I am using floor leveling compound and one or two other things at the wrong time of the year so wanted something that created a warm draught. It works rather well. Unlike some people I don't expect this type heater to have anything glowing red hot. I expect to be able to feel cold air going in and warmer air coming out in rather large volumes. It does that rather well. Some people refer to them as space heaters. We sometimes visit a place that will have been unheated for long periods and use another make to warm the bedroom up. It takes about 1hr to do that. This model seems to be just a effective. A little noisier than the other one probably down to the 3kw rating. Fans are always noisy if they shift a lot of air.

Brilliant robust unit, perfect for workshop etc. One tiny negative, the 'Fan only' function should not depend on the Thermostat setting, [Manufacturer please note], but otherwise excellent!

Perfect for my husband's workshop. Even on the coldest of winter days, it keeps the room at a workable temperature. An inexpensive way of getting him out from under my feet.

Excellent, takes a moment to come up to temperature and a little noisy but good for a workshop. Compact design which sits safely on the floor.

Great price and great piece of kit that works very well. I use it in a van and it works a treat for the cold winter mornings.

A nice steady heat, works perfectly for our requirement (16m x 6m production area) with no other heating source.
