Layers are just that , layers . But it’s important to layer with the correct stuff !Merino is amazing because it’s not itchy, not thick but yet it keeps you warm !I went I Iceland with approx zero temp and minus 10 with the windchill in the countryside . I wore these with ski windproof trousers on top . Perfect !!! No cold legs at all !!These have a nice thick waist band so no tight pain around the stomach and old bulges here and there .I purchased a medium and I’m a 10-12 . I would def buy some more of these !!

These were thin, warm, soft, and did not stretch. True to wool, they were worn on four successive days without odor. First line of successful cold defense! Have washed on gentle twice will Woolite and no problems. Would buy again.

Good quality and usually very expensive if bought in a store. Used them to go hunting and they kept me warm.
