This model of the Talon uses a different upper than the 212 classic and the folding material is a bit uncomfortable over the toes, especially at the beginning of a run.The harder material of the lugs (this is the graphene model) also means you feel each lug through the sole more than on an older inov8 model.Finally (and this might be personal) the lacing pattern of newer inov8 models forces my heel to the outside of the shoe and doesn’t let me pronate without really loosening the laces.Sizing is consistent with other inov8.When these wear out I’ll be back to regular 212 classics.

Was disappointed! the shoes on my first run had some rubber come off its meant to be toughest material in world!? The shoes are really small and narrow and I have narrow feet. Easily size up at least a whole size or full. Will prob try inov8 again as hoping was just a defect.
