So I am a week into using these headphones and all I can say is wow. I have a pair of Jabra 65t elite true wireless headphones that I use constantly but these cans are brilliant in comparison. The comfort of the headphones are unreal and they snap to your head so tight that they do not move. I can honestly say with the ANC on that I heard nothing else but the music that was projected through them.I used them on a 5 mile run and they did not move unlike the jabra's that when running I had to remove and reapply as they became loose. I have one downside and that is the buttons on the earphones as they are small and it is very easy to hit the wrong one. This maybe due to me being unfamiliar with with the set up to be fair though.Alexa and Google assistant are both available and both work well but setting it up took a few attempts. The assistant is easier to use than the jabra as it is just a quick press of the right ear and it fires up. JBL has set up a fine app which controls the earphones to your own setting and it does have a few presets but these are limited. The app has scope for massive improvements and upgrades and if thus happens it will be a force to be reckoned with. I think as you may tell I am impressed with these headphones and would highly recommend. The bass is brilliant and the sound is rich and no sign of distortion even when on full blast (warning full blast is loud, loud enough to be heard like a speaker when off your ears.) and when on full my wife who was sat next to me was not even able to hear it.The storage bag that is supplied is not brilliant for the money I would have preferred something more sturdy but this is personal choice I think. The battery life is exceptional but to be expected with a set of cans due to the chance of a larger battery.

I would be shocked if you could find a better NC headphone in this price range or even higher.I compared these to Beats Studio3 NC, AKG N60nc and Seinheiser PXC 550NC, keep in mind that all 3 of these have a higher retail than the 650BTnc.All 4 are great headphones and each have there positives and negatives however I will explain why I would choose the 650bt over these other options.Cons - A little heavySlight hollow sound with NC offButtons still a little difficult to locate at first usePros -Battery Marathon ChampSolid feel, qualitySimple operationComfortableReference soundDuring testing I used a Samsung Note 8 with Dolby Atmos. The sound quality is something you typically only find on reference headphones. For a Bluetooth NC headphone they are truly something, the clarity and precision that they deliver is leaps and bounds ahead of anything 4 years ago. The active noise cancelling works very well and leaves nothing to want. You can enjoy your music or movie on a plane train or bus without an issue. The battery lasts forever, I used them 3 days without needing to charge them.Being over ear phones they do get a little warm but that comes with these types, if that is an issue I would recommend on ear as they stay much cooler.Set-up is a breeze and they even prompt you to install the app. Overall I think you cannot find a better over ear set in this price range and you will not be disappointed. Included:- Storage Bag with soft lining- Wired cord for use when battery is drained- Quality Charging cord- Instructions booklet-Cheers [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I absolutely love these headphones! To begin with, the sound quality is first-rate, as it has been with other JBL products I've used, in addition to which the Live650's are super light and comfortable. As far as the active noise cancelling goes, I've read tech articles that would indicate that the feature mostly works with low frequency droning kinds of noises like you'd experience in flight. I haven't had the chance to use them on a flight yet, but I do know that this feature works pretty well in a noisy gym too. Yes, Ive been using them during pretty active gym workouts....which I'm fairly sure they weren't designed for....and, because of the great fit, they stay put pretty well.In terms of other features, the phone app is really handy and is a simple way to control and adjust the equalizer function. The Google Assistant/Alexa function works well enough but maybe isn't quite as useful. The only negatives Ive experienced so far are the typically.. for JBL ..small control buttons which require a degree of manual dexterity that I'm apparently missing, and the fact that they seem particularly sensitive to wind when used outdoors. But they probably weren't designed for outdoor activities in the first place. Anyway, the Live650's represent a really good product at what seems to be a competitive price. I couldn't be happier with them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I go back many years with JBL (speakers & phones). Solid quality, smooth sound.I haven't had a chance yet to give the noise-canceling a go in the real world, but used with both a bluetooth receiver and my computes (my own videos & YouTube, etc.) the sound is quite good, seems a natural curve, solid at all levels, without any undue coloring. And yes, very comfortable.Negatives: Does not have a hard-shell case like my last two pairs did (this has a soft cloth bag not too sturdy for luggage/airport use). Worst feature, beating out the last pair. It's like they held a competition for world's worst-possible "quick guide"/instructions. Not only vague and with no attempt at simple, grammatical step-by-step instruction on important things like Bluetooth pairing, NC, phone, and other things. Not only is it poorly written with zero concern for user experience, it is microscopically small. But then it goes an extra mile and puts white text on off-white paper. (Well, one is grey-toned, slightly). Like a photo of a polar bear in a snow storm. It is rare to see this horrid approach to unreadable, useless text instructions, but this takes it to a new level. (And like past models, finding it readable, online, is a daunting task too. I ended up taking a photo online and printing it, to be able to read it at all, as lit magnifying glass did nothing to read the white-on-white text). Wow.

