It plays similarly to classics like Dungeon Keeper, and some of its forced humour could definitely use a bit of work.

A modern day remake of the PC Classic- Dungeon Keeper, which takes a while to get into, but is definitely worth the effort.Edit. Having completed the Campaign today, I was ultimately left wanting more, and tbh it ended up feeling a little too easy for my liking (I managed to get through the whole thing using mainly Orcs and Naga Queens, and without bothering to read the manual). I'll certainly be starting a new playthrough, after I've read the manual, to see what I missed the first time around, and will try to shake things up with my overall approach to keep it fresh. I'd still recommend the game, without hesitation, as it is a joy to play.

You can easily lose hours and hours to this game. You take the part of the evil dungeon master to wipe out the good guys. With elements akin to some of the old command & conquer style games (build your base with the relevant material gathering / making facilities and then create an army to complete the mission - later on you get to upgrade your production facilities and combat units). The missions are good fun and replayable to try out new techniques, the occasional raid on your dungeon and the ability to build traps to defeat these interlopers adds to the fun element.

Enjoyable modern take on dungeon keeper. Well worth it at this price.
