I love the support and shape this bra gives. It's my favorite sports bra of all I've tried because it's so flattering and supportive.-I can do push ups without worrying that I'm hanging out in front - due to the style of the straps.-The combination of the diagonal seam across the cups and the pads inside the cups keep me stable and I've had two kids so this is a big issue for me!-It does not loose it's shape or stop supporting, even when soaking wet with sweat from a hard, high impact workout.-I also do some grappling wearing this bra and I do not have to worry about anything embarrassing showing - ever!!-The adjust-ability in back is awesome.(I do secure the back clasp before putting it on over my head.)-The back of the bra is nicely vented.-Allows for excellent mobility of the arms and shoulders because of the fast back style and the band of the bra sits lower on the back than most other bras.-Flattering shape works with a more muscular build. I work hard. I deserve to look good.-I machine wash this in a garment bag and it's held up very well to many washings and many tough workouts.Drawbacks:-Expensive-I wish this bra wicked away sweat or dried faster. It stays quite wet for a long time.-Diagonal seam shows through shirts.-The lining inside sometimes wrinkles and the removable pads get folded up while washing. I have to spend some time smoothing these out before putting the bra on.

I've used the Shock Absorber B5044 Womens Run Bra for a while now and it's great for support and comfort. I decided to go for this version for something more flattering, especially with the padding to cover any, ahem, pronounced 'bumps' when cold and avoid any unnecessary embarrassment!I am small chested (usually a B cup but I prefer to get an A cup in my usual back size in Shock Absorbers) but for me this is a very comfortable bra that keeps me well supported with virtually no movement at all. The fabric is very soft. Unless you have flexibility problems (i.e. if you need to put a standard bra on back to front to fasten it etc.) then you'll have no problems putting this bra on. Put it over your head, pull in position and then do the clasps up at the back. This will be my running bra of choice next time I need to get a new one. I'm very pleased with the comfort and support and would highly recommend it, at least for girls with smaller chests anyway. Girls with D cups and above might be better off looking at the D Shock Absorber Womens D+ Max Sports Bra Top, I used to be much bigger with a DD cup and know how bras for small chests can often be useless for bigger ones!

Firstly this isn't recommended for high-impact sports like running for larger busted women. As someone which a smaller bust, I picked this as a running bra for the same reason as most - I wanted something that would retain shape whilst providing support.I found it provided a good amount of support, although I can imagine a different, non-paddded bra might be more supportive.I had no problems with taking the bra on or off although I can see how it might be problematic for people with limited flexibility in their arms; however the majority of people needn't worry about this. The sizing I found perfect, I picked the same size I wear for regular bras and it had a good, snug fit.The one downside I found though was the style felt heavier than some bras I've tried and I was aware of the straps whist moving my arms which might annoy some.Overall as a running bra I would recommend this to smaller busted women only, it provides all the support I think I need, although be aware there are probably more supportive (less flattering) options out there.

If I were better at connecting the backstrap I would give it a 5. The look and support are amazing and hold up to my high intensity plyo/cardio moves very well. Based on other reviews I did buy up a band size, which seems to be OK because I wear a heart rate monitor strap underneath, so it gives a bit of extra room. If I didn't wear it though, regular size would probably be OK, as getting it over my head is not the problem, as it is for some others. This is now the only brand sport bra I will buy and am about to order more. My only issue is that you have to connect the strap after you pull it over your head. And I have never been able to connect my bras in the back without starting in the front and turning it around. So, having to put this over my head first is OK, but then it takes about 5-10 mins to connect the straps. If you're already good at this move then it won't matter to you. But, I may check out their other styles.

I got my first Pump bra 5 years ago and immediately bought 2 more as I run quite regularly and this bra felt the most comfortable. After a few years of rehab (damaged my knee) I am back to running and needed a new sports bra. I tried a few of the newer designs in the shop but then found that Shock Absorber is still making the Pump design and opted to get this instead. It's comfortable - the straps are wide and don't dig in. And the light padding means that I don't feel self-conscious about nipples showing through my clothes as some of them can be quite sheer.I am not sure how well this would work for someone with larger breasts - I am a 34B so don't need a great deal of support, just something that keeps me in place. This does the trick without feeling like I am wearing a straightjacket. I can run and breath comfortably without feeling too constrained but equally confident that everything is supported.

i read a few reviews saying they bought their actuall bra size and the product was too small. i decided to up a size, and purchase a 34c instead of 32, and i am very happy that i did so; the band fits snuggly and isnt too tight or too loose; the cup size is just a little too big, but i am that pleased i have purchased another but in a 34B for a more snug fit. i have ran in this bra several times, and barely notice that i even have boobs! it gives excellent support to my bust which isnt too big in the first place, but it makes for a comfortable run, without the usual chafing from cheaper materials and remains moderatly dry when i run in high temperatures.delivery was fine as it was being flown out to the gulf and i was suprised to recieve it as quickly as i did