To start I really loved these headphones. They're comfortable to wear even for long listening sessions and the ear cups themselves are quite nice. They band is soft and applies enough clamping pressure that they stay on even during physical activity but is not so much that they become painful to wear. The audio quality is excellent especially when using the active noise cancellation. Which actually does a very good job. It easily drowns out noise such as the hum of an engine or the noise of a crowd. The only thing I would say is to make sure that it is always turned on as when it is off the audio quality sounds a bit funny. That may just be down to me being used to it always being on but I still figured I'd mention it.The battery is great and defiantly meets the stated 20 hours on the box and the fast recharge speed is helpful too. I'm an apple person so the google assistant and Alexa integration I didn't use much of but for people in those ecosystems it's nice to have. The app that it comes with is also really helpful and allows you to either use EQ presets or make your own which I think is a really cool option. Overall these are some great headphones and really stand out when taking they're price into consideration. I would highly recommend them and I can't wait to continue using them in the future. Form: Out of the box it has a great look. Very well made and feels like a million bux in your hands. They are not overly sized. The color option will please most and I like the overall appearance of the headphones. Clearly JBL put a lot of thought into the design. Fit:The fell of them in your hands screams quality. Very smooth lines and feel very comfortable on your head. I wore mine for a 2 hour intense workout and at no time did I want to remove them. They cover your ears completely and will not fall or slip off once you make the adjustments to fit your head. Function: JBL didn't overdo this set. They have the number of functions that most would expect. VERY easy to hook up to your bluetooth enabled device.Took me about 5 seconds to hook up. The range is very good and the sound is what you would expect from a JBL product. I wish it had a little more power, but that's just me. The bass response is very good and the highs are crisp and clear. The noise cancelling is the best I've ever experienced in any headphone. Overall I am very impressed with this unit. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well rounded headphone that they can wear all day. A+ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Noise Cancelling - The noise cancelling is excellent. Compared to other noise cancelling products on the market this is up there with the best (Bose QC etc.) but at the fraction of the price! Train and plane journeys are no problem at all with these.Sound quality - The sound quality is comfortably the best I have heard at this price point. The app gives you the flexibility to configure the sound as you like and what suits the audio you are listening to. I use them for both watching movies and listening to different genres of music and have never once thought that the sound was lacking. I can watch Netflix etc. using the Bluetooth with no sound delay what so ever, unlike others I have used.Very impressedComfort - These are very comfortable. I have sat on long commutes for up to 3 hours, until I have felt the need to adjust or remove them. The over ear design obviously helps with this.Aesthetics and feel - These headphones look great. They look and feel like they are built from good quality materials and are very sturdy. The only real criticism I would make would be the buttons. They are hard to find when on the ears, and also feel a bit cheap when pressing; however this is being very critical.

after years of searching for the most outstanding headphones i have finally found them.I have purchased inear / over ear/ wired /wireless but could never get that all round satisfaction until now !! so 2 weeks ago i decided to give the jbl 650btnc a try after wasting time and money on other various headsets. my parcel arrived and once opened i started thinking this is it just looking and feeling the quality i knew straight away i had struck gold. After unpacking the headphones i started to charge them and just waited in anticipation to get these going . bluetooth connection was easy. ithen put these headphones on and WOW the comfort was noticed immediately the pads that covered my ears straight away cancelled any outside noise then the music started .i was greeted with a superb deep rich bass perfect mid range and treble and i just knew i was completely satisfied with my purchase.jbl have made the most complete headphone available i would suggest to anyone not to waste anymore money on headphones just purchase these for and you will not be disappointed . the only one issue is the dust bag supplied could have been about 2in bigger so the headphones fitted in with more ease

I like the overall quality (both construction and sound). Works well, with my Mac mini, MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad. The volume seems to be somewhat lower when using it via bluetooth than via wires. Battery lasts long enough for a 15 hour flight.I REALLY don't like the audio cable. The cable's cover made of cloth/fabric as opposed to some plasticky/rubbery stuff like most cables. As a result, it touches your clothes and it creates a horrible noise every time you breathe or turn your head 0.001 inches. Not to mention the wire is on the opposite side of the headphones, since most (if not all) headphones have the cable running down on the LEFT. This one has the cable running on the RIGHT so if you are using it with a laptop (Mac)the wire will cross in front of you. Coupled with the fabric cable the constant noise it produces in the right cup is really bad. I can't even switch the cable out to a 3rd party because it has a non-standard smaller than 3.5mm jack that goes into the headphone. I wish JBL would send out replacement cables made of plastic/rubber instead of this ridiculous fabric one.

