This is the perfect pocket sized tool if you do a lot of work on din rails. 0.5-2.5mm covers all the ferrules you’re likely to use. Search Knipex 97 99 906 if you want a good assortment of ferrules to compliment and come in a handy dispenser too.Usual Knipex Quality. Crimping is effortless with perfect results every time.No need for VDE version as I can’t imagine anyone doing this work live but they were on offer and at £20 a bargain.Top Marks!

Brilliant, hard-wearing and accurately machined tool. From my experience you can't go wrong with Knipex. Perfect tool as an alternative, at a much lower cost than the auto-adjusting crimping tools.

These are a slightly expensive but useful tool for the modern electrician with the need to ferrule super fine wire cables, especially in ceiling roses
