This bottle opener's killer feature is the magnetic head that holds onto the metal bottle caps as they come up, so they don't fly off somewhere or make a mess. It does hold onto the caps pretty well and it's possible to open 3 or 4 bottles before having to pull off the caps to make room for more. It's nice and compact and easy to store and keep clean, plus it looks really smart. It can be stored stood upright on its flat end or hung up from the handle end if there's no room in your drawer.My only complaint is that I find it slightly less easy to use than a traditional metal bottle opener. It can slip off sideways if the cap is a bit stubborn,

One of the other reviewers compared this to marmite and I do see the comparison.On one hand this is a very stylish looking bottle opener and the magnetic element does work which is quite fun. I know the picture shows 4 bottle caps on at once but realistically that won't happen, but for two beers opening quickly it's a nice little twist having the caps stuck to it for easier disposal rather than flying every and anywhere.But... on holiday I bought a key ring bottle opener from an American garage for a dollar which works just as well, it just means I have to pick the lids up myself - hardly the end of the world really is it?If, like me, you have a friend who loves craft beers then this is a perfect present for them.

A very easy to use bottle opener. The magnetic holding of the tops is great as it stops them falling every where. Is very neat and doesn't take up a lot of space. Very pleased with this product.