I bought these as a gift for myself to use at work. I am about two weeks into using them and they have worked as expected. The active noise cancelling does not block 100% of noise (loud noises or close proximity noises can be heard), you can still hear some sound, however it still works great for blocking out busy workplace noises. The connection is quick and works great on several of my devices. The ear cuffs are really comfortable as well, but they do get pretty hot after hours of wearing them. I have not test the duration of the battery, but i have had no problem at 4 hours of constant use. It is a nice bonus to have the cord attachment in case the battery does run out.Really the only upgrade this could use is a mini SD card input for users to add their music to and play when completely unconnected. SIDE NOTE: I had family over for the holidays and my day cannot hear well (hearing aids in both hears even), but i hooked the headphones up to my TV (bluetooth) and he was able to enjoy a movie even while the rest of the noisy family was being super loud.

I've had previous experience with other active noise canceling headphones, but these are like no other. The music is clear with crisp highs and lows. The noise canceling feature really creates a sense of serenity with whatever you're listening to your music but beware. Once you switch the ANC on with your music playing, you can't hear anything but the music. It's tornado season and when I received these headphones, I started using them everyday to binge watch movies or listen to music before going to bed. A tornado siren went off next to my house and all I could were explosions and gunfire coming from Tom Cruise's gun. These headphones are magic. The only complaint I have with these Live 650's is that I wish the bass hit lower and harder.Other than that, I highly recommend them if you're a fellow binge watcher or music fanatic. It's one of the best budget noise-canceling headphones you can find on the market. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Had these about a month now and I'm very impressed. The noise cancelling is perfect for my daily commute on the tram and bus. When you put them on it feels as though your in a vacuum. Very good tech. They're build superbly, and the quality of the sound is great. You hear sounds you've never heard before, you can also tweek the EQ in the JBL app. I dont really use Google Assist as an apple user, but operating Siri is so easy, just a double tap on the left ear JBL sign and boom, there's Siri. They're very comfy and fit great over my ears. It's a little awkward when wearing my sunglasses as they don't fit snug because of the lenses. It doesn't affect the noise cancelling though that I noticed. That bag is comes with comes in handy to, to keep them clean when at work and to keep the cables with the headset. Although saying that. I use them for a few hours a day, everyday, and I only seem to change them once a week. Cracking product.

I've been testing this pair of headphones as part of a review and would say that I'm fairly pleased with them. There are quite a few noise-cancelling (NC) headphones available on the market, some of which are fairly expensive, however this pair fits nicely in the mid-range of the market. Whilst the NC is not as good as when compared to the higher end of the market, I think they do a reasonable job of it - I've not had a chance to test in on an airplane yet, which is my main test for it, but does seem to cut down on external sounds. The noise isolation from the headphones which fit snugly (but not uncomfortably) is quite good, which adds to the NC effect. The design is quite nice and simple, yet stylish and after getting the volume end and NC end of the controls mixed up a few times you get the hang of pressing buttons without having to take off the headphones. The bass is a little weak for my liking but overall sound quality is good.

Placing these headphones on my head for the first time and listening to a mix on TIdal, had my feet a tappin. These are so much fun to listen to, making the music come alive with great dynamics and punchy bass. Very cool combination of fabric and plastic makes them look great and very comfortable with reasonable clamping presuure. Add the plus of a compact foldable headphone makes this a great travelling companion. While the noise canceling was satisfactory the sound of the music made up for this small shortcoming. Alexa worked OK, but if I am jammin I dont need to know the current weather or a new brownie mix.If you are like me, I listen to a ton of music every day, with a variety that would question my sanity. These provided the musicality for all genre's and as such made it difficult to remove from my skull. A ton of fun and highly recommended! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Let's start with how dang comfortable these guys are. I took them to Chile with me and with over 22 hours of flying (one way) these guys NEVER hurt my ears. In fact they helped me sleep. Moving to the actual sound quality. As self-proclaimed Audiophile I'm pretty picky about speakers and headphones. JBL never disappoints. These have an incredibly dynamic range and TRUE sound. I don't like coloration in headphones especially when listening to classics where you know what they should sound like. The highs are crisp and clean. The mids are not muddy and the lows are smooth and well rounded. Plus they look freaking sexy. The ONLY small con I have is they could have a bit more drive. Just a tad more power. But adding a nice headphone amp should take care of that just fine. All in all these are amazing headphones at a very very reasonable price.
