Love this chopper, just what I needed to save time dicing.First of all... you need to chop your veg to a reasonable size and only put a small handful in at a time and it will work perfectly. This is for fine dicing rather than chopping whole or half veg, I see one review where they tried putting a half onion in... it won't cope with that. For onion chop into a few slices quickly then halve the stick a few in. For carrots chop into lengths that will fit then halve the width/diameter.It works really well and fast, is small and doesn't take up a lot of room in the cupboard. Perfect for dicing veg small enough for soup and lasagne. I use it several times a week and with a toddler I need to save every min I can.

So scale back your expectations if you have come here having watched the Slap Chop advert!The Slap Chop actually gets crummy reviews so I went with this...This thing is for fine chopping — and it certainly makes quick work of it!So if you do a lot of cooking from scratch then honestly a gadget like this is gold dust!To work efficiently, I’ll be honest, you have to cut onions into quarters really. That gives you an idea of how big things need to be for this thing to be able to cope.I went straight for half an onion (too ambitious!) and it just got wedged up and stuck on the blades.So besides onions and garlic, you can make a great home made salsa by adding in different ingredients, onions, chilli,

I needed an urgent replacement for my much larger vegetable chopper and so was a bit dubious about this one especially when it arrived and it was half the size of my previous one. I need not have worried. This is an excellent product and crikey does it chop vegetables quickly and amazingly well. A couple of chops and you have brilliantly chopped up carrots, potatoes, celery, onions whatever. A smashing little piece of equipment I really couldn't do without. Excellent kitchen utensil - one not to be without.

I was looking for something to chop ginger, turmeric & garlic for my curry.It is great, don’t try to put too much in at once though.It is best to strip it down to get all the food out as a lot of it gets into the upper compartment because there is quite a wide gap between the blades & the guides at the top.The only difficulty is to try & get all the food out.I always wash it straight away.

Bought this to chop a medium onion, does the job perfectly. Onion should be cut in half and each half quartered, place the quartered half in the chopper and the onion is finely chopped in less than a minute. Easy to take apart and clean. I have a small kitchen with little storage space and the chopper takes little room in my unit.

I bought this for a friend who is disabled. Makes his life much easier in the kitchen.It's reasonably sturdy and does what it says on the box. Only issue so far is the plastic stains easy and it's not the easiest thing to keep clean unless it goes through a dishwasher. Otherwise though I do recommend it.

Did I see James May use this and immediately go online to buy it for myself because it looked so much fun and like it would make chopping vegetables easier? YesDo I use it daily? YesHas it improved my life? YES!Get those vegetables perfectly chopped, and also release a bit of stress at the same time!

We have been looking for this type of a vegetable chopper for a long time. We are so pleased with this as it so much more sturdier than we expected it to be and it’s so easy to clean. Definitely a gadget well worth a space in our kitchen. It will be much loved and used daily.

If you get this veg/onion chopper you will be wishing that there were more stars than just five. It does an extremely wonderful job, onions diced in a matter of seconds and all with a pumping action, segments of apple again diced in seconds, it will be used by me forever!

Honesty the best thing I think I have bought of amazon. After all these years cutting onions with a knife you can never get them a chopped up as you want but with this thing it’s great and it’s like you get more onion out of it with how small it chops them

Does the job, sometimes can get stuck and can be a bit fiddly with all the parts but still quicker than chopping garlic the normal way for me.Can only fit small cuts of vegetables in but I only purchased for garlic, herbs and chillies so works for me.

the chopper is quite good in its design and material (compared to its price). Everything is good and I am happy. The only thing would worry me is the cleaning would be a bit tough, however, the design is most parts can be detached. Overall, recommend.

quick delivery and well packed quality item.had one of these years ago,this item is for fine chopping don't go putting half an onion or other veg to large as it won't chop as it should... i slice most veg first then fine chop with this and its ok.

Absolutely loved this product. I used it for onions (cut them in quarters first, chopping 2 at a time), garlic, cucumber and courgettes. Very easy to dismantle, clean and put back together. Brilliant for the price. Wouldn't be without it now.

Chops up stuff well, provided the stuff to be chopped is pre cut to a manageable size, about 3 x 3 cm. and of course, the stuff is choppable. Mushrooms, ok, raw potatoes a bit too firm.Feels reasonably solid, but use within its limitations.
