In the mid 1980's, there were plenty of super comfortable, wonderfully supportive, well made bras with NO underwire available for purchase at a reasonable price. I had a favorite one that I bought at a local upscale department store - super cute, never chafed, never made my boobs look like floating bowls of jiggly pudding. Then, through the last half of the 80's and through the 90's, the trend for push-up bras with tortuous underwires began to appear. Soon, the comfy, nice looking, ones that make boobs look normal vanished or became so poorly made they literally fell apart in short order. I was a slim young woman back then, now, I am in the process of losing a bunch of weight. I love to exercise, but most sports bras just won't accommodate my 44D measurements, and I certainly can't use some "fluffy" push-up, balconette bra with a wire digging into my chest and arm pits while I'm working out!Undaunted, I began a relentless search for a nice looking, comfortable, well made, reasonably priced sport/workout type bra in my size that didn't look like a high necked, armored chest shield for a Valkyrie! I spotted this one here on Amazon and after reading the numerous positive comments, and considering the high ratio of good/over negative feedbacks, I took the plunge and bought one. I chose black. I'm wearing it right now. My tits feel like they've died and gone to heaven or at least transported back in time to those super comfy bras of yore! NO chafing, dramatically reduced bounce, strong, super comfortable bands all 'round, pretty style and fabric, low enough neck so it doesn't stick way up above a tank top, overall - fits like a "boob glove". I am so happy with this bra that I ran right back and bought another one in the 'desert sand' color. I haven't worked out hard in it yet, but judging by what I've experienced so far, I'm not worried.

I bought this bra for a trip to Thailand. It gets so hot and muggy out there that I knew I wanted a bra that would bring me support, wouldn't show through underneath my shirt and also could stand the heat! And yes this bra did the trick! It kept my boobies perfectly separate, not like the uniboob I usually get with sports bras. It fit exactly as I was hoping, I am a 34D and I got a Large, fit perfectly. I washed and dried it with no problems, the shape kept and there was no tears or loose stitches afterwards. Plus, I don't know if this is the material but it didn't stink at ALL. Like when I say I sweated, I mean I sweat so much I was just drenched. And the bra dried super quick, no smell, even when I had to go a week without washing. Sometimes my nipples showed through the bra but I couldn't see it through the shirt so for me that was fine. Also, I didn't get weird skin folds in the back that I sometimes get, so my back looked all nice and smooth which was awesome. I bought the bra for the trip but now I wear it whenever I want, even to work, it is lightweight, breathable, super comfortable, gives the boobies a good shape and you don't get any cup lines when wearing a shirt over. Ive had the bra for at least a month now, I've washed it well a lot of times, and it is as good as new. Totally worth it. And no I wasn't paid to say this or anything, I bought this sucker myself and this is my honest feedback.

i have bought my size before but it seems way tighter than the others of the same size. I even got a tape measure out to measure it against one of my others that is not tight. Not sure why it is so uncomfortable. I have worn it too much to feel that I can return it. So maybe I should try and stretch it for a bit. Maybe I gained a little weight or something and the others are stretched out. So I wear this bra because I had breast cancer and it was suggested and sold by a garment shop for cancer patients. This type of compression is needed sometimes for cancer patients and this company is highly recommended by these type of garment shops. I had all of my lymph nodes removed under my arm due to the breast cancer. So I was battling lymphedema. The compression from this garment helped keep the fluid from going into my arm as much and has greatly helped reduce the size of my arm on a regular basis. It is a great product. I just think every once in a while that size you wear just may be a little off. I love this product all in all and will buy it again. They have other nice versions too for cancer patients who need maximum compression.

Absolutely my favorite sports bra!! This model separates your breasts to prevent sweaty uniboob issues. The model that has no underwire to separate is great too, but not for larger busted women, in my opinion. I usually had to buy them at a specialty bra shoppe, it's very nice to have the source via Amazon to order online and have them sent to your home. I had to return the first order because I had ordered the same size as I wore in the non-wire model, so that may be something to consider. The return and re-order process was fantastic! No issues at all, promptly received new bras from vendor. There is also a minimizing effect with this bra. I have been fit at a professional bra store,so I did know from that experience what size I needed to order. I think it is the BEST way to get the correct bra cup and band size. Great fabric, breathes well, I hand wash or machine wash on delicate in the net lingerie bag I received as a gift with purchase. Hang dry, do not use the dryer to prolong wear and construction.

If you're like me you find disappointment in department stores and less than adequate options in specialty stores. Finding a quality made and proper fitting 36F (aka 36DDD) or larger in a sports bra is like the quest for the holy grail; the only thing more frustrating is finding the perfect pair of jeans. I've tried a variety of styles and most offer uni-boob, don't really fit, are impossible to put on and take off or are just painful to wear let alone workout in.That said, this bra is surprisingly comfortable, is made with sweat wicking material and keeps your natural shape in place during whatever level of intensity. It's exactly what I had been thinking of....how nice it would be to find the bras I wear normally made instead with sports friendly fabric. Bonus points to the slight compression it offers- a bit like a minimizer bra. And actually, there's no reason it couldn't become your everyday bra.I will buy more of these, I just wish they were less expensive.

