Great model but no packaging whatsoever.......I've had a few kits from Japan and they do a good job but this had zero packaging and for such a big model bad news. The torpedo door opening on the hull itself, (both sides) was cracked but this is fixable and was probably caused by the carrier despite what I said above.If anyone from Italeri reads this you need just a bit of bubble wrap over the torpedo openings on the hull.(please note this review is for the boat kit).......posted by mistake re the crew kit

I have bought from Italia the crew and and a speedboat model kit they are very good but not if you're a beginner you would have to build a couple of models before attempting this it is quite complicated to put together but well worth it if you have built models before

Necessary addition to give scale to a large model. Recommend to all building the e boat.
