I purchased for trip to Iceland and wanted to have an addition to my existing SmartWools. These are lighter weight than my SM's as expected based upon research. Also, as reviewers stated: the fit was such that I bought a small instead of medium and was just right, are a little short for me as I am on the taller side of average, but not a problem to me, and they do stretch out and get a little Baggie until rewashed.

My girlfriend loves them. She says they are warm and feel like yoga pants she loves wearing all the time. I got them for her to wear under ski pants while going snow mobile riding because I have some too but men version. She had them on today under yoga pants when riding the motorcycle but no longer riding a CBR 1000 RR now the BMW 1000 RR is king! Doing the snow mobile riding trip next week.

Very soft wool. Looser weave/ thinner than the more expensive Icebreakers. Good for pyjamas/ cold house/ moderately cold winter outside, not for severe weather. Only factor I'm not over the moon about is the seams, which are fold over and therefore not as comfortable as other Icebreaker longjohns I have with woven, flat seams. Not as comfortable under trousers, fine for pyjamas.

I love these leggings! Very comfortable, light enough that I can wear under jeans or as leggings under a dress or skirt and be protected from the cold but not so heavy that they are bulky or make me overheat inside. Be warned that they are slightly shear, which makes them better for wearing under a skirt or dress, but you would have to be very bold to wear them as pants.

I Wear these year round. This was a great price. I am Tall and thin. I Always order up one size, sometimes two sizes. These are not baggy, nor are they skin tight. I don't find them to be sheer at all. Ice breakers run small, maybe that is why some people are finding these leggings sheer. Great product.

I love these leggings, they are basically see through so if you think you are buying them to wear on their own, that is not their purpose. We have had some -30 temperatures as of late & I was warm with these under my jeans. Very happy! I basically slept in them as well and was so comfy & warm in bed!

Got to layer under polar fleece leggings for extra cold days outside. Would size down from what your normal size may be. The band on top is very stretchy and the leggings themselves are surprisingly soft for wool. Have not had an issue with them stretching out since I purchased them.

Perfect for cold weather! I purchased to wear in Paris and Rome. (Temperatures were down to the 20's F). Of course I was still a bit cold but not teeth chattering! :) I also purchased the Icebreaker Women's Siren Tank along with it to wear under my sweaters.

These thermals are great quality, light-weight, warm and wash well. The image for the "velvet" leggings gives a better idea of how they look than the black; they are quite thin and so are a little see-through. I am a UK 10 and found the small a perfect fit.

nice fit and very comfortable, i brought extra small and am a size 8. slight itchy feel when you first put them on but do not irritate while wearing them. i tend to use them as a baselayer under other trousers, they would, be too thin to wear alone

Great fit & feel, well made, warm, can wear under jeans but not flimsy like the silk ones. I just pray they don't stop making these like the other great ones I had from Sweden a few years back. I wear them all the time and Love Them.

you can't go wrong with ice breaker, these tights are slim enough to fit under jeans or any other pants so you don't freeze to death in the winter. soft and DO NOT PUT IN DRYER they last and worth every penny

I am 5'5" and 120 lbs., and these base layer pants fit well. No ankle cuffs that ride up. Waist is cut low enough to not show over normal below the waist pants. Warm. I even wear them with a skirt.

Loved them. They provide warmth for cold weather and feel really comfortable. The wool is very soft and you barely feel it. Fits great under leggings or pants. Will buy again.