I am so pleased with this product. I tried the underwire and the non underwire version of tips momentum bra. They boh provide equal support, are lightweight, and better than most sports bras on the market, and I have a 34DD! but the underwire version of this bra finally did what I thought no sports bra could do, separation and support without the need for constant adjustment throughout intense workouts! The non underwire version is great too but does require adjustment thought the workout which finally made me so frustrated that I tried the underwire version. I do boot camp workouts with jumping jacks and burpees and boxing workouts in this bra and I LOVE it. The sizing was a little off for me though.I ordered my normal 34DD size but the cups were too large and the band a little too loose, so I ordered a 32DD and a 34D for comparison. I liked both! And both fit better than the 34DD!! Buy this bra and try a couple different sizes until you find a perfect fit!!!!!

Disclaimer: I am not a runner; I do not know how this would work with running. I am over 50 with a very full cup shape and the sagging that is inevitable. I have tried tons and tons of bras; this is the first one that I absolutely love. It gives better support than my previous "everyday" bras. It minimizes a bit (a definite plus for me), but does not squash or squish boobs together. The bra straps hide well under all of my clothing. The double-layer construction does not hide all of the cold weather nipple look, but does a great job of minimizing it most of the time. The 4-hook closure in back is comfortable and does not dig into my back. I wear this daily, including to work, walking, roller skating, bicycling, on the elliptical machine, and lifting weights. If I were positive that I would never change bra sizes again, I would buy 100 of them! Note: I wear a 38DD in most bras and the 38E in this bra fits perfectly.

Purchased this bra in a size 34E and it fits smaller than the rest of my 34DDD's. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and the cup minimizes nicely, but the band is tight.UPDATED REVIEW: I exchanged the bra for a bigger size. I normally wear a 34ddd, so I ordered a 36e. I love this bra; it feels like I'm not wearing one. No seams digging into my skin, no riding up my back, straps don't dig into my shoulders, underwire is supportive, but you can't feel their presence. Of course I have some bounce when I run or jump rope, I expect that because of my bra size. Most importantly, there's no pain or chafing after running or jumping; and not only is it awesome for intense activities,it's also great for everyday wear. I wish the bra was not so expensive as I would love to have an extra.

Deserves 5 stars - fits exactly as my other bras do, NO UNIBOOB! It provides really great support - minimal bouncing - and is pretty comfortable considering everything is on lockdown (and no spillage anywhere). If you have to order a band size down, don't stress - the band is stretchy enough to handle. There are plenty of hooks if you have to go up a size too. It's my go-to sportsbra now and I will be ordering more. Have tested it in crossfit, jogging & yoga. Not one complaint. Have washed it several times - and dried it by mistake in the dryer - did not shrink. And it's pretty cool looking too in the black/silvery metallic color. I would buy again, and would also love to see it in a racer back.

This is a really great sports bra for someone with large breasts that want good support. I own it in white as well, and is the only bra I wear for working out and even hiking. It is comfortable enough to wear for low impact exercise as well as running. I wear Wacoal bras for my everyday bras, and wear a 32DD in that brand. I wear a 34E in this Anita Momentum bra. It doesn't cut into your skin, or push your breast out the side by your armpit. I have found many other bras which do this. I highly recommend this bra, it works great for me. 5'4 115 lbs. normal bra size 32DD, my exercise of choice is bootcamp.

Nice stuff. Fits very well. Very comfortable too. You could wear it all day. Sometimes I even forget am wearing bra. And yet, it's very firm and high impact shock absorber. I dance and jump big time but feel fully protected. I will definitely recommend this 100% either as sports bra or normal every day bra. Sometimes I feel like it's too good for a sports bra so I find myself looking for another sports bra, the typical slip over sports bra. It doesn't bite or cause any nasty marks or itching. It's just perfect. I've given it 4 because sometimes the Base tucks in under which isn't really a big deal.

This is the third Anita bra I've purchased, so it's safe to say this company has won my loyalty. These bras are long-lasting, truly high impact, amd super comfortable. I previously had the Anita momentum bra with no underwire in a 30F. This time around I decided to try the underwire version in a 32E. I like that this version has a more open V neck and thinner straps, which means I can wear it with a greater variety of tops and leotards for dance. Other than that, this bra is very similar in construction and material to the original momentum model. I highly recommend.

16.12.2012

I bought the two models of the Momentum line, and I have to say that I never wore bras like those before. Both run true to size, are really pretty, and to me are supportive enough. I know that some women were expecting for it to be more supportive, and prefer the Shock Absorber bras when it comes to running. It is not my case. I am a 32F and never felt comfortable in any Shock Absorber bra, so I do recommend this bra. But I'm more a dancer than a runner (I just start running twice a week), so maybe you should read the other reviews if you run more often than I do...

I really like this bra, it is the most comfortable 'sports bra' I have found. I can wear it for an intense workout with jogging and it holds everything in place. I also don't feel the need to get home and take it off immediately because it is so restrictive/tight, like other 'sports bras' I've tried. My only complaint is that the cups seem to be bigger than other B cups. I don't fill it out completely (and I've always thought I had average size B breasts), it wrinkles up in the nipple area; especially when I'm laying on my back for floor or bench work!

20.2.2013

I've been looking for a bra that I can wear during high impactcardio workouts, but one that also separates and looks flattering.I have finally found my bra! It's very comfortable, made tobreath so it doesn't make me itch, and for someone with afuller figure, like me, the size reduction is very flattering. I planto buy several more of these bras. They have a nice wide strapthat's very comfortable, and I can see myself wearing theseeven outside my workouts. It also fit perfectly and that's sorare when I order anything online.
