This is a great little co-operative game my children (12 and 8) are happy to play with together. It has puzzle solving elements which appealed to my oldest and the ability to be very destructive/ run around and hit things which appealed to my youngest. Knack II combines some lateral thinking puzzles with platform style gaming and fights with enemy robots, there is a lot of running around some nicely inventive worlds. As a two player game it is non-competitive and it also doesn’t rely on both players finishing a tricky jump/climb which can be frustrating, only one needs to complete the section and the other can teleport to them. Players do need to collaborate for some of the puzzles, moving bricks around to climb over obstacles, pressing buttons at the same time or holding down handles to open and close doors. The characters can get bigger by collecting relics as they go around or shrink down to a tiny size. New fighting moves can be earned as the players move around the game, armoured shells can be created and the characters get to drive tanks and robots (together). My children are really enjoying this immersive game and it is definitely cutting down the squabbles over the PS4.

Despite the very marmite response to the first game, I love the concept as it reminds me so much of all my childhood console gaming that consisted of checkpoint level style, button mashing fun like of Banjo Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot and Pokemon Stadium. The second instalment is much more of a defined game using the same concepts of building knack up or shrinking him down to avoid objects or complete puzzles, but it feels properly developed now.The whole thing feels a lot more thought out which appeals to both adults and children as there is a requirement of skill based dynamics as well as figuring out the puzzles. Plus the combat is brilliant fun, just don't think too much about the random story and things that happen, this game is simply fun to the core. As always with games, don't knock it until you've tried it!

Much like Watch Dogs 2 - the sequel is much better than the original. I can't put 5 stars as this is not exactly a masterpiece and never can be if you're into other game genres to start with, but it's still a good game to play for anyone. I can't remember why I wasn't fond on the 1st one apart from it being quite frustrating to play - enemies were overpowered. In any case this one is so much better. I like the story, the graphics, how smooth it runs and how fast it loads on PS4 Pro. And it's not a short game too - I invested more than 10h in it (getting very close to the end) and still like it. Usually 7-8h is enough for me for non-open World games. At this price I can recommend it to anyone.

The first Knack was a fun game if a little repetitive. Knack 2 has gone up a level but still a little repetitive at times. It's still a fun game though focusing a little bit more on platforming compared to Knack. Not too much though because If it was I would never have bought it. A decent story line and graphically really nice, especially if you have a Pro. You don't necessarily have to have played the first one to enjoy this sequal. Still fighting Goblins and Robots and still collecting hidden powerups. Overall worth the 25 quid but probably not much more.

Great game I can play with the kids . Co op is much better in this one and the level design is better. All round excellent game , I think the ps4 needs more of these to get the family playing together , instead of me on call of duty and kids on Minecraft or Lego world's. When the kids play it on there own can get a little confused on what to do. Daughters 10 and son 7 and they also give it the thumbs up.

Bought this for my son who is 7 and he loves it, but the coop on it means that his 4 year old sister can play with him without any problems. Very forgiving system means that you don't get stuck with any of the platforming as if your in the same area for too long it indicates what you need to do. Combat is simple but fun and regenerating health means that its not very hard.

Nice game for kids 9yrs+. Got it as a gift for my nephew. He had played Knack 1 in the past, getting hooked to this was no surprise. The graphics, gameplay, story are good and were acceptable to his parents. The double player game mode is average not very great. You are not listing much if you can't play dual player mode. Looking forward to the next edition

it's a great little sequel with plenty of actions and improvements. my daughter and I completed the coop on the first one about 10/11 times. and the coop on this is so much better. and there are great team play features meaning both players have an equal responsibility to survive and complete challenges.

I wasn't expecting a great deal from this game as it wasn't particularly successful, but it turned out to be great. It was perfect for my kids (5 and 10) to play together, and it was still fun enough for me to take turns playing with them. Good puzzles, fights, and plenty of pace.

Same great fun if you played the first Knack... even had a decent follow up story.Knack has even developed his skill set in the way that you would have hoped for.My 8yr old loves this game... it’s definitely an idea game for the kids and can occupy them for hours!

A breath of fresh air from all the shooting games and full gritty realism of modern gaming . This game offers tons of fun for anyone it's a massive improvement over the first one . Another great ps4 exclusive

It has taken a long time to be released but Knack 2 is even better than the first Knack in my humble opinion. You now have equal two player co-op, rather than a main player and sidekick.

A great follow up to knack the game has its usual bits off surprises maybe it’s the PS4 trying to come up with a loveable character like the ps1 had with crash bandicoot

Ordered the wrong one to start with and sent it back for the correct one, it is an age problem what do we pensioners know one game from another.
