Bought to leave round a friend's house for when she needs things mending.They still had sharp corners along the edges of the teeth and on the backs of the jaws so I used a small diamond file to make them less likely to accidentally cut skin or snag on soft material.Very nice pliers: the jaws are shaped to grip better than ordinary serrated flat jaws - and they do. The handles are comfortable. The pivot did not need to be worn in like some pliers. They feel very strong.I am pleased with these pliers - I almost kept them for myself.

As with all Knipex tools these are well made quality items and do a good job. They are quite small (145 mm) which makes them small enough to keep in a toolbelt pocket but they are also strong enough to do a decent job of holding/cutting/twisting etc. Very handy pliers. Would buy again if needed.
