Let me tell you that I am normally a big fat sucker when it comes to kitchen gadgets! You name it, I probably have it! So when I saw the advert for the "Nicer Dicer", I was mesmerised. But having bought so many other gadgets in the past and either been disappointed or used them once and chucked them in the cupboard, I was determined not to fall for it this time.But the advert looked amazing so I started doing my research - looking at reviews and alternative brands. I found that the "Nicer Dicer" didn't have many good reviews. And there were also so many cheaper versions avaliable - also with bad reviews. Then I came across this on Amazon and the reviews looked too good to be true.

I cannot live without this product!!!!! Whether it is chopping onion, celery and carrot to cook with the Sunday roast to form the basis for a robust gravy/jus or fort he basis of an amazing bolognese sauce, this product is the bees knees of food choppers.I must admit, I spent several days researching and looking at other review before finally choosing this one, but I certainly wasn't disappointed!You do have to be careful that you cut down some of the veg that you are chopping, otherwise they can become stuck. So think logically and quarter an onion, chop the carrot end in half at least.... Otherwise you risk having to sit on it like you might sit on a suitcase trying to get that last bikini in for your summer holiday!

After going through my second Nicer Dicer, I though I'd try something different and found this. Firstly, it's well made. It feels solid and chunky, where the nicer dicer blades can feel a bit flimsy. The chopper blades make easy work of onions, but they need to be quartered first. It makes carrot sticks with ease, once you get the positioning right. The slicing attachment sliced a tomato and lettuce, something which the nicer dicer didn't do well. The box is a good size and is well made and strong, with a well fitting lid. It comes with two little combs that make short work of cleaning the top pusher and a rinse with cold water is all it needs.

Love, Love, LOVE this item. If you hate chopping veg & fruit like me, then this is a great item for you. I did quite a lot of research on the best non electric chopper, and this came up as the best (in my own reviews). Bought it and haven't chopped a thing since! I use it every day, for salads and veg for cooking. Cooking and food prep is so much nicer, when you speed up all the menial jobs like chopping.I have had this for over a month and have chopped: carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, courgettes, eggs on a daily basis. It cuts it perfectly. Yes, you do have to slam it down a bit when doing carrots and tomatoes (so they don't flatten, but rather dice perfectly), but,

Bought October 2015 as really wanted something that was easy, mess free and actually cut all vegetables and I also wanted something my husband could use without the reason (excuse) that he is left handed and can not use right handed equipment. So I have used this for chopping onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers with no issues at all, extremely easy and mess free and I love it! I am confident it will cut harder vegetable like carrots, potatoes, swedes with a little more effort of cutting to manageable cutting pieces for this. I am also confident that this can be used by either hand and is therefore a useful tool for me getting others to help me more in the kitchen, this is most certainly a benefit.

Really impressed, better than my friend's one that he paid double for. White handle / top is really sturdy. I can understand some peoples concerns over the quality of the clear container, it is a little flimsy but not with verticle stresses if it's used correctly. I've used mine daily for well over a month and no damage.Tips:- Slam, don't press. Give the handle a good whack down rather than slowly applying pressure, it cuts much better.- Potatoes don't cut well (or at all in my one and only try). Having said that, I haven't tried half a potato like I do with onions so that may work

Very useful gadget, that saves time and effort. My only issue is that it can be a little bit difficult to clean all the little shreds of food matter from every corner of the chopping blade. To be honest I don't bother. But some people might not be happy with that. Otherwise, highly recommended to save time and energy. I find it works best and easiest if you do a swift chop down from high up, rather than resting it on the food and trying to push the blade through. I have used it for all sorts of vegetable matter.

This chopper is amazing! My husband and I can't decide which we love more: this gadget or each other. We chop a LOT of onions, a LOT. This has made it so easy, it feels like we're cheating. I haven't used it on other veggies, except red capsicum which worked fine. I wish I could say this does a whole lot of other things but it's a pretty straightforward, one note gadget. But I think it's worth the amount of space it takes up. God bless the maker of this device!

I bought this to replace a very old model that was exactly the same but in a green colour. It works superbly to chop carrots, peppers, onions, cucumber etc. I usually just peel and chop into segments, the chopper then dices it perfectly. There are two sizes of chopping blades so if you need it more finely chopped, no bother. If this lasts as long as the last one, which was about seven years, I will be very happy. I use it every day, easily washed too.

I bought this one after read all the other reviews.Easy to use, not need much "Power" to press down. very helpful little tools in kitchen.but still need to rough cut the vegetables firstly, don't dream to bought something to cut ur vegetables to small pieces without roughly cut them, peel them or even wash them.If you do need something totally amazing and do all the jobs for you, then you should buy a hugh "Food Processor Machine"

Hands down, one of the MOST fantastic and efficient kitchen/home essentials I've ever bought...whoever made this is briiiant and kudos to amazon for selling this item....I bought this months ago and there are only a hand full of things i use as much as i use this. Irreplacable and indispensable. Dishwasher safe, easy storage, bottom container doubles up as a storage container and comes with a Lid too! 100% Recommend. Awesome Product!

This is great. I thought I would never be the type of person that took delight in such things but it's really useful. I have a mandolin too which is great for slicing. It's a shame there aren't different size dice as I would have liked smaller ones too but these give you a good size for onions, peppers, celery etc in stews, salsa, salads etc. You'll never have to chop onions again! But be a bit careful as the blades are really sharp

Great product, was very difficult to find a good chopper and after thorough research had to trust my instincts and bought this. It does the job with confidence. Cuts onions and tomatoes easily in a sec although you need to slice them into half before you place them on the chopper blades. Been using it since 2 months and will certainly last for years as the make is of really good quality and strong hard plastic:)))

Fantastic product cuts everything I've tried so far including apple, carrot and onion, all of which I thought it might struggle with. Comes with two different chopper attachments and a lid for the bottom section so that it stores well in the fridge. A brilliant bit of kitchen equipment which saves time, effort and mess. A must buy

I bought the chopper for myself last year and my daughter wanted one when she saw how useful it was. I couldn't find it anywhere but eventually looked at Amazon and it was there. I love mine for chopping all veg, my daughter does too but she now has a new baby and it will be very useful when he is being weaned. It stores well too.
