Fantastic shirt - functionally perfect at wicking away sweat and a fairly generous fit. I use it underneath other garments as a way of keeping me cool when at the gym, and also preventing too much jiggling about (if you know what I mean). I would agree with another review that this is not a solution for a muffin top - but then again if you are wearing it in the gym then surely that's what all your hard work is aiming to achieve?I fell slightly between a large and XL size, and I ordered an XL at first. This stood me in good stead for a month or so but as I started to tone up I feel it slightly too big. As a result I ordered a L and this is a bit too much the other way but neither is uncomfortable or non-performant.I suspect in a few months that I will be relying on the smaller size which puts me slap bang in the recommenced height/weight sizing guides from the UA website. If you are carrying a bit too much of the soft stuff and near the top of a size band then go one up.The top washes well and keeps it's shape but I have noticed that it can retain odour if you leave it a while before washing. I would suggest getting it cleaned soon after use, but this is probably a testament to how good the material is at retaining moisture (and not letting it go afterwards).

A well fitting compression shirt, it improves upon my old Nike ones (which have lost some of their stretch/compression), and the material seems similar to a Reebok one I bought recently - both have fixed the issue of the hem riding up.I managed to get away with a medium, not being particularly large (44-45 chest, 32-33 waist), the shirt appears to support without restricting movement nor being particularly tight. It was probably psychological effect, but I thought the shirt was worth a kilo or so extra on a dumbbell bench press. For a light workout, the material does appear to dry quite quickly; though sweat profusely and you'll see huge patches (especially on darker colours like grey) on the back, neck and a characteristic 'U' shaped sweat patch between the pectorals (good marketing for UnderArmor, perhaps).I would imagine it would be a good layering piece for colder weather, for running outdoors. Just be aware that any muffin tops are going to show (tip - squidge them into shorts/tracksuit bottom, and pull the shirt over the waistline).Recommended

One of, if not the best and most comfortable compression tops I've ever bought and great value @£8.99 as a Black Friday deal. I'm 6'2" with a chest size of 41", I weigh 12st 10 and the large size is a perfect fit; I've totally fallen in love with Under Armour gear and have to date purchased a total of 12 other T~Shirts in a range of styles and fits.I would highly recommend this product and others from the Under Armour range. Have bought a second compression T~Shirt when the price reduced again @£9.99 and even @£14.90 the current price listing, this is still a great value product. Another update, purchased a third black version on 4/12/19 also @£9.99, the other two white versions still look as new, even after many washes. Have had no lingering odour issues after use, as some reviewers have stated, using dove deodorant might be the solution! If this review has been helpful please click on the button. ???

I have purchased two of these and found that they wick sweat very well and reduce chest rubbing on long runs. I have used as a base-layer and a t-shirt (in warmer months) and found them to be comfortable and good quality. I'm 5ft 11 with 37 inch chest / 32 inch waist and i did find the medium size a tight fit, yes - I know they're meant to be tight but the large was a much better fit which gave a better balance of compression and comfort. In terms of colour, i should give a bit of a warning if you buy in white and you use as a solitary layer - should you sweat heavily, the top does appear transparent so may show through to your chest!! The blue colours are opaque and dont have the same issue.I've washed numerous times and they wash well, logos dont rub off and there is no lingering smell of body odour in my experience. Overall, good quality which you'd expect from UA.

I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I had used cheaper base layer stuff when cycling in the past and found they didn't really do the compression thing well, nor were they absorbent or quick drying....until I found Under Armour. Their products are simply amazing. The compression works well and has held its shape for YEARS. I am still using shirts I purchased in 2013 with no change in the compression!!When sizing, I get a size smaller than the size I wear in a standard t-shirt (I'm XL but can squeeze into a L). That helps me with the compression shirt base layer under my t-shirt or bike jersey. When taking care of them, I always wash in cold water (by hand or in washing machine)and NEVER use a clothes dryer. This will help your shirts stay in new condition for years.Overall a great product and well worth paying a little extra over the others!

I ordered a size Large to begin with, but for me (size 44" chest), the top came up a little tight for my liking, so I went ahead and ordered my usual size of XL which was still snug but fit much better. The compression top is very comfortable and very well made. I bought two.I've used them and washed (30 degrees Centigrade ) and dried them twice now and they still look brand new.Time will tell if they are hard-wearing but fingers crossed.I wear them for Yoga with my Under Armour Heat Gear leggings and the special material wicks away the sweat easily keeping you dry, even during Bikram Yoga in a 40 degree Centigrade room.I would recommend these tops to anyone as they look great, the seamlines help give the illusion you're slimmer than you are, and the best thing is that it keeps you cool by wicking away moisture efficiently.

