It looked to be a strong and stable foot pump, but was out of stock. I checked a number of others but decided this looked to be the best by some way, so I ordered one. Amazon kept me informed very well about progress in re-stocking and got them back much sooner than first suggested. So it's here now and first impression and first use, (just keeping tyre pressures up to where they give me very good fuel consumption, at the maximum pressures recommended by the car manufacturer), in what became quite a short wait was well worthwhile.Looks and feels strong. A nice broad and stable foot area and it gets air into the tyres quickly. Yes, a fair bit of leg work needed, but I'd far rather have that than a single width pump where your foot kept slipping off, or where the pump just tipped over.Nice strong box too that will fit into the boot nicely with the pump inside.Fingers crossed, but I reckon this is a very good piece of kit. And at a decent price.

I bought this to replace an aging foot pump that we bought from a motorway service station several years ago.It is well made, and extremely efficient at pumping air into our car tyres. It is perhaps because of this that it requires a lot of foot pressure when pumping, so it is perhaps not for those with weaker legs.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and happy to recommend it.Note added later: After two years of good service the unit has started jamming and is no longer fit for use. It was used almost exclusively on just one car with well maintained tyres, so its clearly a unit best kept for emergency use.

I usually have an electric pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter of my car. Since the cigarette lighter no longer works and I often have a slow puncture on at least one tyre, I decided it was time to buy a foot pump. I wasn't sure how much effort this would take but it actually takes less time to pump a tyre with this than it does with the electric pump - not to mention this is quiet so I don't wake up the neighbours at 6am in the morning. There is also the added bonus of a morning leg workout - seriously not that much effort required, the pump does the hard work for you.

Seems well made, and sturdy under foot. It does take some pressure to operate and I find that I sometimes I have one foot pressing down on the pump and the other foot in the air, so would not recommend for anyone with serious weakness in leg or foot. Not sure how accurate the gauge is. My car tyres need to be at 32 pounds but having used a reasonably expensive gauge, to check that they are at that pressure, the foot pump gauge then shows them at 30 pounds. Overall, so far, well pleased

The pump is well constructed, and also works well. The problem is the gauge, it is 6 lbs out. I checked it on my car using a tyre pressure gauge, which read 22 psi, which is spot on for my car, but the gauge read 16 psi. I checked the back tyres, which are 24 psi with the tyre pressure gauge, but the pump read 18 psi. Well that least it is consistent. Conclusion: Well constructed and the pump works very well, but the gauge is not calibrated correctly.

This is a well put together food pump, and is stronger than the others that I have had in the past. I like the locking latch, which makes it easier to store away. When you pump, you know you're putting air in as it fills the tyre quite quickly. You may end up with an aching leg mind, as it has some spring in it.Gage on it is so-so; I'm unsure if it reads correctly, but I know when I'm happy with my motorcycle tyres at the rough PSI.

Purchased this as a replacement for one which 'gave up the ghost' after years of excellent service. This pump appears to be a great improvement on our previous one and my husband particularly likes the large foot plate.Only time will tell if will provide the years of service our previous pump gave - will wait in earnest!

I glued the rubber feet on as they were loose, the unit is compact and the hose easily fits on my Nissan Juke tyre valves, the pressure dial is accurate as I checked it against my digital one. To go up 1psi took around 6 pumps. Nice looking unit and there is a locking bar that holds it closed.

Its a foot pump and it does the job quickly. The built in tyre gauge is way inaccurate so buy a separate one to get the pressures right. The first time I used this on my motorbike I just used the built in gauge and it put in far too high a pressure and affected the handling very badly.

We have used this new sturdy and seemingly well made foot pump for the car a good number of times so far. Much less foot-pumping needed than with the old less powerful models we had before. Have not yet tried it on the bicycle, but plan to. So far, so very good. Thank you.

I haven't used this yet, so I'll report back later.I bought this to replace the flimsy piece of rubbish I got from Argos.I only used the Argos one a few times, but its over 12 months old. It a bent out of shape.I don't think this is going to happen with this one.

Only used it twice to pump up my car tyre while I got an issue with the rims sorted. Seemed to pump up reasonably quickly and currently no issues with build quality, little bag of extras is likely to get lost but other than that seems decent value for money.

The best foot pump that I have ever come across. Doesn't topple over and no leaks from the valve. Requires a modest amount of strength, so probably not suitable for someone elderly or infirm. Always check the final pressure with a separate gauge to be sure.

first use - much better than other foot pumps for car and bicycle. Gives what seems like an accurate reading which is stable and consistent. . Connects and disconnects easily and without great loss of pressure. Pumps up bike tyres quickly.

Used about 10 times seems good solid as can be.. Is quite hard to push down when tyres get up to pressure... Could do with some kind of better non slip material on foot plate slip off few times when wet. But all in all I am pleased with.
