The one and only decent potato peeler in my humble opinion! I'm very fussy with what I use to peel the spuds - it has to be easy to use and fast. My current peeler is like this one, so when signs of rust appeared on my current one, I was keen to find exactly the same model. Took a while, but this is the one. I've tested it out and it's quite simply the most efficient potato peeler I've ever found in over 40 years of spud peeling. This looks as if it's the exact identical to my current peeler - I hope it lasts as long (looks like it will) because my current one has served me well for at least a decade. I can't get on with the bean shredder thing at the end,

I used this for the first time today and oooooooo, it was lovely to easily peel a potato again. had an identical one for about 15 years until it suddenly disappeared one day ( probably into the compost bin with the peelings by mistake) and I have never found one that I feel comfortable with - and I've tried many. How one can be so happy with such a small basic item I don't know, but I am. I'd give it 6 out of 5 if I could!!!

I have used these peelers for the last 50 years, starting when I had to do the spuds for a seaside hotel in my school holidays in the 1960s! You have to break them in, wear the cutting edge down a bit and then they are brilliant and last years. They disappeared off the market for about 10 years and I am so pleased to find them again. Once they have been used a bit they are brilliant!

Some of the reviews weren't good for this item but I have found the peeler works very well and as expected. Perhaps it does not peel as finely as my previous one but that is not a problem. I searched hard to find a peeler similar to the one I had for many years and have been happy with this purchase. I haven't used the bean slicer yet.

Bought this for my 70 year old dad to replace a really old one which he had been using for decades. It had gone all rusty so got him this one which looks just like his old one but better as this one is all stainless steel. It's hard to find these old-fashioned type peelers but glad I found one. It will be nice and sharp for him too :)

In my opinion a cooks dream tool. I first used one in 1970, it sits comfortably in the palm of my hand and the bean shredder makes it the perfect length to hold. i admit I have never used the shredder but I love it as a peeler. Really pleased to find this on Amazon.

This was the only stainless steel bean slicer I could find. It slices the beans brilliantly. I was disappointed it does not have a cutter for the ends and I have to use a knife. However, it slices well and is excellent value for money.

I had had one of these peelers for many years but unfortunately it was thrown out by accident and I despaired of finding another one. Thankfully it is the same model but of course it is much newer and therefore sharper. Brilliant.

After looking for a proper vegetable peeler for nearly 3 months, after throwing my old favourite away with the veggie peelings!, I came across this little gem. really good to hold and sharp. Just the ticket!

Good kitchen tool, but it seems to be unavailable in shops.Two days on - second use and the peeler fell apart.Review was obviously too soon after taking possession. Now realised this is a load of rubbish.

I have used a similar item for over 20 years but eventually it broke. This replacement item does all that my original did and was a lot sharper and just as easy to use. Cannot do without it.

Peeler is fantastic and cuts VERY well. Bean slicer could be a little better but as beans are now finished I cannot make a definitive judgement. Service from supplier was excellent.

As described. So pleased because my present one is years old. Don't want to say how old. Have never been able to buy one in shop or store. Very prompt service. No problems.

I bought this peeler as a gift for a family friend. He loved it and said it worked brilliantly. As a result I've enjoyed many beautifully peeled beans this summer! :-)

I cannot believe that everyone in the world does not want one of these. They used to cost about 50p but now you can't find them. The ultimate kitchen utensil.
