I thought the Plastics on this aren't *super* high grade, but they are not poor grade either (at the cost I think all the plastic handle could easily have been fully silicone coated)The scraper function in the video ad seems a little exaggerated to me as the green silicone (or rubber) on the reverse of the brush area is quite a small piece,it does function to an extent though. As a dish brush, it is perhaps a tad too soft from new - also ours had quite a few stray bristles that had to be snipped off with nail scissors after taking it from the retail display card.At the price we paid that was not expected, and was really not ok. We did not ask for a replacement at the time,so perhaps shouldn't moan as much here.Positives are that the angle of the handle on this JJ when compared to the oxo good grips makes it much less difficult to press down and scrub something, so less pressure is required to make some contact with washing up as it's already angled and it is extremely comfortable to use.I have both, and I prefer this JJ for the angle it starts out at for everyday light to medium force scrubbing and the I prefer the oxo gg for when i need to use brute force on baked on food without having to think about bristle wear. The oxo good grips bristles just seem less delicate (to the eyes and initial touch) it feels like it has much stiffer bristles from new and is of course much cheaper to replace but with not the same level of comfort to the user.I agree with Anna, about this JJ not always staying put after use on the sink edge too.I'd say get one if you like the colour & design as I did,and if they pop down a bit in price, all the better.Keep in mind the softer bristles aren't really for *super heavy* scrubbing but more suited to the kind of washing up you do soon after having used your dishes.I think a lot of money has gone on marketing ,advertising and concept here, hence the current higher cost of this item. However if not used for very tough jobs it should stay very good looking for some time. Not suited for contact with very high temperature ovenware, rinse very hot items with cold water first, then add warm in your bowl/sink water to suit.

I do love this! The green goes with my kitchen (and other Joseph Joseph kitchen accessories I have) but mostly, I cannot believe how I ever managed with an integrated sink rest! To be fair, I don't think I've ever had a need for one before as I've always found such an item is perfectly accessible when kept in a utensil pot/sink tidy on the window ledge over the sink. However, as I've not had a window ledge anywhere near my sink (which shares the island where it's situated with a breakfast bar) since moving into my bungalow a year ago, it was a problem and having to keep bending down to retrieve it from the cupboard under the sink was a pain.

I like Joseph-Joseph products in the main and think this product well thought-out. ... As others have remarked, more pricey than the average brush and this more 'gentle' than other types I've used over the years. The upright 'rest' feature, is, (when the brush is not in use) a nice touch. ... On the 'downside' though, some of the bristles have bent after a just couple of months moderate use ... ☹ So I'm thinking that this brush will not be any more long-lasting than the average dish brush costing half the price.

Keeps the sink clear and does a good job of the pots. The curve on the handle makes it a different angle than I am used to, but it still works. The ability to hang it on the edge of the sink is nice to keep the sides clear (and stop it getting burried under your flatmates dirty dishes when he decides to bring them downstairs at at last!)Dropped a star becuase the hanging ability isnt really essential and barely worth it for the price increase over an average brush.

My mum originally bought one for us with a stand and it was great! We since ordered a basic one and have been disappointedWe definitely will be sticking with the Jospeh Joseph oneIt has a comfy to hold handle and the bristles don’t come out after lots of use like some cheaper alternatives. It also holds its shape well!Best dish brush ever haha I really do love it! I don’t work for Joseph Joseph either, this is genuine dish brush love!

It had never occurred to me that you could put a brush in the dishwasher but you can with this one. The scraper is useful and the brush strong enough to clean but gentle enough not to ruin any thing. It easily sits on the edge of the sink, and I also have the one for cleaning glasses. More expensive than your average brush but my previous brush only lasted a week before it fell apart. This is much better!

Yes it's a washing up brush but if, like me, you have quite a few Joseph Joseph products, it's nice to know that they all match.I love the way you're able to 'hang' this from your sink.A bit on the expensive side, but the feel of the handle is solid and works well when you're cleaning pans and anything that doesn't fit in a dishwasher (if you have one). All in all a great buy.

I've got a lovely new black glass sink and wanted something to enhance it. As already said, the brush slips off the side when wet but I've got a dishwasher anyhow and don't use it much. It looks really great and the brush drys nicely but after a few weeks, the brushes have worn really quickly. Don't consider this to be very good value therefore ... Shame as need another now.

I was in two minds about this, but I liked the idea ... it’s famtatsic! Sit unassuming on the side of ur sink out the way but there just when you need it. I didn’t think I was going to get on the the softer than usually brissels, but it’s a revolution! Works better, you don’t need to scrub away! It’s great! love it ... well as much love as you can when it comes to washing up

I wouldn't have believed I could fall in love with a dish brush but believe me, this is THE dish brush of dish brushes. It is absolutely amazing, it's a great shape, the bristles are almost soft, they don't spray water over me but they really get things clean. Not only that it hangs onto the side of the sink. Genius! It is truly amazing, worth every penny.

At rest the brush is so well balanced it even hangs on the edge of a rounded sink or my sink tidy. Looks very smart next to my black sink. In action the tip is designed to scrape off any stubborn food which is stuck to dishes. Bristles firm enough to work properly without scratching delicate glass. Never realised there was so much to say about a brush!

We had an ikea brush, and replaced it with this one. This runs rings around it - the bristles are much stronger; the head fits perfectly in things like jars; the bristles are far enough apart to clean it well; and the stand on the side means it sits nicely on the edge of our sink. Can't comment on longevity, but great purchase so far.

This brush is a direct replacement for my old brush, I love it so much I bought 2 so I could have a spare. The JosephJoseph dish brush is very durable and lasts for ages. I love that the handle has the ability to hang either on the sink or draining board, it keeps it tidy and allows it to drain and dry out properly.

This is an expensive washing up brush. However you do get what you pay for with this product, it’s strong hardwaring and easy to store and use. It’s our lasted 3 cheap brushes and the first one was purchased lasted over 2 years before we felt it needed to be changed, at no point did the brush loose any Bristles.

Although a little more expensive than almost any alternative, these are great. Excellent quality and the functionality of the scraper on the back / hook on the side and the sturdy bristles make this a very effective and long-lasting item for the kitchen sink. Looks as good as a dish brush can, too...