I'm not impressed with this. It wasn't cheap, it was sent twice because of the Amz mistake, as soon as arrives it's now at the better price so I'm kind of not very happy with this purchase. I wear a size 'M of all clothing from UA, I love the brand but this top is just too small. And I found out it after the workout so I can't return it! It's disappointing. Luckily it fits under my arms, so I don't hate it but I also don't like it very much. HeatGear system works so great with leggings but with the top, it's not so great - I am sweating like a pig in it while I'm cool and dry under my waist - just weird feeling.I will keep testing as I haven't got much experience with compressed fit clothes but I expected more for twenty quid.

I own quite a few Under Armour tops which I use for weight training and running, and they continue to provide a great product at a great price. The quality of this item is fantastic for the price paid. The fit is as expected. The compression, for me, is about right - not too much, not too little. I have some Skins tops and, while they're fantastic quality and have much more compression, I just can't get them off once I've worked out because the compression is too strong (quite embarassing to be hopping around the gym changing room unable to get out of my kit...). Overall I really recommend this Under Armour gear and, in particular, when you look at the quality for the price,I don't think there's better value on the market.

Great product and very good quality. I am on my 3rd one of these (as I have lost weight, not because they wore out!) and all have worn and washed very very well. I think when you are bigger, you require a size up. I was originally an XXL in clothing, but an 3XL in these but as I've been losing weight, it has evened out. I now wear XL clothing and I also have this as XL which fits as expected. These are designed to be worn under a t-shirt or similar so expect them to be tight.Would 100% recommend, perfect for both the gym and playing badminton and makes me feel way more comfortable while doing sport. I always buy from Amazon around £12 rather than the £25 from Under Armours website.

Having only ever bought clothes from MyProtein, I thought that I should mix things up and for my next compression top, I should try Under Armour. The top I got is very next level stuff when it comes to the compression department. I have a 40" chest at 5'11" and opted in to get a medium. Looking back I should have bought a large but this is just as described, exactly like a second skin. Getting it on and off is a bit of a task but it wouldn't be a compression top if it wasn't now would it? This is great to be worn under other tops to keep you warm and to increase blood flow to your muscles. I will definitely be buying another

Good quality item, provides reasonable compression without being uncomfortably tight. I have 40in chest, weigh 12st 10lb and am in good shape. This garment is very unforgiving worn on its own though - any flab or bulges are very apparent. The large size fits well, though I suspect I could just about squeeze into a medium for extra compression - that would make it a hard job to get on and off mind you. Care label says to avoid fabric softeners, which I have. I have machine washed with colour care liquid and air dried, and there doesn't seem to have been any detrimental effect. May well give the long sleeve version a try too.

This T-shirt has joined me on my journey from being slightly over extra large down to needing a smaller size and through the journey has covered many hours and many miles of running and gym work. This item washes and wears very well, has not lost its shape or colour, no rips and looks as it did when new.The low neck line on this item means that it can be worn under other clothing without showing and the design in the material helps wick sweat away from the body helping keep you cool and dry.Very impressed and part of the reason I look towards the Under Armour brand for the bulk of my exercise gear

I love under armour clothing. If I could afford everything men's they sell, I would own it.The compression top fits perfectly and doesn't move once on.It wicks sweat away from the body very well, better than I had anticipated. It keeps you cool and allows me to train longer, which maybe psychological, but I have definitely noticed a difference. When I'm weight training, I feel I can get the mind muscle connection easier whilst wearing this top.The top is very quick drying and never seems to smell of sweat.Im excited for my next under armour purchase.Well recommended!

I’ve used under armour and other products before but wanted a short sleeve for the gym, bought this and am planning on buying another for when this is in the wash between uses.I wanted to give this a 5 star review but settles on 4 stars just because some of the thread from the stitched seams is pulling in several places but must say that I have worn this on a regular basis with jeans and a belt as an undershirt and this has no doubt contributed. I would still prefer it if the pulling stitching hadn’t occurred but am still very happy with the product and will buy again.

This is my first underarmour product. Found it to be very expensive on the website but was pleasantly surprised to see it available on amazon this season. I chose medium size for a 34 - 36 inch chest. Putting it on is a little tight around the shoulders but once you have worn it, my God. I have used compression clothing before but the freedom of movement as well as the instant cooling with this material is beyond belief. All the skin under the shirt feels like it is in an AC room when the wind touches it at a time when afternoon room temperatures at home are 40 degrees.
