I’ve had one of these for the last few winters. It’s brilliant for cold weather dog walking - much easier than changing into warm trousers and more versatile than a long coat. Not too heavy to put in a rucksack in case, and much easier to haul on over boots than insulated trousers if you do get cold.The zip unzips from the bottom, not the top, so that you can create room for leg movement if you want to wear it, as I do, when clambering over stiles, on rough ground, or on a bike, or, the original purpose, when skiing. (Another reviewer suggests the zip direction is a mistake. It isn’t. It’s how active use skirts are designed.)Might get another one now there are new colours.

Lovely cosy skirt. Sizing a bit strange I ordered the small and according to the Jack Wolfskin sizing it is between an 8 & 12. I am a size 10 and this is on the neat side at the waist but I'm keeping it anyway. The zip down the right hand side of the skirt.....I think is upside down it opens from bottom to top and unless you totally unzip it you can't get in to the skirt, personally I think it would've been better zipped from top to bottom. But this is only being picky. It is a good length and will be great for when I go skiing with warm tights and boots. Definitely recommend ? Update have decided to get the zip changed for easier access

Well made and not too bulky. Will add warmth around hips and upper thighs when wearing a short jacket. Easy to put on and sits nicely. Only four stars as not yet tried and tested so waiting for winter months. Will review again when I've had it in use. Definitely good value at sale price!

Such a good idea for cold climates. Great design shape provides a break from winter jeans. Zippers down from the top to put on, works well, but takes some getting used to. A double ended zipper would have made more sense.

I ordered my normal size and it fit. For me, the length above the knee, the quality of the zipper and the material were very important. Would have liked to order a different color. Haven't washed yet. Warms, wonderful.

The skirt is great the only thing I would change is the zipper, if you could zip it part way so you can step in and out instead of having to unzip it all the way each time then it would be perfect.

Really cute. Haven't tested it in the cold but I am happy with style, construction.Update: Keeps you warm! Easy to throw on over leggings. Still happy.

Not only an awesome fit but it looks fantastic too. Does the job it was intended to do.....keeps those thighs and hips toasty warm. Love it!

Great for snowboarding or skiing. Kept me warm and dry. Was a little larger than expected but nothing too bad.

Love this skirt, it’s perfect for skiing. I wear it over my ski pants. It’s so comfortable.