I bought this to wear when running. My main problem with wearing a regular bra wasn't the support (I don't have the largest bust in the world) It was that the straps were Constantly slipping off my shoulders, meaning having to hitch them back up again every few seconds. Not ideal! After reading lots of reviews of other types I settled on this one and am so glad I did. My strap problem is now nonexistant and it is so supportive. I swear I didn't know what support was until I wore this! By the end I'd kind of forgotten I had boobs they were supported so well! It fits perfectly, some people are saying it's too hard to put on and take off, but it's really not that bad, and if it were easy it wouldn't be able to do its job!I highly recommend this!!

I love this sports bra! I bought several of theme as this was the only bra on the market that does not make my chest completely flat. All others that I have tried did. It provides great support with a nice cleavage.Yes, there is a down side to it. Its a bit tricky getting in and out of it as the hook and eye opening at the back does not give much way, especially once damp after the workout. The benefit of this bra being padded still out ways this negative point for me. I would highly recommend this bra for ladies with smaller cup sizes that don't want to look completely flat up top while exercising :-)Only giving it 4 stars due to the difficulty of putting the bra on/off.

Crikey - it actually works!!! Can't get over the difference between this sports bra and my previous one, which just squashed my chest completely flat but somehow I still bounced around in when running or even walking. No bounce at all in this one and it's far more comfortable (even lying on my back doing floor exercises - the hooks don't dig in at all). Ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly. Yes it's a bit difficult to do up the hooks at the back when putting it on so I just cheat and do it up first before putting it on! This bra has achieved the impossible and actually got me out running again, which was way too uncomfortable before - fabulous!

It is a good high impact sport bra. Well made and good material also. The material is not that thin so no nipples are shown, excellent for us girls!!! I love the band for more support and the padded pumps are removable. I usually wear 34B bra and this is somehow smaller but not enough to make you uncomfortable or unbreathable so I removed the pads to feel it larger (even without padds nipples are not shown) The design is kind of sexy. It is a little complicated to wear it on and off, if you are not flexible choose another bra better. I have been worn it during all day and it is great. Next time I will probably buy another one but one size larger.

After reading other reviews I was a bit concerned about how I'd get this bra on and off, but it was what I wanted for my Zumba classes so I took a chance. I'm very pleased with the bra, to begin with it can be difficult to get on and off but once I realised it had a fastener at the back that helped a lot. With regular wear it also stretches a bit but not in the wrong places. The bra does what is is supposed to and everything stays in place despite lots of shaking and jumping during my classes. It washes well and has removable pads which are easy to remove and replace once I realised how. I am very pleased with my purchase.

4.5.2012

I bought this padded sports bra as i am quite small chested and didn't want to be totally flat when doing Zumba or jogging. Well I am extremely happy with my nicely padded chest! The bra is easy to get on and I can reach round easily to do the clasps at the back. Due to the padding it is quite hot and gets pretty sweaty around the bust area but that is the price to pay for the padding. My only negative is that the straps could do with being a cm or two longer and as they aren't adjustable there is nothing you can do about it. I am quite small framed as well.

I was worried about sizing because of other peoples comments but I'm a 34DD bra size and I ordered a 34D shock absorber as they don't do a DD and it fits lovely - not too tight or anything. I bought this to replace a shock absorber which I have had for ages in a style now dis-continued - it was very similar in style to this one but had the side clip fasteners. This is almost the exact same shock absorber just with a rear clasp instead. The rear clasp has 3 adjustments. Would recommend to others and I am seriously thinking about purchasing another.

Comfortable and suppprtive, as promised. I have avoided sports bras for years because I found them very unflattering and embarrassing, but this is perfect and combines support with a good profile. I wear it for martial arts, including contact sparring, and can be training for hours without needing re-adjusting. Also it's padded enough not to need extra support, and I don't need to feel self-conscious or embarrassed when training with men. I'd recommend for anyone doing a high impact sport or anything that involves running or jumping.

I excercise a lot, so I now own 3 of these bras - 2 are the older version, where the design is slightly different (they used to fasten with a hook each side rather than one at the back). I think this new version is much improved - the material is softer and more stretchy, and I find it much easier to take on and off with the back fastener, rather than straining my neck trying to fasten each side.In short it gives great support, but still gives a good shape if you are a smaller cup size. I am just about to purchase another one...!
