I have 2 of these and use them for high energy dance classes. I have a D cup and was looking primarily for comfort and support as I throw myself about a lot. The best thing I can say is the bra is so comfortable, that I hardly notice I am wearing it. It allows for natural movement without a feeling of constriction, and I find the support is excellent (no more 'bouncing boob' syndrome). The breathable feature is something I also appreciate, and the slightly wider width of the strap at the shoulders is a great idea as the straps never cut into the skin.Admittedly, the style is not particularly feminine and some may wish for a more flattering design, but there is a feature at the back that allows you to convert to a muscle back if you want it to look more sporty. And whose going to see it anyway? (I only use mine for sports).I also like that they last well and are easy to launder - unlike most bras of this type. They can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle as well. I use each about 4 times a week and they last about 12 months.

I bought this (in black) for the gym and, on my first chance of wearing it, it performed perfectly. It's not as unattractive as some sports bras can be and was easy to put on. I choose the classic bra because I wanted a bra that didn't have the hassles I've seen other people get into pulling them over their heads. Sometimes they look like they're contortionists when they struggle to get into or out of their bras. And this one was really simple to get on and off.I tend to do a bit of everything - some stretching, some jogging on the treadmill, some spinning, weights and rowing etc. I am a 38C and this bra holds everything in place while also making sure your breasts don't become unsightly solid mono-bumps.There was hardly any movement and the bra itself never felt too tight. And,although it says this bra is for support level 3 and thus not meant to be for running, it was fine for short bursts on the treadmill. If you're doing a lot more running, I'd advise getting a bra with more support.

I used the guidelines to measure myself but even so I can get my fingers under the bra under my armpit, pull it and have 1/2 an inch gap,and there's about 1.5/2 inch gap under the shoulder strap.I've also got it on the 3rd hook(the tightest one possible) so after i've had it a while and it gets bigger I won't have any wiggle room to tighten it and do it up in the next hook along.Having said that I didn't feel much movement when doing zumba but it could be a different story with jogging. So bare that in mind. The fabric's a bit scratchy but luckily it didn't irritate my skin while dancing.Finding a bra or a sports bra that fits is like finding the holy grail but at least I know that I need to buya smaller size next time.It keeps the girls in place but it doesn't give you any va va voom cleavage sadly but one really good thing is there's no boob squidging going on at the front/side.Would buy again but a smaller size.

This bra is beautiful and functional. I would not use it for a run, but I would use it for bike commuting (when there are bumps in the road, my girls hurt in a normal everyday bra) and other not-high-impact exercise like hiking, many gym sports, etc. - and I would certainly appreciate it for those moments when I end up doing some unanticipated bouncing, like when I need to run to catch a stoplight and normally look like an idiot with my arms crossed under my chest to try to minimize the issue. The thing is, the bra is so damn comfortable I'm very tempted to make it my everyday go-to bra and ditch the traditional ones. Since I am fairly well-endowed (34DD), the bra also helps to make my breasts appear a little smaller, which in my case makes clothing fit better.

I have never had a bra (sports bra or otherwise) this supportive. I have a hard time spending a lot of money on sports bras and I was very happy with the price of this bra. I can jump rope with my daughter now and don't have the pain! Jumping jacks, jogging, etc are all accomplished now without having to "hold" myself with one arm. It's very comfortable as well. It has a nice cushion where it hooks too, so that part isn't irritating (and it's so nice to have a sports bra that doesn't have to be pulled over my head).I would also like to add that I am a nursing mom right now, so even with my change in size (minimal throughout the day), I can still wear this bra comfortably.I highly recommend this if you need an affordable, supportive bra to workout in.

This bra provides the kind of good support that you'd expect from Shock Absorber. The padded straps provide added comfort, and the wide underband sits nicely against the ribcage for support. Although the description states that it's not suitable for running, I've worn this bra a couple of times when out running, and it felt fine (I wear a C cup). The only issue I have with this bra is that the cups give me quite a strange silhouette - from the side, my chest looks slightly 'pointy'. Some women might like this shape - my older Shock Absorber bras have tended to minimize the chest, giving more of a flattened shape, which is not attractive either but is at least inconspicuous!

I measure as 33". I get the 32" so there is room for the bra to stretch. If I get the 34" there is no room to tighten it when the bra inevitably will lose it's elasticity. This has been advised to me by multiple bra specialists, such as one in department stores and Victoria's Secret. No, this is not a bra for wearing under nicer clothes, but you can use the same takeaways for fit. It is extremely supportive. Just try bouncing around and you'll see your breasts hardly move! I use it for high impact sports such as trail running and mountain biking. For less active endeavors like yoga or walking this much support is not needed. This is my second purchase.

I usually wear a 32C but had to go to a 32D in this bra. Pros: 1. The fit and support of the cup is excellent. 2. The band is supportive 3. The cups give my figure a nice shape and 4. I love the fact that I am not smashed with compression cups. Cons: 1. The photo makes the bra look like a center pull type. I found the straps to be more to the side and less than ideal for my natural forward rolled and narrow shoulder conformation. Moving the straps to the center 3/8" to 1/2" would make this bra a better fit for me. 2. The cup seams should through knit tops.

Bought this as have exactly same one bought from a department store but after a couple of years' serious use, the clasp has twisted (still works though). Needed another so I didn't have to keep washing same one between gym sessions. Completely supports large bust (on a small frame!). I have a friend who told me she uses a shock absorber run bra but still gets quite a bit of movement. This one is perfect for me.

I go to the gym regularly (but do not do any running) and I find this bra a good fit and very comfortable (I have quite a small bust). The padding over the fastener makes it comfortable for floor/bench work on your back, the straps are wide and do not dig in and it keeps everything in place! I throw it in the washing machine and it comes out smiling. I have three of these and would buy again when one wears out.

I do love the shock absorbers as being a 'larger' woman up top, it is nice to have the support when doing every day chores, and if you have to move faster than normal, not having to worry about whiplash ;) It is a good fit, cup and back size and it is so comfy, sometimes i forget i am wearing a bra! Fantastic service as item arrived in the amazon locker within 2 days so i could collect when i wanted.

After reading loads of reviews i went with this one as the back fastening does make getting it on easier even if you have to fasten at front and spin round. I got a larger back but same cup size as these can be small. mine fits fine. Is very supportive but am only a c cup anyway. I do wear under a sports top with a bra liner in too. Nowt moves!!! Good product. Does not give you a funny shape either.

Very pleased with this. Good fit, though seemed tight at first, but it holds everything in place during aerobic/zumba workouts. It is a narrower fit than any other bra I wear as, despite the fact that I have a narrow back, I have to use the last hooks on the adjustable back fastening. So probably an average 36d wearer would be comfortable in 38d using the first/second back hook fastening.

Bought this for work (I work outdoors). Fits nice, cup size accurate, comfortable to wear all day in a physical job. Not sure you could jog in it mind, but I don't run much so couldn't say for sure.Price good. Has survived been washed many times - i.e. it's not frayed at the seams or come apart or lost its colour. Would buy another. More colour variations other than white would be nice.

Great Bra, love the support, 32D is hard to find. The shape is not so good, very pointy as in the 50s or even 40s I had to saw the point because added another 2 sizes and was empty in the point. So if you can have it saw for more round shape it is great other wise looks very old fashion shape. But I still like it because has great support. I hope they improve the shape.
