Not reviewed by me! This was an order for my girlfriend and this is her review:Shock Absorbers have a good reputation for being robust and sturdy. I've tended to stick to back-fastening sports bras, because of the adjustability you get with the fastenings. I've also had a less than positive experience with the zippers on a front-fastening sports bra, which has made me more reluctant to try again. However, this bra has extra fixings at the front so you're not just relying on the zip to stay up... should all else fail with the zip the extra fixings will keep you in place. This bra is on the small size, compared with the other Shock Absorbers I have in the same size; obviously with a front-zipper this matters more because you can't adjust it,so if you are between sizes I'd make sure you've weighed up whether you're wanting to get strapped in very tightly - or if you'd rather give yourself the benefit of the doubt; I suppose that very much depends on what activity you are planning on doing! This bra is great for light to moderate exercise. I wouldn't wear it running or to a high intensity class, but I'm happy to wear it to the gym for a weights or yoga session as it offers great flexibility. I'd also wear it hiking or spinning and feel confident and supported. It's fabulous for people who want to use a front-fastener, and incredibly good value for money. Importantly, it washes well at a 40°C synthetics wash, and dries very quickly too, so is ready for action again when needed.

I love this sports bra. I got it for the benefit of front-fastening, which I needed post-shoulder surgery, but the support it gives is better than other sports bra, and I'm really enjoying wearing it for rehab exercises. I have yet to give it a really aerobic workout, to see whether it gives the same impressive support during high impact exercise, but I think it will. It keeps everything close in, so minimises jiggle and makes exercise more contained, efficient and comfortable. It also means I can observe more clearly what my body's doing (to maintain the correct posture during the exercise) and, for those of us used to managing bigger breasts, it helps promote better posture - I stand taller in this bra.I also like the shape of the back, which leaves the shoulder blades free. The upbeat pattern and colours just add to the pleasure.

fits very well, there is sufficient material for this sports bra to cover most of the breasts, thus the design does actually support one during high impact exercise (running/rugby). Comfortable too, even in the recent heat wave that we've been experiencing. Washes well. As with other reviewers, agree it is easier if you fasten the 2 catches first before you close the zip as this makes it easier. I got 2 of these (in different colours) when they were on offer, but having tried a different brand recently (that was rubbish) I would say you do get what you pay for & it is well worth paying the extra (when it's full price) for Bone Fide Shock Absorber brand.

Forever have I been using a normal bra under my sports bra, accepting that I would never have full control of my boobs. Nuh-huh sista'! I scoured the Internet for hours on end refusing to pay £1,000,000,000 for a sports bra and came across this little beauty! It came so quickly that I'm sure the seller drove it to my doorstep as soon as the order went through (I am not complaining!) FINALLY I go full throttle in my exercise classes without the fear of black eyes or sore boobs. I bought my actual size 34D and although the bra is difficult to do up (if it was loose it probably wouldn't hold me down) it is comfortable to wear and I will soon own two!!!

Was looking for a new running bra, and have been using m&s ones which I find really supportive. I know shock absorber are a great brand for sports bras and I love the style of the zip up front. I would say though in my opinion this gives good support but would be more suited to gym workouts rather than full on running, as there is a little more bounce than I would like. i do find the bra itself very comfortable, love the colour and design and it's really easy to get on and off. Just not the most supportive sports bra I've ever had.

Excellent support, breathable fabric, feels good quality. Very pleased with the price, not really the colour I would go for but for working out at home it's great. The purple/yellow is actually a better colour than it looks in picture- not so grape more amethyst. The size is as expected, I've had shock absorber bras before. They are meant to feel supportive and do loosen up slightly with wea, I brought my usual size (32dd) and it fits well. A good quality sports bra for under £10- bargain.

So far I LOVE the fit of this bra and the colour and everything. I went with the reviews and instead of my regular 34D I got a 36D. It's a little loose but I think I needed that as I will use it for yoga and I have had some shoulder damage from bras being too tight. Also I don't think I would have been able to get into the 34 as this fit is only slightly loose. Overall I am very happy with this.

When ordering I took into account the reviews in regards to sizing & just went up one cup size. I have had shock absorber sports bras in the past but having just taken up running needed a new one.Very happy with my purchase & good price for this brand. Great front fastening which will make taking this off when all sweaty much easier I hope!! Not had chance to actually use as yet.

I’d seen the previous reviews before I bought this so bought a bigger bra than I would normally wear. It is still really tight and I have to lie down/jiggle/seek assistance to get the clips and zip done up and then again to get it undone! It’s a good looking and supportive sports bra but sadly it doesn’t work as I wanted it to and therefore I don’t often wear it.

I ordered this as I was going trampolining for a friend's birthday. It worked brilliantly and was so comfy!!The only slight bad point for me is that there are two clips that you have to do up to help keep it together so you can zip it up and having a larger bust.. I felt that these could break pretty easily.

Great support when running. I tried the back fastening ones but you need to be a contortionist to do them up.. this one is simple just zips up the front so easy to get on and off. I am normally a 36 d but after reading reviews on here went up a back size and down 2 cup sizes so got a 38b which was perfect.

Great sports bra as expected from shock absorber. Good quality however not a good sizing. I ordered as usual my size however find the bra slightly tight around my back and chest therefore size up would be better. Suggest going size up as fit is very tight.

No jumping boobies in this! I usually wear a 32C or 34B, I brought a 34C in this and it's perfect. I expected it to be slightly small, as sports bras often are in attempt to constrain you! This certainly works very well.

Great support. The trick to putting it on is to fasten the bottom catch above the bust and then pull it down into position. Then zip up, adjust yourself and fasten top catch. It may seem too small but it’s not.

Shock Absorber sports bras are the best. Yes they are tight but if they weren't they wouldn't be effective! A bit of a squeeze to get my 36dd's into it - but it certainly does the job. Looks nice too.
