Nice extra layer to have in colder climates in Winter. I've used mine in Norway at temps as low as -30c on the Hardangervidda mountain plateau where others around me were complaining and these were a perfect extra layer. As others have said, a bit tight so if you're usually a M, do yourself a favour and order a L. Didn't matter so much for me as I've lost weight over the past few months but I can imagine it being annoying otherwise. No info on the down fill power I could find so I assume it isn't the best down but it's still plenty warm. Only improvements I could think of would be making the design box-fill so there's no cold spots and adding toggles to the ankles so they can be cinched up tight.

I bought these for standing on the sidelines watching my son play football in all weathers. They have not disappointed at all, I usually wear long johns underneath then these I can say my legs are toasty warm, can’t feel the wind at all. They are a snug fit so read all the reviews, I am 6’1 and a 34/36 waist and I certainly wouldn’t want them to be any smaller. The only drawback is they have no side pockets only one rear pocket which has a little bag in it to store them if you are hiking/camping, it’s a bit annoying for a guy as I am so used to putting stuff in my pockets ! I have overlooked this point and still love them, but hence the 4 stars!

Did not have chance to use them yet, but the quality looks good, exactly as described. The fit is good, but a bit more room around the hips would be nice. They will still fit well over light base.
