one is a bit hard and scrunchy, so our cocker spaniel who pretty much destroys every toy (which means she loves it) hasn't been able to do this one any harm as yet.. And it's been 3 weeks and it reviews the most attention. That's honestly saying a lot cause some toys don't make it past an hour. I'm really surprised but very pleased!
