Gravity rush 2 is fun, I can't deny that but sadly it has it's issues, sure the game has become much more varied adding some new stuff to the gravity shifters arsenal but they also took some stuff away and that gave it some issues, I played the first one again on the PS4 (the HD remake) just to see if I was just bored of the same old game and I was surprised to find that the original play's better!? the enemies are fast but appropriately so where as in this they are too fast...no I mean to fast!! as soon as the camera pans around the tougher enemies are usually already on their attack run towards you leaving you enough time to dodge and hope you turn fast enough the second time, the first games abilities/specials actually worked, doing damage to enemies and bosses alike where as in this they barely work on enemies and boss type enemies are pretty much either immune or just impossible to hit, the game tries to add something new but in reality it's just a poor re-skin of kat's ultimate shoot skill in the first game which didn't require objects to be close by dood. (Non existent objects if I may add as there are rarely any around dood)That said the world is huge and looks great and the story is a nice end to a great series despite all it's fault's such as faulty hit boxes and terrible enemy mechanics this time around, that and it tries it's best to add more thing's to do and it kinda succeeds but at the expense of making kat a lot weaker than she ever was, although this was probably intentional to make the little extra something they add near the end of the game seem more exceptional than it already is dood.So basically this game is a visual improvement with some mechanics tweaked to be...worse? but it still remains a fun game, if they ever do a third game my only suggestion to improve it would be to not have a gravity meter at all if they keep the enemy speed's as they are now or slow it down so it's more like the original where you could hit enemies because they aren't moving faster than you, other than that some of the new mechanics are great in concept and I hope they use them appropriately and improve on them in any future games they do dood.

My advice is: play the demo on the PlayStation Store. If you don't enjoy just flying around you probably won't enjoy this game.Like the first Gravity Rush, there's a lot of travelling and fairly tedious missions. For someone like me, who has a blast just running, sliding and flying around as Kat, that's great, but, again, if you don't get a lot of fun out of Kat's basic abilities, I imagine you'll get bored and frustrated pretty quickly. That's not to say Gravity Rush 2 doesn't have it's fair share of thrilling moments. The bosses and air battles in this game feel much larger scale and more important than in the original. At some points the game gets so crazy it almost feels Bayonetta-esque.Keep in mind if you haven't played the original Gravity Rush you won't know what's going on here. The game will throw characters and references at you and doesn't care to explain it. Though to be fair, you really should play the original anyway. The world in this game is HUGE. Jirga Para Lhao, where all the new stuff is, makes much better use of vertical space, and is way more fun to fly and fall in. Hekseville is back as well (that's not a spoiler, it's literally in the description), and it looks great on PS4. With these two areas you have a huge playground full of different themes, people, music and missions. In my opinion, this game is what happens when developers are given a big budget for something they're truly passionate about. The extra power of the PS4 and budget of this game makes it so much bigger and better than the original Gravity Rush, and there's so much care and detail put into every single aspect. You're in for something special here.

I had to come back to this game after initially finding the gravity shifts and perspective changes a bit tricky (to put it mildly!) - but now I rate it as an all-time classic game, an absolute gem with a colossal amount of care and detail put into it by the development team. The gameplay mechanics are original and fun, it's relaxing on easy missions or just roaming around, but you need to learn it properly to do things well in short timescales (I'm still learning). The visuals and art style are totally marvellous. It's cute, with lovable characters, with static cartoon screens with speech bubbles which really work, and are amusing too, with some sharp wit to enjoy. There are a vast amount of missions and side quests. The game-world is one of the best I've seen in any game, any system. It's beautiful and fascinating, with wide variety.Gravity Rush 2 is simply fun to play, it puts a smile on my face every time and immerses the player in a new reality, one where you want to see what's next.An absolute classic, and looking at social media, it's really gratifying to see the following this one has. Look forward to the next iteration on PS5, hopefully!

It's not that the gameplay is very well thought out, but it is that the mechanics themselves that are incredibly fun to use.Falling, jumping and sliding around haven't gotten old, even after beating the game, many hours later.- The story is enjoyable and you'll definitely want to see it to the end, but every once in a while it lost me with how convenient plot points come together. The dialogue is well written though and the comic panels are beautifully drawn.- The side missions don't speak that much to me. In most cases you help out other characters by doing mostly mundane tasks that seem to make a mockery out of Kat's powers. They do offer some fun dialogue and always reward you with some item at the end, making doing the majority of them worth it.- The asymmetric online functionality is surprisingly fun! They require you to have a decent understanding of the big world to find hidden treasures or find the quickest route in a race.- Overall, a solid game. Not everything is carried out exceptionally well, but it is incredibly fun and unique. A real palette cleanser!

really stunning looking game, vast improvement over the equally wonderful and enjoyable gravity 1, the futuristic world is so colorful and alive such a joy to just walk around admiring the views and vistas, its a big world with some epic and fantastic boss battles, a must buy if your looking for something fresh and different away from the norm.Creativity like this shouldn't be ignored and just amazed at the lack of interest thus far, but then again being launched in the same window as resident evil 7 will steal its thunder, but trust me if you are looking too branch out your game collection and want something lively and way more upbeat and anime like after playing res then this the one, fantastic and enjoyable game that is highly addictive and should not be missed.

Realy good open world game, lovely graphics and nice onlinline features. It reminds me of a ps2 game in the best possible way. im not muCh of a fan of the open world genre but i am enjoying this distinctly Japanese take on the formula. I love its abstract nature, and the graphics are great, its nice to see a nice simple camera system, and its easy to get great photos due to the games sheer beauty, i miss japanese games and there seem to be some really good stuff coming out of japan at the minute. Anyway if you like beautiful graphics, open worlds and japanese action games this is a must buy

This is a great game that I highly recommend to anyone who likes this sort of game. It's so sad this game is so underated and is definitely an obscure gem. Although GR 2 does have some flaws, such as the finicky and unintuitive Camara and controls that you often find yourself having to fight against as much as the antagonist.Although It is not quite a favourite of mine as Persona 5 and Neir Automata are, it's definitely worth a shot playing

This game pretty much wraps up the Gravity Rush story,so much so that it feels like two games in one.The gameplay is the same as the first game with some added ways of getting around and fighting but overall its more of the same. There is a lot of content here especially if you do all the side missions of which there are lots.A great game and if you enjoyed the first then its a no brainer.

I bought this and the PS4 remaster of the Classic PsVita game Gravity Rush, and I'm looking forward to immersing myself in the further super-heroic adventures of Kat and Raven.Free bonus DLC : 3 more costumes for Kat (including 2B's outfit from NieR: Automata) and a whole new solo adventure for Raven.

One of my favourite games. If you have never played this game you have not lived. This game is an experience every gamer should have. It's highly unrated and it deserves more. If you have a PS4 I recommend you play the Remastered version of Gravity Rush then get this game. It's worth it.

I haven't finished the game yet but I'm about 20 hours in and so far the game has been amazing! Don't let the cartoon graphics fool you. This game looks beautiful on a 1080p tv. The camera can be annoying to deal with at times but it doesn't take away from the overall experience!

31.1.2017

This game is phenomenal, the story line is amazing, the gameplay was so smooth, the side missions and everything, it was just one of the best games I've played. It was entertaining, fun and exciting throughout the whole game and the photocamera aspect adds just that extra touch.

I got this for my sister since she enjoyed the first one on the VITA alot! She likes this one more and has been playing it for a few days straight now. I haven't been able to go on my PS4 for a while now. I might also give it a try after she has completed it, looks really fun
